Anyone up for a book swap?
Perhaps....
Would we like a themed book swap, or just general?

If you need a co-ringleader to help with the NMBC swap, just Let me know!

Maybe you could have 1 Christmas decor item, or have 1 "CHristmas present", orrrr something. >.o I'm not good with these ideas.

That would be full of awesome!!!

Thanks you Fright - they have both arrived this morning despite my Lab CnS still saying the package is in the US!
Yay! I'm glad! Glad I could be of help. The USPS is uh... really... not all on the same page with everything!
-
I'm wondering if or when I should worry - I got my CnS on 7th April and still haven't got my parcel - it's a UK order - and the tracking page says nothing since it logged it in LA on the 7th.
As a contrast, my BPTP order CnS shows logged out of LA on the 13th and is showing logged as recieved at the UK post office last night.
How long should I leave it before officially worrying, as opposed to the unofficial worrying I'm doing now? They've never taken longer than 6 days from CnS to delivery before now.
The thing I've been told with the USPS, is international shipments will take 7 - 10 business days. It could be that the April 7th CnS is just... movin' slower for some reason, I suppose. Then, the USPS has also told me that some post offices just don't scan packages at all, and so there wouldn't be tracking information for that package. I mailed one thing last month. It took 10 for it arrive and that was US - US shipping, in addition, half of the post offices it went through, didn't scan the package.
Maybe give it a couple more days and then contact the Lab?

I got this today, and mmm..
In the Bottle: CHERRY. OMG, cherry. Maybe alcohol?
Wet On Skin: Cinnamon. Red hots.
Dry On Skin: Spiced cherries.
I love this. Absolutely love it. I'll be hoarding bottles of Hideous Heart. My husband likes it too, which works for me. I keep sniffing my wrist. Mmm... this is soooo good.

For Faiza, I pronounce it fay-ZEE-uh
Edit: Improperly spelled Faiza! Thank Dymphna.

This is so lovely. It's a dry, herbal smelling oil. It's earthy, a little dirty. I love this. LOVE. It's in my top ten.
-
I don't get grape, or bubble gum out of this. It's very.. soft on me. Very.. faint. Only lasted maybe 3 hours or so. I got a pale kind of floral out of it. Kind of a maybe aquatic to it? So lovely for the summer I think. So very lovely for the summer. I adore this one. I'm glad I've got a second imp of it headed my way.

I love me some clove. Hell, I love the spicy smells. I was dying to try this. I ripped into my package and coveted the tiny bottle. This is so nice, and so just.. yum. I could bathe in this. It's just so, warm and, kind of cozy? This is one of my favourites. I did pair it with some Saw Scaled Viper. Luscious. Delicious. So tasty.
-
I'm not sure how to describe this. It's warm. Spicy. Slightly mysterious. A touch creepy, maybe? It smells so odd. I remember thinking, "Mm.. smells nice.. who is that..?" and then I blushed like an idiot and realized it was the Mme. Moriarty. I don't know how to put into words how this smells, but it smells.. nice. I do love my impie of this..

I love Snake Oil. I love mint smells. This was the perfect combination for me. I almost wet myself when I put it on. It's cool on the skin. It's very minty and vanilla-y on me. It's sooo lovely. It doesn't last very long, sadly. Not near the stay-power that Saw Scaled Viper has, but still, sooo lovely. Soft, and faint.

This one got quite a mixed reaction from me. I wanted it badly. It came in. I sniffed it in the bottle. My thoughts? "Christ on a cracker! Wtf?! EW! NO! Why?! I might cry.. maybe I imagined it.. *small sniff* OH! NO! I DID NOT! Is that.. that.. WOOD?! WOOD?! Did Beth stuff an invisible tree in this sucker?" I promptly stuck it back in with the impies and twitched.
I picked it up tonight, at, 1:10 in the morning. I figured if it's horrible, only me and the boyfriend would know. Wait, no, just me. He's glued to Neverwinter Nights 2. Just me. I put a little on my wrist. The cassia wafted up to my nose and I got twitchy. I held my breath. Bit my tongue. I held my arm away from my body. I waited five minutes, and slowly, carefully pulled my wrist up to my nose. It smelled GOOD. VERY spicy. VERY cinnamony. I LIKE this. This is NICE. Mmm. Yum. I may defenitly have to invest in a 5ml!
Actually, it goes quite nice with The Smiling Spider.
ETA: For spelling. Shame on me. Even with spell check.

I sniffed the bottled and crinkled my nose. I remember thinking, "I dunnoh about this one.. I guess it'll teach me to not buy oils just because I like the NAME and the DESCRIPTION. Not based off the notes I like in the bottle..! I'm glad I don't work today.." I put it one, surprisingly, it was nice. It's very floral-y on me. Very green. Definately nice for the spring. I think I'll be keeping this one..

I fell in love with this one right away. Cherry and cloves. Nothing better. And it is ALL cherry and spice on me. It's a warm, dark smell. It lasts for hours on my skin. This is one I'd buy a big bottle of.
-
I was very hesitant to try this, because in the bottle it smells very masculine. But, on my person, it doesn't smell too masculine. I definately get a pine smell and the cloves out of this one. I don't think I'll buy a big bottle of it, but I will probably keep an imp or two of it around.
-
This is the first imp I tried. I don't get the food-y smell out of it. I don't really get the vanilla. It's all spice with me. This oil completely transforms my energy when I where it. I find myself being a little more outgoing, a little more adventurous. A bit more confident. I adore this oil.
My coworker says I smell like "old lady." However, she prefers highly commercialized perfume such as.. ahm.. "Cool Water".

This is the one that got me hooked on aquatic smells. And minty smells. It's definately a unique smelling perfume. I enjoy it so much. After I put it on my skin, it gives me this kind of icy feeling. And in the hot days, it feels sooo good. I love the mintyness of it. I kind of fades off to a powdery smell after a few hours. My only sadness with this perfume, is that it truly doesn't have much staying power. No matter how much I slather. But, I like it how it is. I think if it were to be altered to have more staying power, it'd mess with the scent.
-
In the bottle.. it is so faint, but so, so lovely.
On me, all I get is cherry. Which I'm fine with. I love cherries. Mmm. My coworker, says this smells like "old lady" on me. Pft. Whatever. She thinks "Snake Oil" smells like old lady on me. I like wearing this one a lot. It's such a light scent, too.. I figured I would fade away from my skin in no time. But it doesn't, it lingers. Just when I think it's gone and I need to reapply, I get a whiff of it.
-
I sniffed this in the bottle a couple times. It smelled nice. It smelled too masculine for me though. I always tucked it away. Finally, on Friday, I only worked a 3 hour shift. I said, "Well, screw it. It's only 3 hours. We'll give this a whirl." OH I AM SO HAPPY I DID! It smells sooo nice on me. Herbally and woodsy. I adore it. Mmmm.
I don't get the minty smell that other people do, though..

I checked out the CnS thread. I looks like a few CnS confirmations were sent today, but not much. Also seems like most everyone's waited 14 - 25 days to receiver the CnS confirmation. Today was the 20th day for me. So, hopefully not much longer! I keep trolling my email box.
-
So, I have a question. I placed my order on 9/5. CCNow said it was shipped on 9/15. It's now 9/25. I am in the States. Will I still receive a CnS notification? Or is that for international buyers only? Should I believe CCnow when it was my order was shipped?
*edit* Sorry! Almost forgot. My credit card was charged on 9/15, which is when CCNow said my order was shipped. I'm also on the East coast, so I do know it'll take a bit longer for my package to get to me. CCNow said it was shipped priority mail, though.
