There is another Ebay update from Puddin. What appeals to you there?

Moon of Small Spirits, Yuki-Onna, and to a lesser extent Snow White

What are your thoughts on J.R.R. Tolkein?

LOVE

If you answered that you would like recipes, are there any national or ethnic cuisines you prefer or don't prefer?

Love: Indian, Mexican, Thai, Japanese in particular

Not sure if there's anything I don't really like? But Italian and Chinese food is something I'm not particularly wild about. Also, I can get tons of authentic Chinese & Taiwanese recipes from the people in my building.

Do you like musicals? What have you seen? What do you want to see? Any you'd like to own?

I hate musicals!!

other than books/cds/dvds are there any "things" that you collect or symbols which you have an affinity for?

I have no collections to speak of, save the "functional" stuff like books (even those I don't have much of unless they are science textbooks or non-fiction science stuff, sad but true!), DVDs, and CDs. I blame this on moving around so much that it's just impractical to collect things. I sort of have the beginnings of a collection of Hefeweizen glasses (4 varying ones) and teapots (2) if you could call it that.

Are you partial to any kind of comedy?

No, not really. I'm picky and my labmates find my sense of humor weird. Like, I loathed Napolean Dynamite because it was so completely Not Funny. Borat was both Trying Too Hard and just damn obnoxious. They can't believe I don't find Team America funny, but I just found it painfully Trying Too Hard and totally stupid. Same with Beerfest.

Do you play any musical instruments? Which ones? If not, are there any you'd like to learn? What styles of music do you play, and are you interested in learning any different styles?

I play flute, guitar, and piano.. all once upon a time though. Currently I only have access to my flute and guitar. I haven't played in a long time, mostly because of grad school stress, but I keep meaning to pick them up and play now that I've passed my quals. I can't remember what styles, I think slightly more contemporary/quirky music? Beginning level stuff for guitar though, but more intermediate/advanced for flute if anything.

Does my witchee like hats, a floppy summer sun hat or something more stylish? Would you like a hand knit cap or hat?

Oh man, hats! <3 I love hats, but I only own beanies really. They're great for colder weather, or when I go diving on the coast and it's all windy. I would love a nice sun hat or something stylish, but I'm not really all that sure I look good in hats other than beanies.

What kind of shopper are you? Do you make a budget? Planner, or compulsive? Do you like to buy what's new, special offers, only the usual?

It's a mix of plan and compulsion. I budget a set amount for each month "for play" and when I want to buy something from those funds I agonize over it for a few hours before deciding a final yay or nay. It's hard to say what I normally buy: sometimes it's special offers, sometimes new things, and sometimes old favorites. Depends on my mood, I guess?

What styles of jewelry do you like? Bold and funky? Delicate and dainty? Short necklaces, long ones, chokers? Bracelets or anklets?

BOLD AND FUNKY all the way! Shorter necklaces are nice, like 14-16". Bracelets rock. Can't wear anklets with these shoes, and can't wear sandals at work, so I've kind of been done with wearing anklets.

Is anyone else having trouble getting motivated to do the things your supposed to do? Motivation? What's that?? I'm so bored stiff my mind has gone numb and I can't clean the kitchen like it desperately needs doing. And my clothes need to be picked up off the floor and put back in the closet. I have nothing else to do, and no motivation to do the only things I have to do around here.

Are there any etailers you haven't tried yet but would like to be enabled (e.g., a company you haven't tried but would like recommendations from your witch, based on your likes and dislikes)?

There are a lot that I would not mind being enabled with. Uh... Villainess, Haunt, Lilypad Bathworks stand out to me. But if there's a good product or good company that you'd recommend I wouldn't mind being enabled with some of their products at all.

Do you like coffee and/or wine?

I'm not really a coffee person. I do <3 wine, but I can be kind of picky. I grew up in one wine country and moved to another.

Who out there is equally challenged and would appreciate icons/banners as witchy gifts?

Not really.

Lip balm?

Sure, though I'm not that into stuff in the jars. I don't like getting certain stuff on my hands (you should see me eat pizza) and it gets under fingernails. Strangely, dirt does not bother me and I'm totally not germaphobic or in other ways OCD.

A witch wants to cheer you up. What are we cheering you up from? In other words, what are the most pressing problems you're facing right now?

