  1. This scent is amazing! I was expecting it to smell so much stronger and more masculine. My skin really amplifies leather on me but dry I can barely pick out the leather from the rest of the notes which are blended so beautifully. It's very.... unisex. I originally intended to get this for a guy friend of mine but.... I'm thinking I might just have to keep it....

In the bottle and wet on the skin it was very strong with the musk, tobacco and lime standing out. I was a bit afraid it would stay like this, very masculine and...almost harsh if that makes any sense... But after about 15 minutes the musk, tobacco, and lime began to mellow out and I could start to smell some sweeter more creamy notes coming through. I'm assuming this was the date and coconut but what does my untrained nose know? :P All I know is this is BEAUTIFUL. Unlike anything I've ever worn before. I love it love it love it! And it's definitely a keeper! Ohhh how I will mourn the day my supply runs dry....Since it looks like I will have to reapply often... I wish it lasted longer. I might turn some of this into a spray... see if it lasts longer.

  2. I saw someone else bring this up, but I didn't really see it addressed much. What about the PINK scents? Grapefruit. Cotton candy. Red Apples. Spun sugar. Strawberries. Vanilla. Baby powder. I love Aqualina's, Britney's Fantasy and the like. VERY YOUNG smelling scents..Whimsical and sweet.. Are there any GC scents like these. I know there are tons of LEs (I.E. Pink Phoenix which I'd darn near kill to get my hands on) but they're SO popular and hard to find! And when I do find one it always has "Milk" thrown in there which totally turns SOUR on me (i.e. Pink Moon).... Any suggestions?

  3. I was wondering if anyone else has had an allergy problem with the chocolate scents? I put on some Dreamland the other morning. A few hours later I receiver Candy Butcher in the mail and put that on too. I was fine until I used Candy Butcher. About an hour later I started wheezing and developed a sore throat. FOUR days later my tonsils are still swollen. My doctor isn't sure if it's my allergies or a virus but I tested negative for strep throat so that's out of the question. Could it be the Candy Butcher? I also had prpblems wearing Black Pearl and The Winter of our Discontent. Does anyone know if these have ingredients in common?

  4. I just received my 2007 Snow White yesterday and it is WONDERFUL! Unfortunately I am new to BPAL so I wouldn't know how to it compared to the 2005 version but it is absolutely wonderful! It's a very soft feminine scent. Vanilla, mint, and frozen flowers... literally. It is beautiful. Buy this and buy LOTS of it. You will be kickin yourself in the tush if you don't!

  5. I decided to take back everything I said in my previous review. I originally reviewed this when I was recovering from some vicious virus and I think all of the meds in my system must have somehow altered the smell of this oil on my skin. I was originally very disappointed since the only notes I could pick up were tea, pepper, and milk which soured on my skin so I decided to give it another try today and was much more pleased with it. Wet, it still gave off a milky tea scent which I didn't much care for and couldn't decide what kind of tea it was giving off. Black then green then black with a touch of pepper. After 15 minutes the tea seemed to disappear and I was left with a bright fresh clean linen scent. I love it. I think I am going to layer this over Antique Lace and see what happens and then go buy myself another bottle :P

  6. Dark chocolate syrup, yum! It amazes me how they managed to create a perfume that smells both like a food...and a perfume! It goes on very chocolate but when dry you smell something else... is it floral? Chocolate and flowers? Or is it fruit? I can't tell, but it is BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately it doesn't get along well with my sinuses. :P Bummer. Cause this one is a keeper!

  7. I applied Queen of Sheba to the insides of my elbows today and developed a rash about 30 seconds later. Of the 12 scents I've tried, this is the only one that has affected me in this way.

Guess I'll stick to just running the wand through my hair. :D

"I have fairly sensitive skin but no allergies (that I know of) but the other day I applied Tokyo Stomp about 10 minutes after a bath & it burnt the crook of my elbow"_ Someone else

Just as a rule of thumb you should never apply any perfumed products to your inside of your elbows. The skin is extremely thin there, and the flesh is very delicate. I wouldn't apply perfume there anymore than I would *CERTAIN* other delicate areas. :P

    :D

  8. In Bottle: Hot chocolate and fruit... Lots of fruit... This MIGHT be okay...

Wet on skin: Now it smells spicy. Hey! Where did all the fruit and chocolate go?!

Dry on skin: Yummmm! Just pure chocolate, white chocolate and fruit...I want to eat my arm now... no spice... yipeeee! :P This one makes me smile.

13 is one of the first bottles I've purchased. I've tried at LEAST 70 BPals this week... I know. I'm a newbie. I went a lil nuts :D But so far this is BY FAR my FAVORITE...

    *EDITED hours later*

Oops, this ones gotta go. It turns sour on my skin over time... almost nauseating. Darnit. I thought I'd found a winner.
