  1. Veil sounds like a good idea (via the name) but this is one strong, weird scent.  It's very frightening, like walking through a moldy old mansion.  I need to try it on, of course, to see how it is on drydown, but the smell coming out of the bottle really freaked me out and made me jumpy and unsettled for the rest of the night.

That scent sounds right up my alley; I've got to try it next time I send in an order! :P

And having Imp's Ears as party favors sounds like a brilliant idea ~ you could put a few gender-neutral ones in a little basket in the middle of the table or if you know who is sitting where place one you think they might like as a place setting. Having them as favors would sure beat those damn little bells you see wedding after wedding.

  2. sounds great, elizabeth, and once again, we all appreciate your hard work and superior business/work ethic.

Oh, I second this completely ~ your work ethic, customer service and devotion to the quality of your product and consideration of your customers is second-to-none.

Everything you're doing is appreciated! Please don't work yourself into the ground or into a flu relapse.

  3. I would go for it anyway; it is a very thoughtful and lovely gesture on your part, and you have impecible taste for choosing such a lovely scent too! :-) Could be the spirit attraction to it had to do with lilac being primarily a women's single-note scent for many, many years. And it does linger, in a haunting type way!

  4. My guess is with a limited edition scent (or a limited edition item of any sort), it makes it more unusual (a stand-out), more collectible, and something that may not be produced any other time of year (get it while its hot). However, popular demand does make limited edition items come back so more power to the people!

    :P

  5. Conducting a little informal poll ....

Imagine a ghost or an appartion coming through a room (male or female, don't matter) or a haunted, deserted mansion....

which scents have you found to have a spooky, haunting, or ghostly aura, either with you or with someone else near you who's smelled it?

For me, its been Phantasm (due to the airy, cool feeling and scent of the scent).

  6. Beth, you deserve the rest and the vacation time away so try not to worry about anything (if you can keep from it) while you're away. Just think about how much you've been able to put up with (and stay a survivor!) and then remember that nothing is going to happen that you can't handle. I know that's easier said than done but your pets, the orders, the shipments, and the lab will all be fine. Enjoy your break, girl, and remember, we love you! :P

  7. Couldn't say it better myself; excellent description of this oil. It definately is complex; very woody. I detect a hint of sweetness to it -- overall it is reminiscent of lingering in a dark, wooded area on a moonlit night. One of my favorites! :P

  8. I work with Excel primarily at work and have dabbled in Access; I'll be happy to build you a database in either one! IMO, Excel is easier for just entering data and sorting it; with Access, you have more flexibility in adding more data and looking at it (kinda like pulling an electronic card on a person). Let me know the main headings (like name, address, previous orders, etc) and I'll go to work on it.
