This was a Xmas gift from a friend. I would have never picked this myself but I am finding out that I like it! At first its a sweet cocoa smell, then the cherry steps up a bit. I can smell oranges but its not at all what you'd think it would smell like. These notes go so well together and it doesnt feel too overpowering to me. It DOES last a good 4 hours on my skin and has a very light floral feel to it. Very Yum!

Bluebeard smells to me like sea water and the soggy wood of a ship. Its not really something I like, in fact it brings to mind going fishing in the sea and getting sick. I have no idea where this comes from. Then it gets musky, hmm this one is a bit odd.It really does capture Bluebeard though.

I love this! Its making me crave a shot of anisette, this is minty and full of black licorice. Dead on Absinthe. Not to mention that I love the smell of cardamom. If you can't get ahold of some absinthe, grab a bottle of anisette, the labs Absinthe smells just like it! This fades into a softer scent, I can see how some may say it is soapy but it smells more sweet to me. A beautiful, very dejvu inducing scent!

I love cinnamon and frankincense so I Love Faustus. the Violet gives it a light floral smell and in this oil blend it works so well. It is very long lasting and strong. No need to slather this stuff on because a small amount smells really good. This goes on my big bottle list.

Yuletide smells to me like a mix of cinnamon, clove and peppermint. This smells alot different than last years. I think the 04 version is better. Maybe my nose has changed a bit so I like it more. This one is very wonderful and lasts about 2-3 hours before the need to reapply.

Theres berry peppermint coming out of the bottle. As it becomes one with my skin it seems to magnify. I feel the cool winter breeze in this but theres that berry that seems to be making it unenjoyable. It almost has a spicey berry note in this, but I'm not sure what that is. This is a very wonderful perfume for someone else, not me. I want to enjoy it but the berry keeps slapping me in the face.

This is ROSE. This is the most perfect rose scent I have ever tried. If you go out into the garden early in the morning. Smell the brightest newest red rose you can find and this is what Rose Red smells like. She stays true on my skin, it reminds me of waking up early and picking roses!!! I'm kicking myself for not trying this last year and hugging myself for getting a bottle in 2004!

Out of the bottle I could really smell the cherry as mentioned before. Once I put it on my wrists I could smelll the cherry Wood used in this. In fact it reminded me of Woodshop I took back in High School. The smells of the classroom. Tobacco, Leather and wood. Its not like any other wood (ex sandalwood, cedar) but the smell of expensive cherry wood. Its a light smoky woodsy kinda scent. There is the hints of leather and tobacco in there as well. It is very pleasant and more feminine than I originally thought it would be. This one lasts a good long time too, it lasted a good part of the day for me.

How bout Black Forest?

This is light and sweet. I love the smell of Orchids in this. It almost has a candy scent ot it, like bubblegum. It is a very fun scent in a sweet girlish way. I don't smell the jasmine so much. Usually that is the first scent that jumps out to me but not in this blend. There is the orchid and plum very noticable, with the daffodil being very pretty in the backround. I smell a small amount of musk, but it is very light. I can imagine slathing this on because it is so beautiful and light.

Out of the bottle I can defintaly smell the EggNog. Once I aplly it to my skin it is a Boozy heavy cream. Its like rum/cream filled white chocolate. Its got that vanilla flavor to it. It stays on me for about an hour with which I need to reapply. It is o so tasty through all of its stages. Very true to its name.

I felt compelled to add that Eggnog is my new oil for my burner, It makes the whole room smell like hot Eggnog.

Oh, Yeah this is mistletoe. Its got that pine tree smell splashed with a bitter berry. It really smells like the Season. It comes on strong and it morfs into something sweet and spicey. Theres a hotness in this too. I can't say the scent lasts too long, It seems to fade after a couple hours. This one is a winner though and mixes oh so well with Ice Queen.

When I first opened the bottle and got a whif she was crisp and clean with a dark voice.

She was still beautiful after the first application on my flesh, as said before it reminded me of something, its almost like the perfume CK1 but with more pear.

The second time I wore this brought Ken on like a dog. He couldnt stop sniffing me. "you smell so good, did you spill some?" I had only applied a small amount (no slathering needed) He loves it on me, Ice Queen ain't frigid, shes warmth surrounded by an Icey breeze in the dead of winter.

The note as far as I can tell is a bit of pear, light musk, possibly cereus, maybe something like ginseng, something grown in the dark. Very beautiful, theres almost a buttery quality that you get with Snow white , but add some musk and pear. I also want to add that it does smell foresty, like trees, an early morning walk as the Sun rises through the fog.

At first when I put it on I smelled cloves, maybe some cinnamon. It morfs Like said above flower chamomile or carnations. It is almost creamy, the clove is still there, it came on strong but is now settling in the darkness. I really like this, its long lasting too. Frankincense and amber or something that gives it that texture. Really beautiful. Hopefully I'm not saying this too soon but it may just be my favorite of the Stations of the Sun 4. There is a note that I just can't place, it gives it a masculine feel while being nurturing. Definatley unisex. Very beautiful.

