A decadent, deep perfume, lusty and luxuriant. The scent evokes images of velvet-lined Old West cathouses, tightly laced corsets, rustling petticoats and coquettish snarls of pleasure. Bawdy plum with amaretto, burgundy wine and black currant. First Impression: Cheap-cheerful-cherry. Second Impression: This is the first BPAL scent that smelled exactly the same wet and dry. This smells exactly like cherry incense dry on the stick. Final Analysis: This lacked the depth, mystery and emotion of all the others I have tried so far. I was so hoping I would like this, but we didn't agree at all. Oops, forgot to add: This one has tremendous staying power. The longest lasting of the 18 scents I've tried so far.

Under the forms of payment section on your FAQ's it states "Can I pay by check or money order? Yes, you certainly may. Please keep in mind, however... Send the payment off – along with a completed order form – to..." I was wondering about the "order form". Do you have a specific on in mind that you'd like us to use? This may not be a frequently asked question, but I thought this might be a place I could have it addressed. Forms of payment...Would you accept an American Express Gift Cheque as payment? The AMEX site states that they are acceptable anywhere cash is accepted. I get them as gifts now and again and I'm going to want to spend them on your gorgeous creations, Beth!!! Thanks, Beth.

First Impression: Industrial strength toilet bowl cleaner while wet. My nose is strange today. Second Impression: On immediate dry down "fizzy" comes to mind. That must be the cola that everyone is getting. Love Me developed gloriously on me. All warm flowers and spicy sweet vanilla. I can't even really describe it. Final Analysis: This has taken the top spot on the favorites list. This one has the most spectacular staying power. Over 12 hours later and I can still smell the spicy sweetness on my wrists and in my hair. I had something lovely and eloquent written down but my browser went wonky and wiped it out. Damn you Bill Gates!

My first order was on March 22nd. It was picked up for processing from CCNow on April 1st and my card was charged the same day. I received my order on April 23rd. So that was a month from order to delivery. And it goes without saying totally worth every single bit of it.

First Impression: Another beauty. I get the roses, jasmine and musk. Beautifully blended. Second Impression: The jasmine is subtle, perfectly subtle and doesn't take over the whole scent. The rose is subtle as well, with the musk being the backbone. Final Analysis: I loved this more the longer I wore it. I don't get huge, lush roses, more of petals blowing on a breeze. The musk keeps this warm floral from being flowery and innocent. Sexy, sexy, sexy.

This is a great idea, quinkel! It's good to know which scents are very similar, as when I place an order I don't want any that smell too much alike. My list is short... Queen of Hearts and Endymion smell very similar to my nose. I love them both!

If you're looking for bbw dupes, have a look at mmu cosmetics website. There are tons of scents on the scent bar menu. Mind you, while the mmu fragrances are nice, I've tried a few they can't hold a candle to Beth's magical elixirs. Beth is a master perfumer. Good luck and enjoy your first order.

Hi Viscious Mistress... I did a quick search and came up with these scents... I linked the reviews so you can see if any catch your fancy. Enbalming Fluid Cheshire Cat Baobhan Sith Envy Phobos The Star Jabberwocky I've not tried any of these yet, I like vanilla, spicy and floral. But there are plenty of great feedback in the reviews. We have some mad sensitive noses here!

I have found that Beth's magical elixirs have kept me pretty much in a state of euphoria since my very first sniff. I look forward to my morning grooming rituals more than usual because I know I'll get to choose and apply my special scent of the day and I know it's going to be a great day.

Being patient can be difficult, but now that I've found your magical elixir's Beth, living without them would be far more difficult. I do agree with the other posters about the ties. The ties and labels look lovely, but I cut the ends of the ties first thing. They make it so hard to organize the Imps. Perhaps another labeling system would be more time and cost effective. We want what will make your life easier, Beth. Take good care of yourself.

I've ordered on March 22nd and CCNow has the item as shipped on April 1st. I have gotten no shipping confirmation nor have I received my parcel. I have sent a couple of e-mails to the lab inquiring. I know it's hard work for Beth and Co, but it's also hard not knowing, especially since the money has long gone out. I would love to place a second order but I dare don't until I at least get some sort of confirmation of what's going on. Am I being difficult or are there others of you out there who have the same issues?

I thought Jack was autumn in New England put into a tiny little bottle. It made me homesick for Boston.

First Impression: Oh no, not again! I didn't want to love so many of them. Nor did I ever think I would. Second Impression: Sweet juicy pear, gorgeous musky floral. This surrounded me in juicy wet flowers. So perfect for Easter Sunday. Final Analysis. I wish it were stronger and longer lasting because this scent is exquisite.

The most effective way and the neatest to apply perfume oil (that I've found) is from an applicator with a roller ball top. My all time fave until I've found this site was Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess. It's packaged in a 1/3 ounce glass bottle with a roller top. It's goes on so well this way and is very neat for travel. Here's some and here Has anyone tried this??? I think I might when I order some of the larger size bottles of Beth's divine creations.

First Impression: I never knew I could adore a rosy scent, that is until Beth unleashed her magic. Huge roses on the hottest and most humid of days. Second Impression: Here comes the cinnamon. Shollin put it perfectly... Final Analysis: I like how when the cinnamon blooms, the roses stand up to it. It's very well balance. I like that I've never smelled anything like this. I smell like a one-of-a-kind. We'll see if my hard of smelling husband notices.

This is pure Autumn in New England. So much so it made me homesick. I'm saving this one for Halloween Night!

The third time is the charm. First Impression: Whoa, very strong in the bottle and when wet. Did not like this on me the first time. Second Impression: I didn't like the second time either. Final Analysis: I wore it today and it has captured me. It turned sweet on me, like sweet smoke. At first the amber note knocked me over, but once the dark musk came through it turned very sexy. Works very well with my natural skin smell. I'm happy I gave it another chance. I wonder if changes in hormone levels (I'm a little pms-ish) affected the way this fragrance behaved on my skin...

jj_j, you're not alone. First Impression: In the bottle Vixen smelled like a tempting liquer, had to stop myself from wanting a taste. Second Impression: The opposite of sexy. On me, it turned into dried up Old Lady. I only applied the smallest drop but it over took me. Final Analysis: Utter disappointment! I enjoy all three notes but not in this particular potion. Chemistry

First Impression: This is a royal beaty. Fresh and clean without being green or powdery. Second Impression: This is not the Queen of Hearts as we know her. It's the Queen of Hearts that lives in her distant memory...a princess playing in the flower gardens of Wonderland. Final Analysis: Innocent and fresh but definitely regal. This smelled so good on me, I sniffed and sniffed until there was nothing left.

Pandorra nailed this one perfectly. First Impression: In the bottle and wet, sweet, strong jasmine with a very sour undertone. Perhaps the juniper berry, I always hated that smell. Second Impression: Sourness gone and the sweetness of the jasmine has turned rich and rounded. Final Analysis: I felt very womanly wearing this, it completely enveloped me. Not as much staying power as I would have liked, but definitely something I could wear all spring.

First Impression: O-mazing. This is warm and delish. Second Impression: The balance of the scents in this one is quite perfect. They all harmonize with each other, none of them taking the lead or fading into the background. Final Analysis: Another gorgeous, sexy creation. This smelled lovely on me. It's warm, sexy and sweet, but not foody.
