O
in Ars Amatoria
i adore O. i've had the same bottle for at least four years, but have never worn it regularly. embarrassingly, i recall possibly having diluted it back in the day, when i didn't want to be super scented. in any case, what i have left in the bottle is gorgeous. thick honey and vanilla. a real skin scent but better (and my boyfriend actually likes it, which is fab coming from a guy who gets headaches immediately upon sniffing certain strong scents!)
i want to buy a brand new bottle, to compare, but i'm trying to save money. so i'll try to wait until i use this one up. it's still plenty strong.

i like this! the jasmine is most prominent. it's bright and girly. i will likely use up my 1/2 decant.

very bright, very sweet, perfume-y. this is a clean, floral scent. i don't detect any honey. this is very pretty, but a little strong. i like it, though, and would apply lightly.

this is very pretty. light, bright, a bit of coconut. i'm not sure it's entirely "me", but it's very pretty nonetheless.

This is really, really pretty. My GC comparison is Snake Oil (one of my favorites). this is creamy, powdery, amber-y and just... really good. mm.

ah, at first, sweet sweet roses and flowers, tangy, but after awhile, this smells WONDERFUL on me, smoky, spicy yet creamy, tobacco-y, warm, autumnal and christmas-y, just delicious. it's comforting yet makes me want to get close to people so they can smell me.
I am so lucky to have been able to try this!!!!!

I like this one. it's light, but beautiful - I suppose maybe it's the apple blossom, but to me is just smells like flowers. a lovely spring garden with lots of white blooms. it smells REAL, too, unlike other flowery perfumes. it puts me in a nice, spring-y mood.

Patron of the Aztec pantheon, he is the personification of light within darkness, warmth in the cold, and life in, and after, death. He is a creative and destructive God of Fire and Light, and is appeased only by sacrifice, trial, and the slaughter of his people's enemies. Copal, plumeria and sweet orange and the smoke of South American incense and crushed jungle blooms.
this one is verrry hard to describe. it is beautiful, kind of adult-ish smelling, and after awhile it morphs into something creamier and reminiscent of snake oil [both this and morocco become snake oil-ish on me]. I really find it nice - like I could wear it anywhere and it would be appropriate.
I can't think of even one word to describe it! I can't smell specific notes ... it's just delish. [thank you friendthegirl and minilux!] -
this, to me, is definitely not milky, but it is a bit creamy, if that makes sense. it is light, a bit spicy from the ginger, and lemony all over. it fades quickly on me. people who've smelled if on me relate it to some kind of cleaner, which stopped me from frequently wearing it. I think I'll try it tomorrow morning as it seems like a wake-up kind of scent. it's lovely.

i also thought it was 'sah-hane'. my religion professor recently pronounced it 'salmon', though.
it sounds different in my head than when i say it aloud, you know?

to me, this is more comforting than sexy [though it is sexy in its own way .. more sensual rather than outwardly sexy].
it smells best when it's gotten onto my clothes and i can smell it the next day and the next [as in wearing the same shirt to bed every night].
it's my favorite and i keep coming back to it [though i've never gotten a real compliment on it].

last night i placed an order for some glass bottles and droppers [although i just wanted wands] from lavender lane .
the shipping is rather outrageous, but ..
we'll see how this goes, anyway. i like to have things organized, all in little bottles with little labels.
[you can order amber, clear, blue, + green bottles .. neat]

mmm. this is sweet and gentle; smells like lily-of-the-valley. i've tried about five others today, and this is the one i like the most.

meeh. this one is totally and utterly play-doh! even after waiting a bit for a nice scent to arise. meeeh.