MMM this is the first of the solar collection for me to try. Ahathoor is a sweet orangy cinnamon stick in a bundle of crushed cloves. Theres frankincense or Sandalwood? possibly both. I smell something like a flower, a big orange flower, like a marigold. Very beautiful, It really starts to morf into almost an anisette sweet and sour something, so hard to explain. It is pleasing.

I put some Somnus on My SO, my son and I . My son was out at 8pm just after I applied this oil. My SO who has really weird sleep patterns slept like a baby, which is amazing because of all the stress hes been going through this week. As for me It had its job cut out for it. I am a mess, I can't say I slept well but I did smell really good. Its a lavender floral, its a rose that I get along with (is this a white rose?)which makes me wonder if its rose at all. Theres a touch of jasmine as well, its close to the way Oneiroi smells, but has less jasmine in it. Really a beautiful scent, which would've worked for me I'm sure if I havent been so sick these past few days. I'll try it again tonight and see how It works for me! (Ken was over the moon about it)

Hmm this is Lavender with something strong in the backround, something green, possibly a flower note in there as well but the dominant note to my nose is Lavender. The smell is good, it lasts a good few hours. The thing that I've been noticing as I've been wearing; is the complete control of my dreams. I've been having dreams that could've turned out bad, but I made them stop. If you've worked with dreams before, you'll know you need to have a strong will to control them at times. With these dreams I've been having, they turned into my uprising. I slap the monsters in the face and they run off screaming. I have Somnus coming to me in a 5ml but Baku and all the others are now on my list. This is really good stuff~!

Nyarlathotep smells to me like the really good frankincense as it is burning, almost lemony but not a citrus. Its dark and I find it to be unisex, it smells really good on me and I would love to smell it off anyone else as long as thy're chemistry is willing

I got this imp in a swap and I ordered one with my Yule order I will be keeping them both! This is strong and you don't have to apply a whole lot of it for it lasts really well.

Well, on my trip to Mexico recently, I took some Capricorn oil with me because of the Cedar in it. Luckly the mosquitos didnt hatch until the last day I was there. Unfortunatly it didnt matter what I did they were HUNGRY. I even put on the super strong insect repellents and they were STILL after me. I must taste good You might want to try eating alot of garlic and onions like alot. I don't think they liek the secretions...

I think www.Prairielandherbs.com has some insect repellent soap or something.

Wow Hunter moon, Slightly spicy A darker Mabon. Is there eucalyptus in this? It smells like something even minty maybe, but still with a heavy spiced fruit in the lead. I like this much better than Mabon though, as it seems to have more staying power, I'm guessing this is the added musk (I really like dark musks) Theres definatly that Luna flavor in it, I really am enjoying this. It doesnt Beat red moon but it is a keeper!

I don't know if I love this or hate this... It starts off strong, pungent it really has its own personality. As it wears in I can smell the Nag Champa a little more and there almost an animal smell to it, not musk but civet, I'm guessing this is the Labdanum. If theres lavender in this its not coming out as strong as the other notes, but the smoke and incense is . It is more masculine than feminine smelling to me, the blackened sandalwood and Nag Champa really stand out, but unfortunatly so does that feral animal smell. I'll have to give this time, it may be the wrong time of the month to wear this. I really do want to love this!

Can someone help me pronounce Gaueko? I keep saying it lik you would gaucomole...

I got this imp as a freebie, definatley not something I would order on my own! Loviatar scares me, she loves torture and vengance. I reluctantly put on her perfume and fell hard in love with this scent. This is confidence & superiority. I put this on when I am feeling the whip of life at my back, and it gives me strength. Its a heavy dark scent the leather and black amber feel dominant in this, its very long lasting, you don't need alot. I feel like if I would slather myself in this it would cause a scent overdose since it is so strong. This has become my favorite Black Phoenix Scent so far.

MMM I smell milk and honey, at first I thought this evapoated on myself but I can smell it on me as I move around. Its soft and comforting, Its like a sweet warm mug of milk before bedtime. Very calming, this is good stuff. I'm keeping my lil' ear but I'm not sure about a bigger bottle, its sweet, I'll have to try this and see how long my imps ear lasts! I didnt smell the ginger at all, just milk and honey. I had put some on last night before my meditations and I must've sat there for 2 hours in deep thought staring at the candle light. I went to bed and had a good sleep night, no nightmares or unrest. I felt really good in the morning. Give it a try, if you havent already!

Wow oh wow, really this is a masterpeice. Out of the bottle I smell a warm pumkin, not overbearing it is very comforting. Once I put it on my skin and I smell the smoke out of a chimney on a cool night, theres a breeze and a warm cup of apple cider. This is beautiful! Beautiful!! An hour or so later it has becaome a late night walk in the forest trodding on fir needles to come home to a warm house. I do smell the apple, its like a fresh pressed hot apple cider. I feel so Blessed to have this!! Thank you Beth for creating it!!
