doomsday_disco Report post Posted September 3 This serpent has abandoned the Tree of Knowledge for a more delicious temptation. A bubbling peach pie — golden crust lacquered with butter, ripe peaches engulfed brown sugar and spice — steeped with sugared Snake Oil: deep, rich earthy notes, vegetal musks, sugared vanilla bean, and dark spices. Frills Report post Posted September 17 Peach Bourbon Snake Oil is my favorite scent for the fall ever ever ever. But wow this one is good, too. Smells like peach pie baking in a room with Snake Oil grounding it so it doesn't get too foody. The peach eventually mellows into a gentle sweetness over the Snake Oil, which I love, because regular Snake Oil is a little harsh on me.
Leopard403 Report post Posted September 22 This has been resting in my house for three days since delivery. As always, fresh SO smells pretty sharp. With one or two small dabs onto my skin, all I smell is SO. But with a bit more of a slather I can smell the lovely gourmand peach. Still quite SO-forward, of course, but I imagine this will be lovely as it ages.
Poenari Report post Posted October 1 My beloved Snake Oil poured into a pie tin with freshly cut up peaches, not as spiced as Peach Brandy Snake Oil, but just as yummy. A hint of pie crust fades away. Another variant that I'm sure will age beautifully!

VioletChaos Report post Posted Saturday at 02:33 PM In the bottle I'm able to detect the pie in all its flaky-crust-and-carmelized-peach glory. But fresh Snake Oil pulls no punches and upon application most of the pie note is obliterated by the intensity of the SO. The Snake in this is SO fresh and intense that I wound up having to toss a little something else on it just to temper it down. I'm not terribly concerned though because the long years of Sneks have taught me that this phase is a passing fancy- in due time I fully expect a reemergence of the yummy peach pie and the Snake Oil to be both mellowed and also better integrated within. All it needs is a bit of time. 🍑 🥧 🧡
