Q/A from Swap:
1) What are your favorite colors to wear, or for warm blankets, socks, etc ?  Jewel tones, black/grey, purple/green, celestial colors. If it’s Xmas-y I do a woodsy green/red/cream or vintage pink/green/red  2) What sizes do you prefer for upper body and lower body clothing, feet, etc?  Hats/mittens/gloves -medium. Socks I wear size 8.5 shoes. No knee highs as they never fit.   3) Are there types of fibers you have trouble with against your skin?
Definitely no micro fibers. I also don’t like the acrylic socks. For socks cotton or wool are best. I do like the fuzzy slipper socks. Especially if they have the grips on the bottom since I have hardwood stairs.   4) Would you like a small handmade faux wreath made out of thrifted floral stems? If so what colors would you enjoy? No thank you. I don’t have a place to put one that my cat won’t try and eat it   5) Would you like a hand painted kitty ornament? If so, is there a particular kitty you would like it modeled after? Please attach a photo. Sure! I have a black cat with yellow eyes named Chloe   6) Also would you appreciate some organic cocoa butter? I use it for my dry winter skin. Yes, I love coco butter 7) Do you have any interest in any of the Yule products from Paintbox Soapworks?  Wax melts or sugar scrub - Comfort and Joy, Sozzled, O! Tannenbaum, In Dulce Jubilio 😎 Do you have any interest in a  mystery puzzle game that can be played solo or multi-player? Usually these involve murder and a variety of logic puzzles. This would be played through, but carefully so as to allow for replay by you and yours.

Gnome Sweet Gnome Questions

Would you like to receive Girl Scout cookies and if so, what kind is your favorite? I would love GS cookies! Thin Mint for life ?  Tagalongs and Do-si-dos are also favorites. I’m a GS alumni myself ?   Would you like a Gnome amigurumi?  (smol knitted or crocheted gnome)   Sure! -- if so, What gnome colors appeal to you?  (three-four colors please) Surprise me. I like gnomes of all colors ? -- do any of these patterns appeal to you (I pretty much have all of them including the ones for humans but I'm not going to make a colorwork sweater for you, sorry.  I *might* make a hat or mitts if you like grey, blue, and red as shown because I already have that yarn.) I have those patterns to but no time to make them. I love them all so pick for me   How about Gnome tea towel(s)? I love and use tea towels Would you like a cross stitched gnome picture / ornament? I would love one that can hang on the wall   What's your favorite way to experience Nature?  A hike in the woods, a day lounging on the beach, only as screen savers on your computer? I love going camping, swimming in lakes/ocean (the ocean is my fav but too cold up here in the PNW), hiking    what kinds of safety and environmental concerns need to be considered for your gnome so they can safely reside at your home? will they live outdoors so they need to be weatherproof (for what kind of weather)? will they be indoors and need to be pet or child-safe? do they need to be very tiny or capable of hanging on a wall? 
I live in Seattle area so it rains quite a lot so any gnomes meant for outdoors need to be weatherproof. I like tiny/small gnomes and gnomes than can hang on a wall   How do you feel about zombie or other horror gnomes? No zombie or horror gnomes for me please. As much as I love horror I prefer my gnomes to be more earthy, wintery, autumnal, or rainbow   Do you need any seeds? If so what varieties might you be interested in? Flowers, veg, herbs.. ?

I would love a tiny hand drawn gnome picture   Is homemade vanilla something you might like?  I have a "Mother Jar" that I can decant from.  These beans have been steeping for 2 years in a very nice bourbon. I would love some homemade vanilla. It sounds divine.

2020 Switch Witch Q&A

****NEW QUESTIONS/ANSWERS ADDED 10/5: **** All Questions as of 10/5 should be answered. If it isn't listed below the answer was "No thank you, No, or doesn't apply" and this makes it easier to read   do you have good feelings about Funko Pop? I do get some Funko Pops but not a ton. If you want to get me a Funko then any of the Hellraiser or The Shining ones would be awesome and I don't have any Funkos from those movies so pick whatever you like.      Witchee, assuming you like home made/home canned condiment goodies, what is your spice level preference?  I like it hot but my family are wimps so I usually go medium - hot so I'm not just making food for me lol . Though no ghost pepper type hot...I just don't care for them. 
  Would anyone be interested in anything from Bucees?! It’s a magical giant beaver gas station/shop! It has spices, fudge,  Knick knacks, all things Texas, candy, beef jerky, roasted nuts, and of course beavers! Most things like the fudge and nuts are made in house. I have zero idea what this is but you had me at magical giant beaver gas station. If they have cool merch than a travel mug would be awesome. I'm especially curious about things that you hesitate to do/get because they feel like frivolous luxuries Most of mine involve naps and spending time in my yard/generally being outside as pandemic self-care. My normal self-care are just about all impossible right now due to pandemic and I'm in the process of figuring out what I need to get through the next six months and pandemic winter since my husband and I already deal with seasonal depression. The main things I've been working on is: 1.removing clutter (clutter is a huge depression/anxiety trigger for both of us) 2.finding healthy but easy fall/winter comfort foods because I'm still working on taking off the weight from the first six months of comfort eating. Basically focusing on soups, roasted veg, and things I can prep and freeze for days I just can't deal and would normally order pizza/eat junk 3. finding ways to add more movement/exercise to my life in general. I have health/mobility issues that are making that difficult and most of our parks (normally I like to walk) aren't open due to COVID. 

