    Ave Maria Gratia Plena

This is a strong floral blend, but it is a fruity floral (if that makes any sense) so I don't mind it as much as some other stronger floral blends. As usual, the jasmine takes center stage, with the lily and orris coming in a close second. But it's the lovely mysore sandalwood that grounds this and gives it a spicy, somewhat fruity depth instead of letting it turn to powder like flowers usually do on my skin. There isn't much in the way of musk, lemon peel, or sage, but we'll see how this continues to morph as the day goes on.

    Antony

This is spicy and masculine, with a touch of androgyny so that it's fun for me to wear. I can't really identify the individual notes because it's so well blended. Very playful.

    Crossroads

This is overwhelming sweet cloying floral. I think I get lilies and perhaps gardenia. I wanted the mosses, I wanted the earth. But this is up your nose with a lead pipe floral. Off to the swaps!

    Anne Bonny

I used to avoid the patchouli blends like the plague, bad memories of high school stinky hippies and potheads clouding my mind. But Beth is winning me over. This is dry and robust, woodsy and sharp... and I love it! The blend of the patchouli and the sandalwood... heavenly! The frankincense kind of hangs around in the back, making things smoky and mysterious. This is just a great blend. A great, great blend.

    Centzon Totochtin

This is a dry and bitter, but very decadent blend. Deep, dark, powdery cocoa and rich, blood red wine are the most prominent notes. It has a substantial throw, and is deep and heady.

    Cairo

The essence of holy Kyphi, beloved incense of the Egyptian Gods. When I put this on, my husband said I smelled like the Catholic Church.

    Burial

This was sharp and bitter on my skin, and very strong. My husband said he had a lot of very negative associations with it and did not like it at all, so I don't think I'll ever be trying it again.

    Quietude

I applied this to my wrists, chest and temples at bedtime last night. It was a very strong lavender... not much else popped out with my skin chemistry. I had a very relaxing, peaceful sleep with calm dreams. I woke feeling calm and refreshed, with a little bit of the scent still lingering on my skin. Very nice.

    Blue Moon 2004

This is gentle, cool and sweet. The blend is so wonderful that I can't really distinguish one note from another... they just kind of dance and swirl together in absolutely perfect harmony. I'm not quite sure what I'm smelling, but I love it!

    Blood Pearl

After coconut being so prominant (sometimes, undesirably so) in other blends (*cough*Spooky*cough*) I was ready for the coconut in Blood Pearl. However, the orris is the strongest note and reduces the coconut to a slight creaminess in the background. The distant background. The musk is also a background note, adding a bit of depth to the blend. Definitely not what I expected.

    Black Rose

I like this because it is a truer rose (to my nose) than a lot of the blends, but it is slowly turning to soap / powder on my skin. I think that must be the musk because a similar thing happened yesterday with Black Lotus.

    Black Lotus

Born in the shadows of a Temple to Set, this corrupted Egyptian scent evokes images of black pyramids, river demons, and bleak, deadly desert sands. Black lotus flower, amber, myrrh and sandalwood. This started out bubblegum sweet like other lotus blends, but the sandalwood and myrrh have tempered it quite a bit and now it's softly spicy as well. I hope the amber comes out a bit more but I've been wearing this for about two hours now and I don't see any sign of it. This is vaguely soapy, and not really for me.

    Bayou

I had tried this quite some time ago, but didn't see that I had made a proper review in here, so here goes. This starts out light and aquatic, with a great green floral smell. But it got heavier and heavier as the day wore on and gave me a serious headache with the sweetness and thickness of the flowers.

    Baghdad

This started out lovely like any other head-shop scent, but quickly turned into soap on my skin.

    Athens

This is sweet and heady. The honey and the wine blend beautifully, and have wonderful throw. I'll also chime in that the association with a head-shop is pretty dead on.

    The Apothecary

This is a very nice light summer scent. I bought it for the fig, but the tea, herbs and ginger are the strongest notes in the blend. It's very crisp and clean and green, with the slightest hint of fruit which must be the fig. Lovely!

    Anathema

I was hesitant to apply this as vetiver is one of my major arch-nemeses. But the honeysuckle is tempering it very well. Like someone else mentioned, this actually does smell quite a bit like dragon's blood, which I like. I was kind of hoping for a bit more of an edge from the opium, but right now it's all honeysuckle and vetiver. Nice, but... I don't know.

    Zombi

At first, this had the same bitter bite of Graveyard Dirt so I didn't think it was going to work for me. But it didn't take long for the mosses to soothe it and add a slight herbal note to the dirt, and the roses... This actually ends up being a really beautiful scent. I'm glad I tried it, even though I avoided it for the "earth" note for so long.

    Strawberry Moon 2005

I love how strong and real the strawberries smell in the bottle, but on my skin, much to my dismay, this turns into strawberry candles or those Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the 80's... very plastic and fake scented. My skin chemistry did not let this one work for me.

    Zorya

This was very lovely, despite my initial fear over the jasmine (which doesn't usually work on me). It was very floral and quite strong. I didn't get much of the spices or the musk, but there was an underlying note (not sure which) that gave the blend a bit of a berry quality, and made the jasmine more tolerable.

    Honey Moon

This was gorgeous, slick and sticky, golden and delicious honey! It went through phases where the ginger and / or the gardenia would peek out meekly, but for the most part it was simply the lovely honey. It had a good throw and lasted a very long time! I could even smell it when I woke up this morning, so I'd say it lasted about 19 hours or so. Beautiful!

    June Gloom 2004

I wish that consumer products hadn't gotten so carried away with making everything lemon scented back in the day, because I think that I would have enjoyed this blend much more had I not been overwhelmed by lemon dish soap, floor cleaner, wood cleaner, etc. in the past. It has a LOT of throw, and it's all lemon. There is a slight soapy note to it that I imagine must be the rain. So it's as if I smeared lemon-scented Dawn dish soap on my wrist. Very strong, and with an unpleasant association, so I can't really enjoy this one as much as I'd hoped.

    Thirteen (13)

While this was a very lovely blend and I enjoyed wearing it, I had a very hard time identifying any of the individual notes listed. On my skin, there was a smell very much like aldehyde... very perfumy. But it was floral and creamy and soft. Not a very foody scent as I would have guessed from all the lovely food ingredients. I did like it, but I think I need to test it again to see if I can get anything other than "perfume" out of it.

    Tiger Lily

A feisty bouquet of golden, warm, gently honeyed lilies. Lilies, with a heaping helping of lilies, topped with lilies, and some lilies on the side. Did I mention the lilies? Seriously, though, this is a very strong green floral. Pretty, but not really my cuppa tea.

    Whitechapel

This is actually very lovely. It is a sweet, creamy floral. The most dominant note on me is the lilac, which I love, and the lime and citron bring up the rear beautifully. There isn't much of a hint of the white musk, but perhaps as the day wears on...
