The burnished gold of dappled autumn sunlight. Origin: Straight from the Post Initial Thoughts: I can't believe how much Puddin' listened to us as we brainstormed for Weenie polish colors. This one looked like it might be a gold version of Unseelie on the website, so I jumped. In the Bottle: As advertised - burnished gold with that lovely undertone of glitter. One coat: I thought at first that this might make a good layering option, but I think the base is a bit too gold to work. More expert hands than mine may find differently. Two coats: This one stays very true to the bottle, maybe just a slight tilt toward bronze. Verdict: It is lovely. I could see myself wearing it in the fall and at Christmas.

A pumpkin orange crème! Origin: Straight from the Post Initial Thoughts: If one asks for a pumpkin orange, one tries the pumpkin orange when it appears. In the Bottle: A subtle orange, more toward the brown side than the red. Looks very pumpkin-y. One coat: Like the other creme polish, Devil's Night, this one seemed watery on application. This one I would definitely recommend two coats. Two coats: Super-easy to apply. It pops a bit more on the nail than it did in the bottle. Verdict: Between the two orange shades, I like this one better. I'm not quite sure if I'll wear it enough to justify keeping it, though.

A metallic bronze, glowing like oak leaves at sunset. Origin: Straight from the Post Initial Thoughts: When wishing for potential Weenie polishes, I mentioned wanting something like Oneroi in orange or bronze. Puddin' listened. In the Bottle: A very rich coppery bronze with a subtle glitter texture. One coat:This one really only needs one coat. I got a full, even coverage with just one round. It continues to be a lovely bronze, a couple shades darker than a new penny, with tiny twinkly glitter in it. Verdict: Keeper! And maybe another bottle for good measure.

The hot, electric orange of distant fires. Origin: Straight from the Post Initial Thoughts: This doesn't appear to be one of my favorite shades of orange, but I wasn't quite sure based on the website photos. In the Bottle: This is bright, hot orange. Very flame-like. One coat: I wasn't expecting this to be so watery to apply, but it does go on smoothly. One coat *might* be enough, maybe. Two coats: This turns out to be rather easy to work with. Full coverage is achieved and it goes on quite evenly. Verdict: It's a nice polish to work with, but I'm not sure I'll keep it. It's quite orange.

An unearthly oil-slick holographic polish with dark and spectral multichrome elements. Origin: Straight from the Post Initial Thoughts: In the photo it looked like it might be the closest to another indie nail polish that I found on Etsy: black with rainbow glitter. In the Bottle: A gorgeous prism of colors shimmering in black. One coat: A very pale opaque black with neat pastel glitter. I'm digging the pinks and pale blues and pale greens. Two coats: Now it's dark - a slightly purple-black - and smooth and the glitter is more of a full rainbow. The picture seems to only show a silvery glitter - it's definitely a full spectrum as the description says. Verdict: I'm gonna need another bottle or two of this one. THIS is the kind of black nail polish I adore.

The spirits are done with your shenanigans and wish to depart: a poof of frankincense, myrrh, Tolu balsam, and rose. A dusty, incensy rose that is not very overpowering. It smells like a spirtualist's shop. I imagine that it is the balsam that really brings these scents together. Don't be afraid of this one if you don't like roses. I'd say this is floraly but mostly incense.

A science fiction thriller by Lilith Victoria Barrial. Swirls of black plum, orange flower, white musk, spun sugar, and lollipop goo opening up into an abyss of patchouli, benzoin, and and fig. Okay, I'll start with my humble review ... I could not "picture" this scent in my mind when it first went up but, because it was Lilith-oriented and was accompanied by a video which gave it its name (and it included my beloved patchouli), it was an automatic must-have. This is a joyful, playful scent. It makes me smile every time and has become my favorite bedtime scent. My nose tells me this is an expensive gourmet black raspberry lollipop (warm and sticky) floating in a cloud of sweet patchouli. If I concentrate when I'm spraying it, I can also identify cocoa and fig. I am also greatly amused that the quote from the video "Vanished into oblivion! Bye!" appears on the bottle.

