Originally this was sandalwood and powder - a definite swap, but it turned into a lovely sandalwood incense and smoke exactly like the first pack of incense I ever got as a kid Too light to keep, unfortunately.

Brown sugar and clove predominate for me with this one. Smells a lot like a pantry Safe to say it's better off in my swap pile so someone else can enjoy it.

Ooh. Very dry coconut. There's almost a dirt quality to this one. Not overly sweet and the pepper is a nice touch! Not something I need to hold onto, though.

Hmm I get the pale flowers and dusty resin and just a hint of the blood note. This is very faint and smoky on me. Makes a great scent picture Not one I'd reach for often, though.

I so, so wish this would morph, but it keeps on smelling like shampoo. Sad day. To the swaps!

This starts out on such a good foot with the quince and honey, but it ends up a boozy, powdery mush when the cognac spoils the party To the swaps!

I've tried this one again and again and I've finally wrapped my brain around the fact this really doesn't want to work on me Damn you amber!! You and your powdery face interrupting the nice ozone and cardamom!

This is a sweet, powdery floral. Crystalline is a perfect descriptive for it. If only the dratted amber wouldn't go quite so powdery on me all the time I'd probably give this one more of a chance. Not for me, though.

This definitely smells as complex as the listed notes but it never really takes off for me. It's very nice but I get a faint dusty carnation and incense with a hint of labdanum. Pretty, for sure, but not necessarily a keeper on me.

I just don't get it When the decant was brand new it smelled aMAZing on me and it's made up of my favorite notes..but several months later it smells really, really not good. Maybe my skin is being weird right now but it's harsh wood - almost varnished wood. Not a fan at this point. I'll retest but I've never had something age to be so different from where it began. Maybe it just needs longer to morph on my skin or something. Sigh.

This is a sweet, extremely faint aquatic floral. Very pretty and smooth. It started out with a worrisome trend towards a generic "ocean" bath salts smell if that makes sense, but it quickly transitioned to a gentle and fairly complex blend. Lovely, but not something I amp very well.

This really should have worked I love the notes and it seemed like it would be total win, but not so. Went hardcore floral with powdery vanilla way in the background. To the swaps!

It's not listed in the ingredients, but i could have sworn there was lavender in here. It's a gentle, dusty leather and lavender scent on me. After about an hour it starts to fade and ends up smelling as I hoped Famine would on me, but gets a faint sour tinge to it at the very end so it's not meant to be

Definitely true to its scent name, but a little on the Christmas candle side for me :/

This is a very sweet, foody blend on me. Rum and caramel. Very nice, but not something I'd wear enough to keep.

Good stuff! This was probably my favorite of the year's Lupercalias. Cognac is usually not my friend, but this is a rich..juicy is the only thing I can think of to describe it, mix of leather, wood, and tobacco. Suuuuper masculine which is A+ for me. Yeah..juicy..it's a weird description but this oil is oh so awesome!

Odds were about 50/50 on this one and alas, 'twas not meant to be. This musk went the way of Velvet Nudie and the addition of amber made this a very powdery, "surface level" scent. The coconut just couldn't save it

With the ginger, musk, and spices I wondered if this would turn out like War which was an utter train wreck on me. This works ever so much better! This is creamy and sweet with a lovely, rich red musk. i compared it to Infernal Lover and this is a bit synthetic smelling in comparison, but it is very nice indeed!

Light, salty aquatic at first and then it smashes you over the head with leaves Thick, wet, abraded leaves dripping with water. It becomes a sweet, foggy scent kind of hovering around. I'll hold onto this one for more testing. Love my water scents!!

Incense and woodsmoke! Goes on as pure smoke but the spiciness of the incense shows up pretty quick. Dark and comforting. Light throw, but a keeper, for sure

Oh my! Creamy, honeyed red musk. Absolutely freakin gorgeous! Amps well and is just what I was hoping for with War and Ifrit from the Gaiman series. Super sexy. Keeper, keeper, keeper.

This was indeed an interesting one! Goes on very aquatic with some dark herbs. It's very green and I can picture the fungal aspect but it's not bitter or sour, just..odd.. Quite fresh I like this very much as an interesting aquatic, but I'm not sure how often I'd reach for it.

This was an interesting one. Floral, definitely, but spicy sandalwood came through quite strongly. After a few hours it turned quite masculine and nice with a deep, dark spiciness. Not a keeper for me but very cool.
