You know, I always think "I hate coconut" and let it scare me away from stuff that otherwise sounds really good. This time, I took the risk, and I'm so glad. this is beautiful. Straight from the bottle, it's gorgeous. On my skin, it goes mild and sweet without being foodie.

Initial impression: applesweet and crunchy leaves on the sidewalk, the slightly damp smell of the leftover wood in the firepit -- not the bonfire itself, but the perfect day to have one.

My recorded first impression: first impression: love this. Why do I always love the impossible scents? which is not very descriptive at all. LOL. This is sweet red musk and incense to my nose -- everything I love is incense to my nose.

I have cookies, bland and sweet. no spice whatsover to my nose. my pregnancy nose, even. i passed this on so I can't retest it, but I'm surprised to see so much "ginger" listed in reviews.

first impression: sweet and rugged at the same time, the sweet is foodie but whatever it is paired with is decidedly not, so that saves it from foodie. Later: the musk is fading and the vanilla is STRONG. I can detect cherry now that I know it is there but it's work to find it. Like this, but can survive without it.

first impression: oh shit, I love this so much. It's instant. And probably impossible to find. Warm, dry, thick…like incense clung to my skin. it's everything I want it to be. Now that it has had time to work with my body chemistry... I still love it. oh dear oh dear.

on me, this is tea, honey, and something slightly citrus but not sharp. this smells so good to me right now -- even better than when I first sniffed it in an imp, probably because it is aged. it's feminine without being bossy about it -- I'm very glad I swapped for it!

in the bottle -- fresh cut apples, hint of creamy sweet. On me: amazing amazing amazing ugh fake candle apple amazing again. why why why does apple have to have that horrible half hour on me? I love it so.

In the bottle, cranberry apple. On my skin, a clean apple with a little cranberry tartness. I don't get cider at all -- not yet anyway. I've had it on for about a half hour, that's usually enough time for cinnamon to amp and take over on me. I've been really crushing on apple lately but this is not really something I would normally wear. It would make a fantastic room scent, though -- it's cool and clean and not overwhelming, but definitely there. Now that I've evaluated it on it's own I think I will try it with Holy Terror, because I tend to really like the sweet cleans layered with Holy Terror.

Lambswool 2010 I am wondering if I should age this maybe? It's craft store "red apple" and mulling spices, with none of that creamy subtle buttered beer I was hoping for. It's not foodie as in "I want to lick my wrist!" -- it doesn't smell like something lovely heating on the stove or in the oven. Instead, it smells like laying out the ingredients before cooking. The apple is raw, not cooked. At least it's not ZOMG CLOVE but it is also not what I expected from last year's reviews. I suppose it might find it's way into my Scentbug.

Feels sticky, so I bet it will be sweet. Wet, it is cinnamon caramel. I really like this after an hour; it smells a lot like El Dia de los Reyes, but without the chocolate. Warm caramel sweetness, a hint of cinnamon, yet not foodie in the least -- the tobacco is strong enough to keep it from being foodie. I love this and wish I had tried it before I made my order last night. I'd have ordered more for sure.

very warm and sugary, sweet outdoor molasses honey. I do not get anything green from this, nor do I get boozy. There might be an almost root beer / cream soda undervibe to it now that I've wore it for a few hours, but I think that's just molasses and honey on my skin.
