I was really excited for this one because honey, rose and carnation are the three scents I am most addicted to so I knew this one was a winner out of the gate!
In the bottle I get slight rose, carnation and a sweet vanilla like scent. It's a sweet floral to me anyway! Not as heavy on the rose note as I would like.
On my skin I get a very lemony smell, it's like a fresh floral maybe thats the carnation? I don't get spicy or heavy rose on this one at all. It's actually very refreshing!
On the dry down I get more carnation coming out, and the lemon goes away. Theres something in the back I can't put my finger on, maybe thats the clover, berries, or blood? It's a tad bit earthy to me. I picture a carnation growing in the wild, or in a vase in a dusty old room.Verdict: I like it! It's not anything that I expected but it's complex and interesting. I don't get any rose in this at all, but the carnation shows up and is just sweetened a tad by the honey.

I love this scent! It goes on all rose at first, but then the coconut and vanilla show up for a while. I can see this being a cousin to the Last Unicorn scent in the first stages, but it's not so earthy. As it dries down though I get more sandalwood and something soft, but the rose does go away on me. I wish the rose stayed around, as I love anything rose!
I can see the similarities between this and Katrina Von Tassel, but it's not as creamy. This is a very soft and beautiful scent though and I'm so glad I caught it in time.

I also love cream/milky scents! From what I have tried so far I get it from Katrina Van Tassel (creamy rose), Alice, and Antique Lace ends up being creamy vanilla on me.

How about Aveda's Brilliant? I love the smell of the shampoo and hairspray but the ingredients don't really help with picking out the single notes. I looked it up and the only thing listed is Black tea, Certified organic aloe, Certified organic calendula, Certified organic chamomile. Any similar bpal oils?

I love this one! At first sniff I thought it would be way too green for my liking...but after putting it on it becomes an instant dandelion that fell in a mug of beer. Yay! It softens to a mossy smell to me after a while. This scent reminds me of running around in a field on a summers day and cooling off with a swig of beer. I don't get hillbilly at all with this, but then again that could be my roots that make me oblivious!
I can see myself wearing this in the spring and summer! Just maybe not at work...

Great recs, thanks! Bezoar sounds good, especially since it would just be the Chai tea scent...in case I'm not feeling Vanilla that day. I can't wait to sniff these!
Thanks

Hello all!
I was having a cup of Vanilla Chai tea when it hit me! This smells amazing, I want to smell like this! It's the spiciness to the Chai that I really love...the vanilla mellows it down and makes it creamy. Any ideas to what might match this?
Thanks for the help!

Does anyone know a similar scent to Loukhoum by Keiko Mecheri? The notes are:
hawthorn blossom, bulgarian rose absolute, precious woods, vanilla, Comores flowers, white almond, musk
Another favorite of mine is Carthusia Fiori Di Capri
these notes are:
The Mediterranean notes of wild carnation, lily of the valley and oak come together with the exotic aroma of amber, sandal and ylang ylang in a fascinating, joyful, unforgettable melange.
Thanks!

I came back to Bpal after a bit of a hiatus and I'm so glad I did! This is the first scent I picked up and it's just lovely. A fresh apple with a golden honey drizzle. It ends up smelling more like fall on me when the notes come together, like i'm out at an apple orchard on a cool day eating honeycomb. I absolutely love it!