So things that would help those goals are: 1. storage containers for my imps. Especially the ones they make to store bullets. Those are great because the imps are easy to organize/find and stack neatly.  2. Eco-friendly/reusable storage items like bees wrap or the silicon storage backs that are meant to replace sandwich bags. I'd really like some of those. I'm trying to create less waste but sandwich and snack sized plastic baggies are sooooo helpful.  3. 13 Days of Halloween 2017 Questionnaire

Forum Name: Spookygrrrly   Allergies, dietary, and lifestyle restrictions:   For matching purposes, are there any common allergens in your environment, that might affect matching (pets, smoke, live in a field of ragweed)?   We have cats and a dog. I am very careful to make sure pet hair doesn't end up in packages but anyone with bad allergies probably wouldn't want the risk.  
Do you (or anyone who might come in contact or view of the contents of these glorious packages) have any kind of phobia, trigger, or squick-out which is likely to arise in fall or Halloween-themed goodies (please address concerns over spiders, ghosts, severed hands, etc., here)?   Nothing with too many spiders. I am totally fine with spiders but my husband and son are aracnophobic. If they don't look very real that's fine but a fake egg sac would not be.  
Is there anything (that you know of) which it is illegal to mail to you, or that might cause Customs to become upset and hang on to your package?   If mailing to the USA from another country you can not mail any fruit, vegetables, plants, or seeds. You also can't ship nail polish or perfumes containing alcohol internationally.  
Do you celebrate any fall holidays? Please feel free to place as much info/context as you wish:   I celebrate Halloween and Samhain  
Are there certain things for these holidays--or your general love of fall-- that you would particularly appreciate receiving?   I prefer the orange and black vintage halloween type decorations. I also love the classic movie monsters, haunted houses, ravens, and skeletons. Think spooky more than gorey.   If you celebrate Halloween, are you dressing up? I haven't decided what I'm doing this year.   *What as? Not sure   *Would you like costume additions or accessories? No thanks   Would you like decorations? Sure

Tea!   Favorite snacks and treats: I can't think of much to put down because most of my snacks/treats are fruits. Though I do like cookies, good chocolate, and if you are international love to try treats I can't get in the US  
Favorite scents(both specific notes and perfume blends): To give you an idea my favorite BPAL scents are: Burial, Snake Oil, Gingerbread Snake, Ouija, Womb Fury, and Jack. I tend to go for foodie, spicy, leathery sorts of scents. Rarely do florals except for Jasmine. I LOVE honey notes.   Least Favorite Scents: Anything with rose, ozone, or "cold" scents.   Do you wear nail polish? Not really.   Would you like makeup? Not for this swap as I'm pretty picky with my makeup   *If you would like makeup, what sorts would you prefer?   *Any favorite makeup brands, colors?   *Any hated/not-preferred makeup brands, colors, or products (example: thanks to your sample box of choice, you hope never to see another black eyeliner as long as you live)?   Favorite bath and body products? No products for baths because I only have a shower, so things like bath bombs won't work. Hair gloss is good. I like nice soaps too.  
Personal clothing style: Goth casual...I wear a lot of staple pieces (jeans, leggings, t-shirts, cardigans) but they are usually black...or have bones on them...and it's all about the accessories: shoes, hair, jewelry   Do you like jewelry? I do but I'm a jeweler so I tend to just wear my own. Though if you make jewelry I love to have pieces by other jewelry makers too.   *If so, what sort? Pendants, bracelets, and earrings   *What sizes and/or lengths do you prefer? 18" or longer necklaces, I have a 7" wrist but if it's a bangle with no clasp than it needs to be large, any earrings but wearing more dangly earring lately.   Would you enjoy receiving wearables (shirts, socks, shoes, arm/legwarmers, hats,etc.)? hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, and socks are OK   *Sizing on wearables: I don't think those really come in sizes. Just general women's sizes.  
Home style: In progress. We're in the middle of clearing out and reworking things right now. Though I adore Victorian architecture and styling, collect horror memorabilia, my husband is into sci-fi and baseball, and our home is very mid-70's...you can see what I'm working with here.   Would you appreciate decoratives or art for your home? No thank you   *Are there any restrictions (no naked people, no breakables, that kind of thing)?  
What sort of music do you like? Most kinds but I listen to a lot of hard rock, goth, punk, alternative sorts of things.   Are you okay with burned music CDs? I only buy BPAL but other similar oil based scents are OK. I do not do alchol based scents at all.   Bath & Body Works - love them or hate them? If the former, fave product types?
I like them. I usually get the shower gel, foaming hand soap, or hand sanitizer. I like their fall/Halloween scents, particularly things with pumpkin, apples, spices, and vanilla.   I'm in Japan, is there anything specific from here you would be interested in?

If you are shipping from the US...sure! If you are outside of the USA please check with US customs. They can get weird about some homemade foods. Mostly I think that pertains to fruits, nuts, and some cheeses.   If you are okay with decorations, do you have a preference to table-top, wall hanging or window decorations?
Decorations are good. Wall, door, or window decorations are pretty much always good. Table top...I have a cat and limited shelf/table space so while I like table top decorations I can't have a whole logo of them. If it's really awesome I'll find a space though.   How do you feel about stationary and/or papercrafting supplies?
Honestly I have way more stationary right now than I'm actually using. And I've been getting rid of my paper crafting supplies so please no more.   How do you feel about kitschy/silly Halloween jewelry?