Saltspray on moonlit fur with a hint of palm, white fig, and lime. Salty aquatic. I get a little blast of lime in the beginning, but it burns off quickly. The sharp saltiness mellows out as it wear on. I'm not getting a fur note, but I do like this scent for sure!

And I looked, and behold a pale gourd: green patchouli and white pumpkin with yew berry, black cypress, white sandalwood, spectral niaouli, eucalyptus petal, and dry white mint. This is gorgeous. The pumpkin is present, yes, but it's not as thick or as cloying as pumpkin scents can be - it's quite fresh, unisex, and incredibly moreish. I could wear this all year round. I don't get a whole lot of sandalwood, or a very clear sense of mint, cypress of eucalyptus - I just get a sense of freshness with the creamy, comforting scent of pumpkin. I am seriously considering a back up.

A furious scent, powerful and scorching, running red with fire and blood: pumpkin with red musk, pimento, red pepper absolute, red vetiver, rose geranium, and crushed red poppies. I'm hesitant to be the first on this because I'm not a terribly eloquent reviewer, but here goes. This is strong. My hair's too short for me to sniff directly, but that didn't matter. I was smelling it all day, and woke up the next morning still smelling it. I was hesitant to wear it out in public. Definitely heed the warning to apply it lightly. (At first I thought this might be an unavoidable "very short hair + gloss = way too concentrated scent" issue, but my other gloss is much milder. I may be amping something.) I could make out the red pepper and what I think might be the pimento, but nothing else distinct. There's a sort of creamy base that might be pumpkin, but if so it's canned pureed pumpkin rather than fresh carving pumpkin. Overall this is a very red-orange, peppery scent. Furious is a good word for it; this screams its presence. Too much for me to wear often, and one I'll hesitate to wear around other people.

I am not a fan of reviewing first, because I'm pretty much a terrible reviewer, but I will give it a go for the sake of anyone waiting for reviews. I removed the spray top to sniff from the bottle directly. In the bottle this is beautiful, the sweetness of the fig and the richness of the cacao really come through, with just a hint of resinous copal. I sprayed twice on the ends of my hair. Once dry, I got no cacao, no fig to sweeten it, just earthy dry dead leaves and copal. To me, copal is a little bit masculine, it's not my favourite resin. I'm sad that the beautiful cacao and fig that are so evident in the bottle don't shine through on me. I guess my chemistry kills them. I will likely be swapping my bottle. I took a gamble on this, knowing I'm not a big fan of copal, and hoping this would be mostly cacao and fig with the dead leaves. Hopefully those that really like copal with love this!

PUMPKIN SPICE THE F&%K OUT OF EVERYTHING. I love me some pumpkin spice. And I like the idea of pumpkin spicing the f&$# out of everything in my home. So I bought this. I was not let down. I was slightly afraid that this would be SPIIIIIIICE! and not "pumpkin spice". My worries were unfounded though, because this is pumpkin and spice. There's almost a hint of a bakery type note, but it doesn't specifically smell like baked goods. My husband commented that it reminded him of pumpkin scones - not sweet, just pumpkiny and lots of those autumn baking spices. In a nutshell: It's a well balanced pumpkin/spice scent. Perfect for fall.