I feel kind of bad whining about any of my problems, since other people are obviously having major pants and nothing I've got compares to that. But anyway, here's what's up in my little fishbowl: I'm in kind of a funk lately, where the smallest things will irritate me and I just feel very low in general. And anything that is not work related feels like a huge burden to me right now. I've got the usual major grad student stress going on, but that's nothing new. I had what was actually a good talk with my boss/mentor, but then had a relapse into bad thinking and have now totally convinced myself that he's just messing with me and he means the opposite of what he said. And then there's my coworker who has regressed from a mature adult into a whiny, self-centered kid, but that's a whole 'nother rant. I've also been feeling very lonely lately. And the whole being single thing sometimes, like now when I'm feeling low, has been bothering me lately (and I'm frustrated because I really have no outlet to meet other singles. All my friends have gotten into serious relationships since I/we started grad school). My plans for this weekend fell through, so I'm pretty much abandoned here on my own over the weekend and it hurts a bit. I could go on and on about petty rants like this, because I'm kind of irritable and slightly paranoid at the moment, but I'll just stop there. I think those are the highlights. >.>

If you are a dog lover, or gigantic dog nerd like I am, would you like any breed-related items from this site? If so, which breed(s)?

Uh, I lost the link? Or it got lost somewhere in the thread. But anyway I <3 huskies, especially Siberians. And I will forever love collies, having grown up with one. (Whoever was calling for lab love -- I love labs and my friend's especially, but I don't have the same personal connection as I've had with huskies and collies.) I don't have a dog though, so please no things for dogs.

What makes you happiest about summer?

Honestly, I hate summer, especially since I moved here. Even if I put on sunscreen and reapply often, my skin feels hot and itchy, though at least I don't burn. And it's uncomfortably hot! As someone from Florida said, our summers are like winters up north, where the weather is so bad (but hot instead of frozen) that you just don't go outside. You can say the same thing about Cali. It's just too damn hot for me to enjoy being outdoors (110-115F). I think I spend far, far less time outside in the summer than I do any other season. Going anywhere is a real pain, since my car doesn't have AC and I feel like passing out sometimes, and you can forget biking. I guess the only nice thing I can think of is that the vast majority of undergrads go home for the summer, so the town empties out and it's peaceful and quiet. 00000288.gif The novelty of "sunshine" has gone way down since it's sunny pretty much year round here (which is actually kind of freaky) but at least during the rest of the year the temperatures are tolerable.

What are your thought on World Market?

I don't have much experience. I really can't say.

non-melting candies....what are your favorites?

Umm... I'm not sure really. There were these green tea latte candies at work for the past few days that were tasty? Mostly just hard candies I suppose.

Have you any desire to read Hannibal?

Sure.

If your witch goes to Convergence (or is bestest friends with someone, same thing), is there anything you'd love to have?

Please bring me something... anything... and I will love you forever and ever and ever. Also, when/where is convergence?

Are you freaking out over any of the discontinued scents, dear fellow Witches?

I think I mentioned before that I've really wanted to try Marianne and to a lesser extent Eris.

For those candy loving witchees. Are there any 3 that u love and would like more of?

SW is going to kill my diet

But uh... caramels, chocolate, little candies so I can NOT eat them all at once

And, are there any 3 that u just cannot stand and would not like any of?

Anything with raisins. Raisins are EVIL.

Do you have an electric stove, and would you like a bowl and tarts to use the residual heat (and for extra safety)?

I have a gas stove.

What is your favorite classic fairy tale or children's story ?

Uh, is it bad that I can't really recall anything? I think it is bad. I've always liked anything involving mermaids/sirens, but maybe that's because I'm an ocean girl.

What of the summer update (Egyptian, Lawn Ornaments, etc.) appeals most to you?

So far, of what I've tried, I really like the Pinwheel scent. But the description and reviews have me thinking that I may also fall in love with Labores Solis, though I've not gotten my decant yet. I'll post up in reviews what I think of it and you can gauge from there. I also looove Smoky Moon 09 and really wish I'd gotten 2 bottles instead of just one. I'm going to covet that one like crazy. I'm excited for the next moon, too. I can't wait to see what it is. And uh... BPTP warrior queens, too. Semiramis and Tomoe Gozen, in about that order.

What's that one thing you keep meaning to get but keep forgetting or passing over?

So I've got this Italian charm bracelet and over the years I've gotten charms, enough that with the charms + original bracelet links I've almost got enough for a second bracelet. Except that second bracelet is one link too short of being comfortable to wear. It never really pops into my head when I'm out to get another charm or even just an extra link ("blank" one is this kind of chevron design).

