    White Rabbit

This is a very tricky scent in the bottle; the notes will swirl around and you'll catch whispers of lemons and honey but you can't quite put your finger on what's going to jump out at you once you put it on. Wet, it's all lemon, and then as it dries the vanilla and pepper will emerge with a background of honey. The tea sadly takes a backseat on this one, but the other smells are more than welcome to hang out here all day.

    The Robotic Scarab

My friend ended up talking me into adding this to my imp order because the notes reminded her of what our favorite fictional space marine might smell like if you were to give him a big hug after a long day of him working. He's all I could think about as I opened this one up, and it's exactly what I was expecting and more. I can close my eyes and smell his greased brow that had been collecting oils and dirt as he worked tirelessly on the various machinery around the ship, and the leather is the warm hug you give him after missing him all day. This is amazing.

    Ile de la Tortue

I am REALLY glad I decided to pick this one up. The floral notes blended into this one almost dance off of your skin. It's so tropical and summery; it makes me long for the sand between my toes! All of my experience with vetiver has been resoundingly negative, since it likes to bring ugly headaches with it, but this doesn't give me the same reaction.

    Windward Passage

Breezes blowing off of the waters of the Caribbean: marine accord, seaweed, and bladderwrack. I was so curious about what an aquatic smelled like, and I consider my curiosity completely satisfied after this vial. It is strong and soapy! I understand why scents like this are considered "aquatics", since just smelling them reminds me of getting in the shower after a boyfriend. I really wish I smelled more seaweed. Overall, this will help with future BPAL purchases since I know aquatics are not for me.

    Bluebeard

This scent shows no mercy with the mingling of lavender with the vetiver and violet; it's an angry smell. The second the cap was popped off of the imp, I could swear it almost snarled at me! I use a soft lavender laundry detergent, so I usually associate the smell with comfort and warm fresh clothes, but this is my laundry detergent's evil twin. This is most definitely not something for me as it is more masculine than I really like, but if you're interested in something that really roars when you wear it, Bluebeard is it!
