  1. Darker musks don't normally work on me, so here goes!

On the skin: A green floral musk? I feel like I am in a fragrant, breezy garden near a forest at night. Very very musky and pretty. This is actually a very smooth scent which I wasn't quite expecting with all the florals listed. It's one of those scents that I can't smell sniffing close to my skin, but instead I smell better from a distance.

Pretty, but I don't think it's for me.

  2. On the skin: Definitely smells like a boozy drink! With cranberry? Never had one as far as I can recall, but now I want one! Kinda makes me think of a berry Sprite after a bit.

Interesting, but I would rather drink this than smell like this!

  3. On the skin: Tropical lemon? Smells like a tropical place with lemons. I would like to vacation here!

Hmmm, it starts to smell like a breezy lemon similar to detergent and cleaning supplies. Not for me. :(

  4. On the skin: Hazelnut, fig, and chili? Huh. This smells like spicy nut bread right out of the oven.

This just isn't for me. I really wanted to try it, but the smell of hazelnuts and walnuts usually makes me feel kinda sick.

  5. On the skin: That is some dark musk. Thankfully it isn't turning powdery on me this once! Otherwise I can definitely smell sweetened myrrh, a hint of vanilla, and a slight hint of patchouli. For some odd reason I smell a bit of leather too? Well, at least it reminds me very slightly of leather.

This is actually a very interesting scent. Looking at the notes I feel like this one would be really overpowering and dark, but it is actually kind of a light, gentle scent. Like a bird in flight? ;)

My SO also likes it, so I think it is a keeper!

-ETA- Much later the amber really blooms. At this point it reminds me quite a bit of Amaterasu v3!

  6. On the skin: Whoa! This is a blast of worn leather! Reminds me of being in the tack room of this stable I used to take riding lessons at. The worn leather of old western saddles with a hint of herbal green. Maybe alfalfa hay? Really this just makes me think of a tack room.

Either way the leather is the main star here. This is definitely more of a worn leather than a chemical leather smell.

I don't think this one is for me. If you like leather though, jump on this one!

  7. On the skin: A brown/green scent. Really interesting. I'm not quite sure which notes I am smelling. Must be the tonka, bergamont, and amber combo? This is a fascinating scent! I don't think I have ever smelled anything quite like this one.

After a bit this one turns pretty sweet/kinda brown musky with a hint of green still hanging around.

Really different, but it isn't something I would wear.

  8. I had a bottle of this once and forgot to review it, so I managed to acquire one again a few years later. Here goes!

On the skin: A sweet, musky, floral scent. I am mostly smelling the rose and can't seem to pick up much of the stargazer lily. It is very pretty, but just not for me. I am going to stick to L'inverno for my stargazer lily!

  9. On the skin: Smells like a sugary plum scent to me! Kinda like Sugar Plum Fairy?

After a bit, I start to smell a bit of the other notes. Can't really pick anything out specifically, but overall it is kind of a dark fruit with hints of floral (rose?). It's still sweet, but after a bit I wouldn't describe this as sugary. Wow, not what I was expecting from a scent called Sugar Moon!

This is pretty, but I don't think it is for me.

  10. On the skin: Definitely patchouli. Not as dirty as other patchouli's I've tried, but there is still a bit of dirtiness to this one. There is also a vanilla sweetness and a slight woodsy smell to this one. Wow, it's good! The dirtiness is tamed a bit by the sweetness and wood.

I definitely wouldn't wear this one to work because of the patchouli, but otherwise it is definitely delightful! I don't think I need two bottles though!

  11. On the skin: That is some juicy strawberry candy. Definitely reminds me of candy or jam rather than fresh strawberries. Wow, I think I am going to take that first statement back! As time goes on this strawberry just turns... juicy! It seems so much more like a real strawberry than before! I can also smell a hint of green grasses that must be the dandelion. This is just juicy and tasty! A bit of honey sweetness peaks out every so often, but really the strawberry is the center of this scent.

The best strawberry blend I have ever worn! Not sure quite yet if it will stick around since I would probably never wear it, but it is really yummy!

  12. On the skin: Definitely patchouli and.... anise leather? Huh. This makes me think of a leather hat that has been worn through dust and dirt with a hint of spicy men's shampoo still clinging to the inside.

I get a bit more of the green matcha on the dry down. Very dirty, green, leather.

Interesting, but it just isn't for me.

  13. On the skin: Icy snow note. Wouldn't quite equate this with mint, but it is close! And a lovely yellow floral note. I'd say this is what I think Snow Bunny should smell like! ;)

I don't think I'll ever really wear something like this, but it is really pretty!

  14. On the skin: Grapefruit, mandarin and pepper? Really interesting and different! Hmmm, it kinda starts to take on an herbal feel after a bit. I could definitely see this being a citrus herbal garden where butterflies like to congregate!

This is the perfect citrus scent, only the herbal/pepper part throws me off a bit. It fades after a bit, but I just don't find the early stages to appealing.

    Off to the swaps.

  15. For the deep scent of this one, I am surprised that the oil is completely clear!

On the skin: Ooooh, that is some yummy cacao! With orange. And woods.... and why is this starting to smell like meat on my skin? Orange chocolate meat? What?!

Sadly this one is not for me. I am really hungry now though!

  16. I had a bottle of this awhile ago, but it just didn't work for me. Well, I managed to end up with this scent in my collection again, and this time... :thud:

On the skin: This is good! It is heavy on the leather, but I just really like it! Leather, sweet musk, and oakmoss for the most part on me.

I think I might need to attack my SO with this at some point. This one will be sticking around for a bit. Especially since watching Supernatural and becoming really attached to the Crowley character. Yay for Mark Sheppard! :yum:

  17. This is one of those scents that I decide to let go, then end up purchasing again later. So now I am going to write a review that will hopefully stop this!

On the skin: Sweet and pretty with a bit of smooth leather. I love how smooth and easy to wear this blend is! No sharpness to this one at all! The sweetness reminds me slightly of vanilla, but it is actually more than just that. Vanilla and honey sweet florals? Very nice!

Really, I think this one is going to stick around this time. Might need to death match it against a few others though!

  18. Not sure if this is the Original or Res....

On the skin: Kinda alcohol smell with vanilla and linen. Weird!

After a bit this just smells like a wispy vanilla linen. The alcohol bit disappeared! It smells like pretty, clean linen. The vanilla does start to blossom.

I like the dry down okay enough, but this one just doesn't wow me as other blends have.

  19. On the skin: Nice smooth leather lavender with a hint of tea. Doesn't smell sharp at all! This is actually a very friendly lavender. I do like how smooth this blend is!

After a bit, it begins to smell slightly sweeter.

Interesting and lovely, but I don't think it is for me.

  20. On the skin: This one is crazy interesting! Orangey resin? I want to say this reminds me slightly of A Wonderful Light. Wow! This blend is gorgeous and lovely while slightly tasty at the same time! :yum:

I can smell the carnation a bit better as time goes on (yummy spicy carnation) and it just gets better and better!

I will be hoarding every single drop! Wow! :wub2: Based on the notes, this one shouldn't work on me (half the listed ingredients are death notes for me), but it is actually so yummy!

  21. On the skin: Black musk is normally a death note for me, so here goes nothing! I definitely smell the black musk here, but it doesn't turn to super sweet powder of doom on me this time. Crazy! Smooth and musky with a blend of resiny sweetness running through. This is an awesome smelling panther!

I really like this one and so does the SO, so I think it is a keeper!
