    My favorite trick-or-treat moments this evening: a little Optimus Prime in a carefully painted cardboard costume was unable to descend the steps without parent assistance, and a wee little owl hugged one of my porch decorations and got her wings caught on it. She then hung there, legs dangling, while her mom burst into giggles.
