  1. i'm in the UK and i ordered on the 17th March and did not receive any sort of confirmation my payment had been received and i have not received any shipping notification either.  i emailed beth on the 31st march and the 8th april and have had no replies...i'm going to try again tomorrow as it will be 4 weeks to the day i ordered.  i know the lab is really backed up but its quite frustrating when you don't get any response at all to your emails.  i understand the stresses beth et al are under etc and i feel rotten repeatedly contacting them all the time.  i don't know what to do now...just keep waiting i suppose!!

    claire xxx :D  :P

I ordered March 13th, and my order was shipped April 3. My order hasn't arrived yet, but I expect it within a few days. (I'm in Canada) Since you ordered a few days later, yours quite likely went out within a few days of mine, and considering that allorders from 3/20 and prior are en route now, I would wait a bit, as it's probably winging it's way across the globe to you as we speak! :D

  2. For those of you who have already received your orders, when was your original order date?  I'm still waiting on my order placed 3/17  :P

I'm still waiting on my order from 3/13, but it is on it's way, and yours likely is too, or will be very soon! Don't dispair...depending on where you live, it may be slowed down by the silly postal system, but it will get to you eventually! :D

  3. Just out of curiosity, does this include orders placed on 3/13?

That's when I ordered mine, and my CCNow page says it has been shipped, but I know CCNow was arbitrarily assigning inaccurate shipped dates before, so I don't want to get my hopes up yet. :P

Also, does this include international (Canadian) orders?

Either way, yay, because if it hasn't been shipped yet I guess it will be in the next batch to go out! :D

I can't wait! You rock, Elizabeth!

  4. morrighana - you gotta remember that int'l shipping DOES require that they go to the post office, so if they're getting hourly wages (hell even if they get salaries), they're paying someone to go drop that off, on top of the cost of materials.

hehehe, yea, I knew I was forgetting something!

including any other extra costs I'm forgetting

    See? :P

So, anyone know how much this would be? Or is it already incorporated into the cost of the oils?

Also, which UPSP service does BPAL use for international orders? I'm guessing Global Priority Mail - Variable Weight (single) based on the quotes I've heard...is this correct?

  5. Could anyone who *has* recieved an order already contribute any of the following information:

How much (approx) does a 5ml bottle (standard, not fancy ones) weigh?

    "........."......."............"...."..10ml..."......".............."..."......"......."........"?

    "........."......."...........do 6 imp's ears................................................."?

What are the dimension of the standard size order's shipping box?

Also, for Brian/Elizabeth specifically (or anyone else if you happen to know), how much, approximately, does the average order's packaging (box, tape, bubble wrap, etc...and including any other extra costs I'm forgetting, and assuming that the order fits in a standard size box) cost?

If we can get this info from you all, we can make up a nice little table for approximate costs to major European countries + Oz

  6. I also would prefer not to have "signature required" be an option we choose, if it meant that if another USPS screw-up happened, customers would have no recourse if their package got lost and they hadn't chosen that option. However, I'm all for paying an additional shipping insurance fee. That way, we'd all be protected, customers and BPAL.

Perhaps we could have both options?

That way, we could click the respective boxes when we order to choose whether to sign for our package, OR buy insurance for it, OR both? (and there should be a disclaimer, saying that BPAL is NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages if we do not choose EITHER.)

I think this would be most sensible.

  7. Postmen here in the UK used to be REALLY bad at just leaving parcels outside the door and walking away.  A couple of years ago I came home from a fortnight's holiday abroad to find a box of rotting flowers that a friend had sent as a birthday gift ozzing slime on the doorstep.  Another time a little card was posted through the door saying 'I have left your parcel...'  with a space for the postman to write 'with neighbour' or 'in garage'.  On this occasion the helpful postie had written 'in dustbin' (trash can to US readers!)  Needless to say it was bin collection day ..... :P

:D Wow, that's awful! I hope you were duly compensated for that...that's totally unacceptable!

I'm all for signing for packages. The suggestion to make it optional would be a good idea...that way, if we don't click *YES! I WANT TO SIGN FOR IT*, it's our own fault if it goes astray, not yours!

That would rid you of a headache or two.

  8. that might explain the questions about the canadian orders elizabeth! told ya not to worry about us canadians!

    :P

But I **LOVE** my Canadians. :D

Did I ever tell you... Don Cherry is my hero? Seriously.

I'm a new member of the Canadian contingent here, and I just thought I'd add, I don't mind an extra wait, as long as everything arrives eventually!! Gods know we're all used to waiting aaaaaages for Canada Post to deliver things anyway...I think we're used to it by now. :D

I also wouldn't mind paying a little extra for insurance, if it would help you out! If nonboardmember customers (as it appears that everybody here is ok with paying the extra) complain, you should just incorporate the cost into the existing (mandatory) shipping fees.

People love your products, I don't think anybody will cease being a customer over a few dollars. :D

  9. Elizabeth, I was wondering if are you able to take new orders yet. I know you're swamped so I thought I'd ask before I put in another order. You must be exhausted!

I was wondering the same thing...the longer I wait to order, the longer my list of imps to order gets! :P Not that I'm complaining, lol. Also, I wouldn't want to add to what must be a stressful situation for you, so I really don't mind waiting. :D
