    CCNow or PayPal

Here's a Paypal question for you guys... I'm seeing throughout this thread that there are different addresses listed for sending the money to the lab. On the welcome page it says to pay paypal @ blackphoenixalchemylab, but I wanted to make sure that's the correct one... especially since I placed an order with them five days ago, but never received any sort of confirmation. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything properly. Thanks!

    Baneberry

This is the third BPAL oil I've tried, and since the first two hated me, I was really hoping that Baneberry would be wonderful. And it was! ...But only for a little while. I'm starting to think I have problem-skin. The scent in the bottle was heady and crisp, and I could definitely smell the berry and greenery, like everyone else has said. It was right up my alley. I put it on, and alternately I could smell that fresh, intoxicating berry, then the green underneath. I was really soooooo excited. But then about ten minutes into it, it all started to go terribly soapy. Within the hour, that's all it was. And awful, terrible soap. Bleh.

    Blood Kiss

*sighs* Blood Kiss just makes me grieve, I tell you. GRIEVE. I wanted to badly to love this scent on me. I was almost positive it would be wonderful, heady goodness on me. Alas... In the bottle: I was immediately startled at the awfulness of it. I could smell no vanilla, no clove, no cherry, no nothing I'm supposed to smell. Just spicy, powdery... goo. Wet on skin: More of the same. I think I'm smelling the vetiver... Dry: It's just spicy powder. I can't put my finger on a single note in this blend. I finally had to wash it off Verdict: I am so sad that this oil turned to disaster on my skin. Bleh, into the swap pile and onto another oil.

    Dragon's Hide

Hooray, my first review! In the bottle: Nothing but old lady perfume. Wet on the skin: The leather slapped me in the face HARD, and I thought to myself, "Ohhhh, I could like this!" I kept sniffing as it dried, and the smell of burning autumn leaves started to come through, sharp and almost dizzying. Still though, there's that strong scent of what I can only (and unfortuantely) describe as 'old lady perfume'. I'm assuming that must be the Dragon's Blood, since I'm not sure what it smells like in the first place. Dry: I keep sniffing and sniffing, and what I'm getting now is more of a sharp, heady incense smoke smell. It's the perfect Ashevillian hippie scent. Throw: Heavy and horrible. It's sickeningly perfumey. Verdict: I can definitely appreciate this scent, and while I don't hate it, I have enough sense to realize that it just isn't for me.