Grey pumpkin husk and bruised violets blanketed by creeping white mycelium, black mosses, and toxic subterranean mushrooms. Wtf? It's sweet?? Where are the mushrooms?? It literally smells nothing like I expected?? Tbh I'm not unhappy, I don't actually *want* my hair to smell like mushrooms. I got this purely expecting to never want it on my hair ever but I had to try it because c'mon. You gotta. There's actually a foodie cake aspect to this from the bottle which is really really surprising. And it smells like yellow cake specifically. Maybe a touch of orange zest. Something ever so slightly green/dirty underneath. This is so so not what I was expecting but I really like it!! I haven't tried this on my hair yet but I definitely will be tonight once my hair is washed and will update accordingly! Here's hoping the cake stays! ETA: I finally got around to trying this in my hair. For reference, I don't use a lot of gloss in my hair since the amount I would need to tame my curls would probably knock people over with a wall of scent. I use macadamia oil first and then a couple of sprays of a gloss to scent it. I used two sprays of this which was enough to scent my hair for a meeting I had that night (also scent never lasts in my hair so I can't comment about that). I was quite sad to see that the cake smell disappeared as soon as it went in my hair and I was left with a light, creamy white floral (the violets I'm assuming) I'm not a floral person, but this was inoffensive and pleasant to wear. I will keep my decant, but no need to seek out a bottle for me.

Belgian chocolate filled with pumpkin butter. Chocolate. Pumpkin. The chocolate here smells fine and almost dusty (in a good way), like powdered cocoa. The pumpkin is subtler than I thought it might be, adding some richness and texture and depth. The result smells something like a super complex and fancy hot cocoa. When I was testing this the other day, my husband told me I smelled like Mayan chocolate, and I can see how it comes across that way. This is a lovely chocolatey bath oil and might just distract me slightly from my lifelong dream of the Post releasing a Bliss hair gloss.

Because the goblins have been fighting over the perfume. Delicious! This is a cake-lovers delight. I can smell pumpkin cheesecake, and I can also smell carrot cake or pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting. No matter how you slice this cake, it's so good. The cream note is more pronounced on me in the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake perfume oil than it is here in the Pumpkin Cheesecake bath oil—here I get more cakey notes. So much fun and would layer beautifully with Pumpkin Spice Everything hair gloss and The Witches perfume oil or Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake perfume oil.

Solar-powered electric melons and droplets of pina colada caught in an electrical storm. This is one sweet, cool creamy scent! Green melon, white cream, lime, cocanut, and the sense that it's cold. It's almost like melon pina colada ice cream. I do not get much in the way of water or rain or ocean or other "aquatic" smells, but those notes do very well for me, so they may just be blending into the other notes for me. I tested this straight out of the mail. If things have changed when I try it again after it has settled, I will update my review!

A spectral denial you must not disregard: Burmese heartwood teak, coffee beans, black patchouli, green cognac, and white musk. Thanks to TwilightEyes for making this possible! In The Bottle: Smoky black patchouli, a bit of dark wood (not the teak from Glowing Vulva- this is blackened, rich.) and a touch of cognac. Wet On Skin: The cognac sweetens up a bit- this is the same cognac note from Black Lace and it does a lot to smooth out the rough edges of the heady, dark scent. Dry Down: Wow. This is pretty special. It's like a combination of Black Lace, deep, dark patchouli and fresh-brewed coffee as smelled whilst walking through the French Quarter. It's not sinister, but it *is* serious. In All: Medium throw with a nice, rich undertone that makes this perfect for all genders. I have a feeling this is going to get even better with age!

Jean Miélo White musk, tobacco flower, white tea, Tunisian neroli, and blonde leather. Still no reviews? Ok, my mediocre one will have to do. This is beautiful. I love all of the notes here so I had to buy a bottle. Very well blended - the tobacco flower is wonderful here with the neroli! The white tea gives it a refreshing, almost delicate feel and the leather is not the star...just a nice bottom layer to meld with the white musk and ground this higher pitched blend. This reads as more of a Spring/Summer perfume to me, but for some reason I find myself planning to wear it for our first day of snow, whenever that may be. I really, really like this now and I'm looking forward to seeing how it ages. Another masterful blend! ETA: this is becoming stronger even with such a short amount of aging! Very refreshing and comforting at the same time.