Puddin' posts ebay sales of older stuff every now and then - what of the current lot are you dying for?

In order: Bakeneko, Mi-Go

Do you tweet?

No.

What kind of mythology are you interested in?

Lovecraftian... but honestly, I'm not really quite sure. I generally like hearing ancient myths, though I'm not really sure how I would define that.

With all this talk of chocolate, do you prefer milk or dark?

Depends on what it's paired/flavored with. But either is fine and tasty!

Which flavors are you interested to try from the Chocolate Research Facility?

ZOMG...

Honey Melon w/ Cassia, Ginger w/ Ginger Crystal, Cinnamon, Yam w/ Almond, Sichuan Pepper, White or Black Sesame, Rose w/ Rose Petal, Nutty Crystal ... pr3etty much in that order of interest

Do you wear makeup or nail polish? Need brushes, containers, storage, mani/pedi supplies? What colors and brands do you like?

I've been trying to get into makeup, but I'm just not that good at it. I could use not only some good make-up, but lots and lots of advice. I'm not one for nail polish or pedi stuff at all. I'm a fan of make-up that looks good with my eyes (dark blue) or just looks fun/quirky. I wish I knew if I were "warm" or "cold"...

Do you like shiney hanging porch decorations like windchimes or those things that spin and swirl in the wind?

Shiiiiiny!! And cool.

Hair adornments?

My hair is really thin and kind of short, so I'm not sure I can really wear much of anything. Those spirally thingies look kind of nice, but again, not sure and I'm kind of picky about charms I suppose. Insects are Ok, but not butterflies, and I don't like hearts.

Is there any infomercial product you're dying to try even though you know it probably sucks?

I don't know about infomercial products. I haven't watched any in forever and haven't had TV in over a year.

Is there something that would offend you if you received it in your mail/gift/email)? (as in profanity, a bad words in an email/card/music ... or a card or something with a scantily dressed man/woman pictured on it, crude/immature humor tshirts, etc ...)

My sense of humor generally means I don't get offended by much of anything. Even as a vegetarian, I kind of want the "Meat is Murder, Tasty tasty murder" shirt from threadless because hell, it's FUNNY. But if it's something wearable or usable, i.e. shirts or bags or such, it'd be nice to keep it work-safe. But I won't be offended, just careful about where I take certain things.

What do you like to snack on?

Uhmm... I'm mostly a fan of fruit and even dried fruit, except for raisins. I HATE raisins. I try to not have junk food around like chips or cookies cause they're fattening and unhealthy, but I do like those.

What is the color scheme you use most when you decorate?

I have deja vu on this question. Wasn't it part of the questionnaire? Anyway, short answer: dark reds.

Who is your favorite artist? What are some of your favorite pieces of their work?

Nothing comes to mind.

Are you a candles person, incense person, or just a BPTP spritzer for room scents?

I've never tried BPTP spritzers. Mostly I just use whatever is handy: candle, plug-in scent thingie, air freshener, etc.

What are your favorite websites (besides this one, and the online shops you listed in your questionnaire)?

xkcd.com, phdcomics.com, ... yeah I can't really think of any others.

If you could make your perfect scent (or at least most desired at the moment!) what would be in it?

Ummmm.... cinnamon, vanilla, maybe a bit of mint? I'd like something spicy and exotic, but also strange. Maybe this is why I wear Velvet Cthulhu all the time anymore. Speaking of which, that is pretty much the perfect scent for me. I wonder what a tiny bit of cinnamon would do to it though.

So would anyone like to receive some original, or very much loved recipes from his/her witch?

Recipes are awesome!

List things you DO NOT need any more of:

I have a shit ton of soap, but I can't help but love it and want to hoard it and try as many different kinds as possible. But I do already have a lot of lush's solid shampoo, so probably no more solid shampoo products of any sorts.

What kinds of crafts does everyone either enjoy making or enjoy getting? Do you have a certain type of handmade item that you love to collect?

I like knitted things -- hats, scarves, armwarmers, socks, etc. I cannot knit. Jewelry is also awesome, so are boxes. I'm not into dolls though. Homemade bath/beauty products would be flat out awesome. Basically just about anything I can't make myself, which is... a lot. I do want to try my hand at lotion/massage bar making, in which case I'll probably offer up any excess.

what would you think of hand-dyed items?

Honestly, I'm not so wild about that in terms of shirts, pants, etc. unless it really is more of a variable marbling and less like tie-dye. But scarves, skirts, and socks would be great in such patterns.

