I'm looking for a smell to capture my Darkling Antiquarian. Can anyone recommend a scent that will help me smell like a library?

The lurid library. Or if they have high presence, Dee. It doesn't smell like books, it smells like sexy old things.

Its deep and sexy, and for some reason to my nose smells like samhain without the apple. I need a million bottles

This reminds me of my childhood for some reason, its sweet and innocent smelling, but with an edge of sexiness that is wonderful. Its deep and honied and I really like it despite not usually being a fan of fruity BPAL

smells exactly like fruit tea.. I think its smells wonderful, but for some reason is giving me a headache..

Sadly yet another floral on my list.. I'm beginning to wonder if florals and my skin will ever play fair.

For someone without feaky skin, I would imagine this to be lovely..

This is musky, red and soft. The florals play fair on me (unusual) and there's a sugary quality to it. I'm loving this..

This is strong, spicy and surprisingly light and feminine in some ways. It smells so good.. I'm just smelling my wrist over and over.. mmm

Starts out like sun oil (which I've always loved the smell of) and becomes more floral on me with time. its light and feminine and really really nice. I think I have finally found a floral that works.. I'll get back to ya'll

first on: Very green.. kind of clean.

Then masculine aftershave soapy smell.. Green just will not work on me.

This one goes straight into my top ten.

Its resin, musk and sweetness.. I Love it!

I was worried about mama-ji since Florals and I do not get on well.. However I should have tried this earlier. Mama- ji is arm and spicy smelling. She's comforting, like a big warm hug or a mug of milky chai tea. I really like it.

Hmm, i am after some spicy kinds of oils. I love morroco but it seems pretty light. I also love eat me which has a bit of a spice kick to me. I had a quick look but could not find another thread looking for spices. I should probably mention though that anything that is heavily clove is really iffy my skin amps it like all hell!

See, I thought of deathcap, but the reviews seem to talk about coconut a lot.. I'm not sure about that..

I really want a BPAL that has the lovely loamy smell that Zombie and Penny Dreadful start out with, without the soft florals they turn in to.

Basically I want dirt. No extras, but dirt..

Any ideas?

In the Imp/wet: Incense and spice. Its warm and lovely smelling

Drying:The amber is coming through.. OH NOES! Its gone bitter and kind of soapy..

I really really wanted to like this one.. It had everything going for it. But Amber hates me.

Wet/imp: Cocoa

Drying: Slightly spicy chocolate, reminds me of El dia de reyes

Dry: The sandalwood comes out, making a creamy spicy chocolate with sandalwood undertones. Its really nice.

This starts out as dirt.. Spicy dirt. Its rather nice actually. Its the sort of graveyard dirt that always smells spicy. However this lovely smell doesn't last long, and it fades into a light floral on me. I wanted dirt, I got flowers.. Might be better on someone who doesn't amp florals like I do.

This is really rather foody, and slightly spicy. Like Yankee Candle's Home sweet home. It smells really good, and as a room scent this would be the perfect kitchen type smell, however I'm not sure its really 'me'.

In the imp and wet it is just almond. It then then gets much spicier and creamy, and really really sweet.. I smell like boozy syrup.. Yummy

I like this a surprising amount.. I normally head towards very spicy or 'sexy' smelling BPAL, but I really do like this. To me it smells clean and very slightly spicy. Its the sort of thing I might wear in the summer if I wanted to feel clean or floaty..

I wanted this to work, I really really did.. but my body chemistry apparently didn't want it so much.

I was strong soapy smell and not a lot else. And then it was gone without a trace. I can't even smell it lingering on my sleeve or skin, its just utterly disappeared.

I'll try it again when my hormones are less up in the air, then I'll post again..
