14 hours ago, Vanesa said:@aphrodisms and I chatted a bit, and we're planning to run Spring Cleaning this year (if anyone else wants to help, let us know!). But, y'all, I'm afraid it's the year for patience - I'm trying to buy a house for the first time (frigging terrifying), so we're not planning to post until late March/early April and will likely have some pretty long sign up and ship windows to make sure we don't leave anyone hanging while I try to move (ack!).
Indeed we are! I feel like the receiving dates might end up coinciding with my birthday which would be lovely haha. And I'm excited to co-run for the first time! The spring cleaning swap was so fun last year and I always love going through the things I already have!

Anyone else interested in helping run it? Or running it yourself - I'm not especially fixed on helping run it, just want to make sure it happens.
What’s involved in co-running? I might be interested but need to see if it’d be manageable for me!

I wish I was getting what everyone else is, because a sweet lemony incense sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, on me this is an astringent 'clean' smokiness with a lot of heavy/harsh polished woods underneath. I can totally see this being someone's style but I'm not a woods fan.
-
Very bright, almost soapy rose. I'm not getting much vanilla to be honest, and this is the kind of rose that really doesn't like my skin chem.
-
A classic BPAL lavender - really lovely, with some hint of spice which might be the rockrose? Either way it complements the lavender well and really reminds me of the TAL Peace blend.
-
I'm not sure how this went so wrong on me, although it's probably the sandalwood. I was hoping for a gossamer complex vanilla, but instead it was cloying vanilla with weird grainy textures underneath.
-
A sophisticated green tea! It has slight floral nuances and the vanilla really just smooths things out rather than making anything sweet. After it dries down it gets a lil sweeter and is just really gorgeous.
-
Slightly musty rich honey with the evil grainy sandalwood asserting itself underneath.

I loove vetiver and have some blends made by the Lab that feature it gorgeously, but this went so horribly wrong. It's all very savoury dark bbq sauce somehow.
-
Lovely humid tropical floral! Definitely with a nice soft vanilla undertone. The tuberose and jasmine complement each other really well, they're not shrieky at all, just ripe and opulent.
-
Definitely a well-balanced violet that isn't too green or sweet, over woods that aren't too commanding or heavy at all.
-
Like crumbly gnarly chocolate - the sandalwood and vetiver are mostly lending texture to the chocolate, which is the main scent.
-
This scent taught me that I hate myrrh. It's the dusty slightly sour gritty thing that's hanging out under a lovely fresh rose.
-
Like very fresh pine wardrobes lol - nice and Christmassy if you like pine!
-
Definitely orange blossom with a nice tartness from the lemon peel. The marshmallow isn't particularly soft or fluffy, it's more just lending a gourmand sweetness to the scent.
-
Vanilla flower always smells surprisingly clean to me, so this isn't really a sweet scent. It's more a clean white floral over some powdery orris.
-
Mostly jasmine honestly - it's definitely a creamy waxy one that I'm sure jasmine lovers will love, but I don't feel like there's much else going on.
-
-
Surprisingly astringent lavender over some vague sweetness. Not sure if I didn't rest this long enough but I didn't love it.
-
Quite soapy shimmering rose. Smells like it would be a bath product. I'm not really getting any saffron sadly!
-
A cologne-y lavender that's unexpectedly sweet, with a warmth that does evoke cosy armchairs and paper books underneath.

Snow White

Very almond-y sweet florals. There's probably more going on here but I'm just too distracted by the almond.