So, I hear you don't like lacy wraps! How do you feel about hand-knit socks?

But I do like lacy wraps. And handknit anything is good including socks.

Are there any of the BPTP bath oils you adore (particularly ones that you cannot get anymore). What about the room sprays?

I've been eyeing the Semiramis WQ package, but I'm thinking my bank account isn't going to permit that before they go down. Although Tomoe Gozen is also looking pretty good. But, the Luxuria looks mighty damn tasty and super sexy and nummy. I've never even tried a BPTP bath oil though they do appeal to me, but other than what is currently on their website, I don't know of any of their past oils, so I can't really comment about them.

Emu oil -- I'm a vegetarian, but the idea of emu oil kind of squicks me out. But honey and/or milk are fine. Leather is a no-no.

How many potential witchees have an iPod, or download MP3s?

I have an iPhone and an old nano, and I looooove music. I do download MP3s fairly regularly or get a new CD now and then. And mixes are awesome since, especially ATM, I'm really looking for new music cause my current selection is turning stale on me.

Would anyone like bath bombs or bath melts scented with one of their favorite Bpal scents?

Yes, yes, yes.

Would you like homemade cinnamon buns or sticky buns?

I would like treats, but I'm on a diet.

Is there anyone here that likes Hello Kitty or any other Sanrio Characters?

Nope.

If you were to make a seasonal mix CD for this summer, what would you name it?

"bubblefish's music mix" icon_twisted.gif It's much more fun if the contents are a mystery. Of course, there would be some leaflet enclosed to tell you who sang each song, but if you just look at a CD labeled "bubblefish's music mix" there's no telling what you've got or what the song order is. It could be different every time even!

Do you collect dolls or miniatures? What kind? Do you like to get new clothes or items for them?

Nope, no dolls. No miniatures. And I don't have any interest in them at all.

Are there any single notes (likely non bpal) that anyone is dying to have/try?

Maybe a group of musks (black, red, white, green, etc.) for comparison to each other. That might be a bit of fun. Other than that, I can't really think of anything that stands out to me.

net flick or the likes gift subscriptions? A month of Netflicks vs a DvD?

I already have netflix.

Adorable Japanese characters?

No interest.

My fiance sent me an early dvd rip of Coraline that he was given (pretty sure it's not been released yet, but I sometimes have a hard time keeping up) and I was wondering if anyone would like a copy of it?

Coraline never really struck me as a movie that I particularly wanted to see.

Pets: What do you have, and do they need/want anything?

I have a single cat. I'm not really sure what he needs or wants, since he kind of just turns everything into a toy, like some tiny kabuki make-up brush that makes it rounds from bathroom to front door and back. I can say with definite authority that he does not like treats at all. It's baffling and bizarre. He really likes those feather/dangly toys and his laser pointer. I have pictures of his play structure in the pet thread and that could possibly use toys/additions.

Does anyone play video games? What platform(s)? Are there any new or vintage games you would like?

Yes!

I have: Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS Lite, Gamecube, and Playstation 2. I'm a big fan of final fantasy and other RPGs -- Legend of Symphonia, Shadow Hearts & Koudelka (all the games! though I need a PS memory stick to save progress on the latter), Zelda, etc. I'm a little behind on what's up in the DS world though, as I've mostly been a PS2 fan lately. I've been looking around for Ico on PS2 as of late, though it's hard to find.

Twilight fans, would you be interested in any products from this Etsy seller?

Not a twilight fan at all.

Are you in need of decanting supplies, wand caps, or other scent-related paraphernalia?

I'm not a decanter, but I could definitely use some wand caps for my 5mls

Would it bother you if you are not the first person to receive the same gift? Imagine a Witch who always sends her favourite book, for example.

Not at all. Regifted, default gift, blanket gift, or whatever you call it... a gift is a gift and makes me happy.

Based on Prior Carnivale act prototypes...which one are you truly excited about?

I'm not even sure what this question is asking me about :wub2:

How would you feel about homemade jelly/jam from home-grown berries?

Homemade dill pickles? Made from cukes, beans, snap peas, baby zucchini?

OMG NUM... pickles... mmmmmmmmmmmmm

(um... how do you make dill pickles from beans?)

Salt soap bars (soap made with a large quantity of salt, like salt-scrub-in-a-bar)?

Ooh, sounds good. Also, those deodorant salt rocks seem pretty damn awesome.

