Was Night Circus not the best book ever. Just...everything.

I had a hard time with Night Circus, actually. I wanted to adore it - everything about it felt like it was written for me. But I had a really hard time getting into it, in that "if this book were not so perfectly me, I wouldn't even pass page 50" kind of way. I did end up enjoying it, but it never quite felt like the book I wanted it to be, I guess.
