and some ketchup-i do like pomegranate, and have rearely had it,maybe in some salady things,and my favorite notes tend to be vanilla,safron,creamy,slightly foody,sugary,but I also love the beer and tar in bonfire night & feeding the dead, and thought i didnt like jasmine until I tried jasmine cottage! I also like coffee notes (luv my pumpkin latte)

And,oh BTW I am framing THE TOP GEAR CARD! I always thought I might be THE STIG!!

Now that I've been to the epic Colorado M&S I got to hug some terrific peeps, and smell some great bottles, so in case anyone wants to know I have a wishlist of scents. Chumwick agreed with these. for the most part he behaved himself, and did not spill .

He did try to tuck one of LL's felines into my backpack, but that was not to be.

Nevertheless, I came home with more bottles and less jewelry so that was good, and new homes were found for bottles that needed adoption!!! One of my BPAL travel boxes was titled "BOTTLES THAT NEED NEW HOMES" and to my relief most of them did!Thank you to everyone. It was a blast meeting you in RL , and despite the pillowfight that never happened had a blast. Thank you to the hosts, LunaLiquid and her DH, and everyone else for welcoming me to Colorado!

greetings from another frumpette feeling person:))) I have a feeling we are not truly frumpy;my guess is that the truly frumpscious have no idea that they are so; we who are so conscious of it probably are style vixens(in someones eyes. I know that my wardrobe could use updating, and I have become chunkier since last year. Just today I am starting to go through closet and get rid of anything that doesnt make me spiffy. Perhaps we could be on what not to wear!!!!!!

As far as haircut,I go to a beauty school,because I really like the enthusiasm and cheap prices of the stylists-Ive found really no difference between the school haircuts(99% of time) and higher priced snotty hair salons.

How about going to a beauty school to get a facial and or massage; THEN go into a store you like and try something different on!BTW-a friend of mine always used to get one outfit each year that she had to fight with herself to get(ie something she would not normally wear)and invariably found she got many compliments on it!

then again,perhaps I should take my own advice!Anyway, dont worry-your hubby loves you-and I think Ive seen pics of you-you non frumpy person!!!!!!!!!

OOH-winter/spring in New England = no yard sales-I used to collect old cameras and have a yard sale fetish-now I am after license plates, and can hardly wait for yard sale season to begin here:)))

Hi there-I know you've got a lot going on,and it seriously sucks that you woont be able to take archeology:(way back whenin college I got to volunteer at the LaBrea tarpits and clean dinosaur bones(which I didnt really appreciate at the time)but even though it wouldnt be the same, now there are all these course podcasts-and there must be some in archeology and maybe even some with good teachers-and maybe someplace you could volunteer just a tiny bit in archeology-or am I just being snarky?anyway,take care.

This SW thing is going to be great this round. I went to a bookstore to buy a purse I'd been visiting, and since I bought the purse,my SW also got a little something. I now have a little section in the hall with SW items:))He HE HE(just stalking) Origami is so neat.I was looking at a book on it, and the directions just made my eyes roll back in my head Happy folding!

Ask DH how he would like it if you were addicted to um....crack?At least this way we smell nice...and after all, doesn't he like it too?

ok-i'll weigh in on the glasses front-I used to have wonderful bright blue plastic frames-which I loved,they sort of hid the constant circles under my eyes,and people mentioned them a lot-only problem-people noticed the glasses and not me or my eyes-and then last year I found a pair of those no frame kinda frames with a blue bridge over the nose,and it's taken a while getting used to them,but it does kind of open up my face and you see more of my eyes.btw-they do feel flimsier than my plastic glasses.

btw-i cant imagine how tough it would be living with exbf-my exbf supposedly "didn't want another relationship"and guess what he went out to find?!-but we are friendly and talk on the ohone,but we dont live in the same house(or even state) so I cant imagine-yuk-well enjoy the chocolate!

Yup-another one of those geeky kids-even though Im decades older now-people used to get in fights as to who would have to pick me to be on their team for gym class...and finally,one day when I finally(for the first time) hit the volleyball over the net, even the other team yelled)

It's kind of weird, because even though it's decades later now, the 'angst" of the outsiderenss remains to some degree.I HATE a lot of group activities that have an athletic emphasis, and only feel secure in hiking or other situations if Im with soemone I trust.

And I hate competitive sports, and I clearly remember how mean kids can be...and it seems it can take a toll on us....

However, this weekend Im gonna do something I havent done since college(attend a B movie marathon) YEAH-and Im going on my own(how brave)let's hope I can stay awake!!!!!!!!

Best of luck-some chocolate(not Hershey's dark) but the really goood kind has hardly any carbs-the darker the better;I eat Lindt chocolate 85%(which is really dark)and a small piece is really satifying(honest)

OK-have really enjoyed reading the posts here-fellow introverts. I have relatives I love, but I wouldnt really talk to them about something wrong in my life, and a few RL friends, and some friendships I've let slide unfortuantely...once people have babies,kids,teenageres,and time goes so fast......

anyway, now am making an effort to "get out there and do stuff">some of it feels ok,but some of it also, makes me wonder why Ive" wasted" my time and money!

So I suppose some of us are just more introverted...

I dont know about you, but I like seeing what other people are doing,almost observing, but I dont exactly wanna spend all my time with them, and I think that is really good and normal. quite frankly, I believe that the people who always HAVE to be doing something social are far stranger. The world needs us introverts!!!!

And um-thats just my 2cents worth!YMMV

A very long time ago, in a galaxy far across the country I used to work with a guy who wrote not only his full name but his degree on his time sheets!WTF? It was a small office, this was pre HMO billing stuff, and everyone who worked there with the exception of the afmin, had an MSW-so why did he have to write it affter his name?

aww-i hope the doc is wrong,and it sponaneously goes away- Many decades ago,(before the prom) I once had a tiny tiny zit that erupted into something on the center of my forehead that had to be eh"concealed"with some green "primer"and basically took forever to get away-I can still "see" it in my mind-not pretty

and then once upon a time, a flatmate "beautified" me with a relaxing mask that left a scabby thing so gross I wanted to wrap a scrf around my forehead!

So-um-do you know if you have an allergy to a specific ingredient?Anyway, I hope it fades quickly and causes you no more grief!

Moving is always one way of decrapifying,but um I moved and I still have unpacked boxes.In an effort to decrapify,I looked at some posters I hadnt framed,and went to ikea in search of frames,and found the reasons the posters have remained unframed and rolled up in a tube-they werent standard sizes-!!!

BTW_I once cleared a house after my aunt had lived there for 35 years-it took a long,long time,so um-do what you can now-and keep us posted!