Homemade blood clot-and-cherry ice cream plopping onto moonlit sand. In the bottle, this reminds me more of cherry candy (perhaps those Lifesaver lollipops with the swirls?) than ice cream. It's intensely cherry, but it is far creamier once it is actually sprayed (and kind of makes me think of red Starbursts). I'm not really getting the blood clot note. I thought it would mean dragon's blood or clove to accompany the cherry (like in the GC scent Blood), but I'm mainly just getting a creamy cherry scent from this. It definitely does not contain dragon's blood. I would never wear a scent like this, but I like it as a room spray. I'm sure it will get a lot of use during the summer months.

Crisp lime and mandarin, with a bit of scaly green mint and coconut. OMG, "A Fling in the Lagoon" bath oil is to die for!!! It smells like ... a pristine, white sand beach without any dead fish odor ... like your daydream about being marooned on some tropical island (where you have food, shelter, good water, and your favorite books/music) ... like the best mojito you ever had served by the sweetest cabana boy (or girl) ... like how your skin smelled as a kid after swimming in the pool and playing in the sandbox all day ... like some happy memory I can't place ... it brought tears to my eyes. Sun, sand, lime, and mint. I need more bottles of this ... or a vat.

Black leather and black licorice. Mmmm...this is delicious! It's pretty much exactly 50/50 between the licorice and leather. It's sultry and sweet and might be my favourite new atmos choice for the bedroom. Smells a little pungent in the bottle so make sure to spray it into a room before you decide if it's for you or not.

Dry, cold autumn wind. A rustle of red leaves, a touch of smoke and sap in the air. This is the perfect October/Halloween room fragrance. I don't know how, but it really does evoke cold, autumnal air. BPAL's dead leaves are definitely in here, it sort of wafts in and out now and then to remind you it's there. There's a "perfumey" note too that stops it being as natural and outdoorsy as I expected. I did buy this for myself, but it's actually perfect for my ma. I can't honestly see me using it for more than a week either side of Halloween anyway, this is the first time I've had a strongly seasonal response to a scent ☺ Edit to add that this is really similar to Dead Leaves, Patchouli, Honey and Warm Musk hair gloss!

The scent of fallow fields, faraway conflagrations consuming dry, parched grasses, and crops failing under the relentless heat of a dying sun. Last year's Gourd of Deprivation atmo was one of my all-time favorites, so this was a no-brainer when I saw the new Weenies. It doesn't disappoint. I've been spraying the atmo for almost a year now, and this hair gloss holds up against the original blend. Oh man, I can't tell you how wonderful it is to finally be able to spray this chai pumpkin tea scent in my hair! It's got the same qualities I loved about its predecessor: sweet spices, cozy pumpkin, and the feel of gentle sunshine on a hayfield. Reminds me of harvest season back home when the wind picks up loose bits of dry grass and swirls around a bit. I finally feel like fall has arrived. This hair gloss will not disappoint you.

If at midnight with a pumpkin light, You steal to your room unseen, In the mirror appears the face, Of your lover true on Hallowe'en Pumpkin seeds and candle wax. Yes please! I'm definitely in the Halloween mood, and this hits the spot. Not in a spooky way, though. Pumpkinholics like myself would likely find it comforting. It's very soft and unobtrusive. The pumpkin-wax combo reminds me a liiiiittle bit of a craft store candle, but it's so much better than that. The pumpkin smells like the same one from Gourd of Deprivation -- not too buttery, not too vegetable-ish, just enough spice. I can see this being a staple for the rest of this season.

Caramelized grey matter with apple. OOH to be first... the pressure! In Bottle: Smells yummy... a "pale" caramel. Sweet, but not crazy sweet!! On Skin: Oh man... this is amazing! It warms up to a wonderful, candy-like caramel! Just like a caramel lollipop! Dry down: This has great throw on me, and I think this will be a hit!! Scent stays true... it is like a caramel apple hard candy! Something keeping the caramel from being a sticky-type scent, but this is great!! I am a foodie lover and I see this one being a true keeper that will get better with age! Want to add, any apple lovers out there, get this!! Also, after a few hours, it is still going strong and it reminds me of a stronger version of Sugar Slathered Candy Apple!! I am so in love with this!!
