This one! In the bottle: a dry slightly dark vanilla On the Skin wet: Oddly I get a soapy woody vanilla?? Not bad but kinda weird, kinda like an old fashioned soap in a wooden drawer with a nice vanilla candle... Dry: No soapiness anymore, no idea what was causing that on my skin! Now it's more vanilla/benzoin and a smokey-ness, but still creamy Total dry-down: Like someone soaked some wood in creamy vanilla until the wood was sodden with it and you began to burn it, like incense This one is excellent! wanted to add that I also get VioletChaos' description of it smelling like fancy underwear steamed with vanilla

In the bottle: Smells like children's chewable vitamins, it brings a smile to my face because I used to love those things as a kid! On the skin wet: Still the children's vitamin feel, not a bad smell but would want to walk around smelling like that. Dry: the vitamin smell recedes to the background (but is still there) to this beautiful floral type. I'm guessing it's the Cherry Blossom Total Dry-down: Sooooo nice! Not sure what I'm getting, like I've said in another review, I'm still learning the BPAL musks. So it might be Cherry Blossom with Red Musk and strawberry-ish fruit, in that order. There's something about this that makes me think "comforting" and "cuddly" which is odd because it doesn't have any of the typical smells that normally give that impression (for me).

I'm torn with this one, I love the dry down but dislike the opening. The opening: Smells like I'm in a dollar store, smelling cheap unpleasant incense and someone recently mopped the floor with a lemony cleaner. I thought for sure I was going to have to get rid of this one But then the middle: It loses the lemony-ness completely and the cheap incense smell is becoming richer and deeper the dry down: Ohhhh soooo nice! Dry, slightly sweet amber goodness. I'm guessing it's the black musk that makes the amber smell dry but Im still new to bpal's musks so I can't say for certain. I've had this bottle for 2 years now and it's aged wonderfully, the opening that I dislike gets shorter and shorter with age and even though I DO dislike the opening, that WONDERFUL dry down makes it all worth it. edited because autocorrect is trying to sabotage me

This was one of the first oils I bought from the lab, I figured that so many people loved that I couldn't go wrong. When the bottle arrived I didn't not like it at all! I thought it smelled so medicinal without any of this promised vanilla, but I had read enough reviews to know to put this away for a few months and come back to it. Everyone was right! The older it is the more I like it, it's one of my favs now! My bottle is now 4-5 years old and it's prized, loved and worn I get a gloppy thick dark vanilla that's been spiced. The spices are like the kind you'd used to make spicy/mulled desserts and drinks. It wears all day and has a large throw, I do get asked what I'm wearing with this one. Love it and need to buy a back-up...if I can ease up on purchasing all limited editions haha edited (again) because I need to learn how to proof read
