    Night Queen?

The Night Queen perfume oil that I used to wear smelled like night blooming flowers with a light aquatic. To my nose, BPAL's Midnight which contains (according the website) evening primrose, ruellia, flowering nicotiana, wild petunia, panani-o-kai, night phlox, night gladiolus, moonflower and Nottingham Catchfly, smells pretty damn similar. Actually, when I first put it on I said, "why does this smell like night queen?". Anyway, hope that helps.

    Dorian

When I read the reviews of Dorian I knew I had to try it. When I got my imp today, I could have kicked myself for not ordering a bottle. I want to smell like Dorian 24/7 from now on. It's creamy, it's sweet (it smells just like the vanilla tea that I drink iced), and it makes me want to do naughty things When the lunacy blend comes around this month, I will be ordering a 10 ml of Dorian (which says a lot because I have never bought a 10 ml before).

    Chaste Moon 2005

I don't know what's wrong with me and my nose (since no one has noted this), but this scent reminds me a bit of Bathsheba. It has this enveloping, slightly spicy/sweet/creamy feel. And Bathsheba is one of my top ten scents so you know I love Chaste Moon. This is actually the first lunacy blend that I liked the description enough to buy (oddly enough, Chaste Moon is the full moon for my birthday month). In the bottle, I don't get butterscotch, I get more of a scent similar to sniffing a bag of microwave popcorn before it's been popped. It actually makes me a bit nauseated BUT as soon as it comes in contact with my skin it blooms into this beautiful, creamy, light, slightly floral scent that just makes me sigh with content. I wonder if one of the flowers is carnation, maybe that's why it reminds me of Bathsheba. I don't think I would wear it while I am about in the world because it has little to no throw on me, but it will be my comfort, home, curl-up-with-hubby scent. I am so glad that I bought multiple bottles of this. ETA: I did wear it to work on Friday. After awhile I couldn't smell it unless I sniffed my wrist (which smelled like a deep, creamy coconut - one of my favorite scents), but everyone in the office kept commenting on it very late into the day so apparently it does have a lot of throw and is very long lasting.

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils

Ditto. That's how I am with Kali. It is one of my favourite BPAL scents, but it makes my break out in a horrible rash anywhere that the oil touches my skin (and I am a slatherer)

    Spooky

I thought I was the only one that this was happening to. In the bottle and when I actually put my nose to my wrist and sniff, all I smell is a mint and chocolate (and I hate it), but if I am just walking around (Spooky has some nice throw by the way), I smell coconut oil and a light hint of mint. I LOVE COCONUT. I LOVE SPOOKY. I am soooooo incredibly happy that I have two bottles of Spooky because I love smelling like a coconut.

    Bathsheba

The Seventh Daughter, Daughter of the Oath. She was King David’s lover, and the mother of King Solomon. Her scent is breathtakingly lovely, exotic and powerfully sensual in its innocence: carnation, sensual plum, and Arabian musk. I think Bathsheba is one of the most slept on BPAL scents. Either that or my skin chemistry just does amazing things with this scent. When I first apply it to my skin, there is almost no scent at all. About 5 minutes in though, I am surrounded by this gorgeous, sexy, womanly scent though. I would say it's a juicy, spicy, floral blend. Quick scene (this is true): I am standing in the bedroom with all the windows open. The sunlight is coming through and the blooms planted around our bedroom window are all drooping down so that you can see them. I put on some Bathsheba and the air around me fills with this amazing scent. My husband walks into the room and sniffs. He says "those flowers smell different than usual". Then he walks closer to me and sniffs. Then he says "that's you that smells like that?!?! YUMMY!" okay, end scene. you know what happens after that...