Does your feline like catnip?

I think he does.

would my future witchee like to receive steampunk style jewelry?

Yanno, I think that steampunk style jewelry (esp lorizav's!) is pretty damn awesome and cool. I'm just not sure that I can pull it off on a daily basis, so I would be a bit worried that it would get neglected, which is why I've never bought steampunk style jewelry before. But who knows, we're an eccentric bunch, my coworkers think I could pull off a mohawk on personality alone, and I might fall in love with it and have to wear it every day.

Anyone reading an amazing book right now?

No :( currently looking for something good

What socially respsonsible site would you recommend to ALL Witches?

No idea.

What is your favorite anime, or if you don't like that what is your favorite animated series?

I like Slayers a lot, and that's pretty much the only one I'm really a fan of anymore. Other stuff is kind of 'eh' and give or take, maybe interesting or entertaining but not really something that I'm all that into. No favorite animated series. I don't know what is "hot" out there because I don't have a TV.. well I do for games/DVDs but no cable.

Do you like villians that are funny because they are meant to be, or are you like me and love the villian that just can't seem to get his evil schemes to work?

I like villains that are truly evil and nefarious and are not jokes or used for comedic relief. Sylar on Heroes is teh awesome.

Tea. How do you feel about it?

I like tea, especially interesting and tasty flavors. But I don't drink much of it. I feel like it's too hot around here to be drinking a cup of hot tea, no matter how delicious. I'm not a fan of cold/iced tea. Also, in the mornings it's not always practical to make and drink before I leave since I get ready quickly and it usually only starts to cool to a drinkable temp when I want to leave (and it's often already in the mid-70s at 8am) and taking it with me on my bike has always been a hassle. So I often don't drink tea. However, I would stash it away until winter or a scuba trip (I'm going for a week this summer) and drink it then. But hot tea in the summer? Ehhh, not something I'm all that wild about.

Posters, yes or no?

No, if only because I'll never get to hanging them up. >.>

What are your favorite animals? Or, what animals resonate strongly with you?

Top animal is definitely turtle. Got turtle stickers on my car, turtle car seat covers, turtle airfreshener, turtle tattoo.... yeah. I <3 turtles! I think in 2nd place would be cats of all sorts and sizes but I've got a special spot for ocelots. I also like aquatic critters of all sorts: fish, shark, whales, nudibranchs, etc. Though in the top 2 (after turtles) of aquatic animals would probably be octopi and nudibranchs. I hate birds.

Are there any historical figures you are particularly interested in - say, that you'd enjoy reading about, or movies, etc.?

Please no more Charles Darwin. Or Stephen J Gould. Unless they're mentioned in some other book as you know, contributors, but not the main focus. Umm... off the top of my head I am thinking Stephen Hawking and Marie Curie.

What, if anything, are you earwormed with right now?

Handlebars by Flobots, courtesy of gypsyjolie via the dollar store swap

What scent are you wearing right now, if any?

Today's (6/24/09) was Velvet Cthulhu on me and Smoky Moon 09 in my scent locket.

6/25/09 -- Velvet Cthulhu all over; scent locket at home because this glass pendant goes better with my shirt.

Beer

I <3 microbrews. Lights and darks are tasty, but hoppy stuff/IPA generally not so much. Seriously, I'm quite open to trying just about anything. I'm from the PNW, so, yeah, beer connoisseur. :) I prefer variety to just one specific blend.

Are you obsessed with honey? If so, is there a particular kind you like best? Spun honey, flavored honeys, certain types of honey....etc.

I like honey, but I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with it. I think honeycomb itself would be interesting, as would flavored honeys.

What are your favorite materials? Or material things? Some people like jewelry, some like woods, some plants...

Glass and water are my favorite materials. I also like aromatic woods, like cedar. I have a guitar made of cedar and it smells simply divine. I'm also a fan of glass jewelry: ear plugs, pendants, etc. Maybe it's because it reminds me somewhat of water, especially if it has little imperfect ripples on its surface. But mostly because it's just beautiful. I also like fleece-y things.

Is there anything you've been wanting to learn that your witch might be able to help you with?

Soap making? Bath bomb/melts/fun goodies? I'm not really sure what can be done from afar though. But hey, recipes with tips and comments are always good things! I frequently run into the problem, both at work and at home, that I'm baffled by the appearance or consistency of something.

Who knits? Do you also spin and dye? What supplies, that you wouldn't buy for yourself, would you just love to have for that activity?

