    Phantasm

In the bottle: The oil my father used to clean the dining room table when I was a kid Wet: Even stronger then in the bottle. Its bringing back memories and not good ones. Dry: Softer pledge like smell now, the green tea is fighting its way out. Drydown: Basically gone. Overall, probably not one I am going to worry about getting a bottle of.

    Golden Priapus

I love the smell of this one in the bottle. The pine is sharp but balanced with the vanilla. On me though, the vanilla amps crazily and then it all goes to play-dough

    Delirium

Rose. Oh boy rose. Loved it in the bottle but too much rose for me!

    Y'ha-nthlei

In the bottle: Love it. Fresh and bright, definitely get the eucalytus from the first sniff. So light and fresh! Wet: Same as bottle. Dry: Same as bottle. Unfortunately, it was gone in less than an hour. I am going to try this as a room scent because I love it that much.

    The Zieba Tree

I completely love this in the description and even more once I smell it in the bottle. Unfortunately, it is a lovely smelling dryer sheet on me. Drat I really was excited about this one.

    Ophelia

In the bottle: Floral for sure... strong but most of them are in the bottle to me. Wet: SLAP! floral to the face, floral to the nose... I am getting my butt kicked all over the room. Dry-down: Throwing like crazy still kicking and screaming at me from my wrist. And then after 30 minutes: settles into a harmless floral scent that isn't overwhelming and lasted about 4 hours. I might try it again and see how the first part goes if I am more stingy with the amount I put on.

    Machu Picchu

In the bottle: sweet and fruity Wet: Still sweet but now floral is coming out. Dry: Soap. Mixed with flowers going bad. Not for me unfortunately!

    Dana O'Shee

In the bottle: sweet honey and something sharp Wet: Sharp sweet that tingles in my nose Dry down: GETITOFFME! Gives me a massive headache and I am constantly looking for whatever is around me that is giving me the headache. It would be good in linens or as a room scent while in a hot bath. Just too much right on my wrists.

    Séance

Makes my nose itch and eyes water slightly. The same sort of reaction I have in a dusty attic filled with books. I agree with people who say this is a sad scent. It faded quickly on me and I think I am ok with that.

    Ultraviolet

In the bottle: mint and flower, crisp and clean Wet: Mint and flower (now I know what violets smell like) Dry: I can see the metallic table the violets are on and I like it. This stayed very true all day and lasted a long time. The only problem was I kept lookng around to see what smelled so good. It isn't a scent that matches me very well so I kept forgetting I was wearing it. Definitely one I will keep to wear on the days it peaks my interest, but not one that I will wear daily.

    Embalming Fluid

My first BPAL scent ever! I have to admit I almost didn't try it because of the name. And I still don't like telling people I am wearing it because they all flinch and then I have to explain but... This is tea and lemon and musk done to absolute perfection. When it first goes on I just get happy. As the day goes on it keeps carrying up to my nose and I smile. My favorite part of a day of wearing it is going to bed and getting the last lingering fresh warm linen scent that is the end of the white musk on me.

    Kuang Shi

In the bottle: Fruity with a hint of something balancing it out. Wet: Fruit! (I hadn't read the description so I had no idea what fruit I was smelling) Dry: Yummy mango and orange with the musk peeping through (read the description by now) It did fade fast on me but I will just put more on! I am excited to try the Tweedledum I just ordered now!

    When the Winter Chrysanthemums Go

In the bottle: Minty with a little floral background Wet: MINT Dry: the mums kind of come out after awhile but mostly I am getting what a more experienced BPALer calls the 'snow note' I am not a fan and it kind of makes my stomach hurts. Going back to the friend and I will try one more snow note to see if it works at all for me!

    Snow Bunny

I hadn't read the description before I tried this one so I may have been alittle biased but here goes... I put it on and got warm mulled cider with clove. I wasn't hating this... but then... my grandmother's bathroom scent happened. Cheap potpourri with apple juice mixed in. Then I got home and the DH sniffed, started sneezing and off it came! Not a scent for me I will have to try some of the other 'winter' ones and see what I can find.

    Cathode

In the bottle: Medicinal and woody. I think the mint is giving me a weird vibe. Wet: Soap and something bright Dry: My dad's soap from when I was a kid. This is a get it off me scent for me. It turned even before it dried. I think the oakmoss disagreed with me but it could have been the ambergris.

    Croquet

In the bottle: Bright, fruity, floral, truely lovely (though it would get tiresome on the nose if everything stayed SO bright) Wet: Grapefruit and lime! Throwing itself across the room! Nice undertone of something slightly musky but so bright. Dry: Almost the same as in the bottle but already morphing into something else. 1/2 hour later: musk. soapy musk. with sourness. I thought this was going to go so well until it decided that it did NOT like me.

    Vixen

New to BPAL here and trying on Vixen today from a swap. All I got for the first hour was patchouli and I felt like I was drowning in it. I think my skin decided it was the best scent ever. 5+ hours later and I have a faint orangish scent if I get really close to my skin. Back to the swap list for this one.
