This is exactly what I expected. A sweet sweet dragon's blood.

It's pretty yummy out of the bottle, and when first on me it has all of the warm spicyness of the dragon's blood with a lot of sweet vanilla. It's a sticky scent.

The floralness of the dragon's blood really comes out in drydown.

Oh, I see what you mean about the public restroom smell. When I put it on yesterday I didn't really notice it, but now that's in my head, I can smell it.

Thankfully, it doesn't last for long on me. The super sticky smell has relaxed, and it's gone back to being really yummy. Still sticky, but not overbearing.

Yesterday I had been out in the hot sun a lot, and I smelled like spicy caramel. It's less carmely today, but no less sweet. I'm very tempted to lick my arm.

I like this, not as much as I like Dragon's Musk though. I dislike being this sweet in this weather, although I think it smells good on me. I'm going to have to set it aside for the season, but I look forward to wearing it some other times.

Now this is the Dragon's blood scent I've been looking for! I still have others to try, but this I need to get a large bottle of.

In the vial- smells mostly like dragon's blood to me, but darker.

On me- Holy Mother of God, is this sexy. Yes, I overuse this word, I know. But seriously, this makes me feel powerful and dangerous. The dragon's blood starts out as the dominant note, but the musks keep it from being too floral for me. It gets a little powdery on me, but this is in no way bad, and so far it's staying warm and spicy and way tasty. It'sreally strong, but it doesn't get too perfumey, which I hate. It's definitely a "going out for an evening" scent, and shouldn't be worn during the day, ever. But like I said, this is exactly what I've been looking for.

I'm a big huge fan of a dragon's blood that I got a Ren Faire a million years ago. In my quest to find it again, I've tried many others and hated them. They weren't what I remember, spicy and sweet and more than a little dangerous.

In the bottle, this is the scent I remember, if a wee bit lighter, and definitely more floral. It's nice though.

On, it's warm and spicy, and well, like dragon's blood, but not quite right.

I've been wearing it for a while now, and it's definitely turned into lilac. No problem with me, I love lilacs and it's still got a bit of spice. Still, It's not perfect, but I am super excited to try the rest of the Ars Draconis blends. I can wear this, but I have a feeling I'll find what I'm looking for elsewhere.

This was also thrown in with my dragon's blood variation order. At first I wasn't sure I liked it out of the bottle, but after a couple more tries, I really dug it.

On me, it's magic. It's like summer in a bottle. Or at least, summer in Seattle going to the Fair and a nice day at Northwest Folklife Festival. Warm and dusky and earthy, super yummy. It's a fantastic lighter alternative to my beloved dragon's blood scents. It fades to a spicy baby powder smell faster than I would've liked, but that may have been because of my hair dryer. I don't mind the baby powder though, because the spice/incense keeps it sexy.

A keeper, since it'll be perfect for Seattle summer days, since they never get too hot. Summer nights are a different story however...

I don’t wear scents often, my nose isn’t trained super well, and I probably can’t describe it as well as others, but I thought I’d put in my two cents.

In the bottle- My first impression was celery. Like, bad celery. Really grossed out by it. I want to swap it right away but then decided to give it a chance.

On- Not as bad. Floral notes come out really strong, but they’re definitely of the dark variety. Quite a throw, my mom said it was overpowering her ice cream.

Hour later- Oooo, it gets nice and spicy. I can see why they threw this in as an extra imp with all the dragon’s blood variations I ordered. Sweet, woodsy, spicy, dusty. I love the smell.

Final verdict- I can’t decide whether or not I like it. I don’t really want to, especially since I really hate the first moments of it. I like the result, I think, because it’s nice and dark and spicy. I don’t think I’d wear this though, it’s still a little too floral heavy to be as sexy as I like. I have a feeling I’ll swap it at some point, but I’m going to hang on to it for a bit longer.