I don't knit and in fact I've given up on it. I don't spin or dye at all either. And I've really got little interest in either.

Do you like coffee? Whole bean or ground? Bold/Medium/Mild roast?

Not particularly. I also do not have a coffee maker.

Are there any other knitted goods you might like? Lap blanket? Fingerless gloves? Arm warmers? Little knitted animals? Silk scarf? Head band? Wrist cuff? Dish clothes?

Dish clothes?! Anything handknitted should be worn proudly, not relegated to decorating or drying dishes. I'd love ANYTHING handmade that I can wear.

Are there any phobias you have that you absolutely, positively, do NOT want anything from your witch referencing?

I'm mildly afraid of heights, that's about it. I'd be more impressed than upset if I got something that in some way referenced that artistically.

Are you a good witch or a bad witch?

Oh my, I could take this so many ways....

What kind of a car do you drive and would you want something you could use in your car? Rear view mirror charms, steering wheel covers (a new thinkg for the knitters ), car blessing medicine bags

I have an old brown boxy sedan. It rocks. It's pretty much all personalized and full of stuff. I've got a rear view mirror dangly (hemp bracelet w/ bells) and a manta ray wrapped around the top of it and then some funky pink frog guarded by a little army guy (he's my security system) and all sorts of stickers and decals already. As one of my students said, and a fellow instructor too, the car feels like me.

Do you want to know when you have something coming in the mail, or would you rather it be a complete surprise?

It'd be nice to get a nudge if it's a day or two after something should have arrived, simply because sometimes stuff doesn't make it to the mailboxes but to the apartment office and except for the month of December they do not let us know if anything has arrived. I think we're supposed to telepathically know there is a package waiting for us there. More on this below in the next question...

What is your mailbox situation?

I live alone and have my own mailbox. There are also parcel lockers for them to put things in and then we get a key in our own little mailbox. However, sometimes they do not put them in there, I suppose because they are full or big, and instead take it to the apartment office but they do not put a note to inform us. In addition to being uninformed about packages, the office is also open at the most retarded hours -- 9:30-5:00 M-F. So anyone who actually has a job can never make it there and they must be the only complex that is not open for at least 3 hrs on the weekends. My friend lives next to me, so if something arrives for me that comes to the office I can maybe have him pick it up since he works close to where we live and has a girlfriend who works nights. Sometimes Fedex/UPS delivers things straight to the office, sometimes they do that and leave a note on the door, and other times they just tuck it in behind one of the bikes next to my porch. Most often though, stuff just gets put in my mailbox and/or parcel locker.

How are you doing for BPAL storage? Need any boxes?

A lot of the undergrads moved out of my apartment complex for the summer and I found a desk sitting out in the discard pile of furniture. I brought it home with the help of my friend and have arranged it in my bedroom as a sort of make-up table/junk accumulation point. :wub2: So all my BPAL is on it right now: "rares" in the cabinet and ones for everyday on a shelf and my imps are all in a little bowl. I could use some boxes or other organization form for my BPAL goodies. :)

Is there any place you've visited where you feel like you left your heart there?

Konstanz, Germany. I lived there for a year and miss it SO MUCH.

What one item would you just love to have that is made by a Switch Witch?

This is going to be totally unhelpful, but I'm not really sure. I don't really have a comprehensive list of who makes what and from what I've seen most people on here make beautiful things that I'd love to have. And anything handmade is always awesome! I am quite envious of syrenemyst's jewelry and boxes, I'll admit (especially that variation no 3 and boxes). But I like maille jewelry (actually, would really love some awesome maille necklace or bracelet!), knitted stuff, and other handmade goodies... so I don't know that there's anything I just have to have, but I do like a lot of the handmade items people around here make. I feel like such a talentless hag compared to them.

Is your abode a palace covered in fur, a disaster area ,or a neat freaks delight?

Right now it is: :wub2:

I'm afraid to admit, there's a strange smell coming from the kitchen, possibly because there is a pile of dirty dishes. The coffee table was clean 2 days ago, but now looks the same as it did before I cleaned. And uh, the contents of my closet are on my bedroom floor because I started to go through to sort and tidy things up, but then lost interest and it's sat around for the past 2 weeks. There's no fur laying about though, cause my cat doesn't really seem to shed that much. But yeah, it's one big chaotic area. I really should do something about it, but it's already completely out of hand.

What is your favorite latin or faux latiny phrase?

Eh, I don't have one.
