In the imp: Heavy...gunpowder, wood, and metal. Something underneath is making this more feminine, powdery and sweet. It's very faint. Not throwing me off as the usual patchouli scent does. We'll see.. Wet: Patchouli and sandalwood. Smelled nicer in the bottle than on my skin... Dry: That light powdery sweet scent is coming out! Woody frankincense, I think. I'm getting a citrus powder floral sill. Can't put my finger on it! Overall: Smells so much nicer on the dry down. Was not expecting to like this at all. Nice, feminine cologne.

    Red Devil

In the imp: The first time I opened the imp a few days ago I smelled all spice and cinnamon, a touch of almond in the background. Today, It's all almost, a bit of cherry cinnamon in the background. Generally, spicy almond scent. Wet: All almonds. Like Queen of Sheba, but spicier, redder, juicier. This is sexy almonds. Yum! Dry: Getting a floral. This doesn't have a lot of throw, but it does last a long time. Very cherry cinnamon. Sweet cinnamon. Some floral in the background, dunno what. Like synthetic yankee candle lilac. Heavy sweet floral. Overall: I don't like it much in the imp, I'm not a fan of almonds, but When this dries it smells sexy! I will wear this, definitely!

    Windward Passage

In the Imp: Smells a bit like Irish Spring. Citrus, water, refreshing clean and green. Wet: Astringent. Still refreshing but a bit strong. Dry: Very faint, but still clean and refreshing. The astringent smell fades, and it's a light salty and citrus aquatic. Overall: Love how refreshing and clean this smells. Doesn't last long at all, though, and it's a bit too masculine for me. Will give the imp to my boyfriend and see if he'll wear this!

    The Peacock Queen

I think I found my favorite rose scent, aka, my favorite BPAL!! In the bottle: This is what I thought Rose Red (or even The Rose) would smell like, velvety luscious, sweet, powdery red rose. This is it! This smells like this rose jam my aunt used to make, red rose petals and sugar. It's delicious smelling, heady, sexy, sweet, I love it. This is all rose. No stem, not dew, Just sweet, powdery, red, red rose! Love it. Wet: Same as in bottle, no morphing here. Dry: Also the same as in bottle. Although this fades more quickly than Rose Red or the Rose, it still lasts a very long time for a floral. Overall:Again, this is my new favorite BPAL...Took a while to find something to replace Helena, but I found it!

    Ded Moroz

In the bottle: Snow, white florals, smell a bit of dirt. Smells like cologne more than perfume. I also get a whiff of patchouli and sandalwood, but only the first initial smell from the bottle. When I hold my nose to it, I don't smell it anymore. Wet: Mint, florals and snow. I can definitely smell peppermint gum, not sugary sweet but, peppermint nonetheless. The florals are masculine, a bit like cologne. Very white and crisp. Dry: The peppermint fades and I can barely smell the snow, but the cologne florals are still there. Very light and faint, but lasts a long time despite how light it is. Overall: This starts off very masculine, and dries down to a light floral and snow. I'm leaning more toward giving this scent to my boyfriend. Love it, but a bit on the masculine side for me. Lasts a long time. Overall, great scent. Not my favorite Yule, but definitely keeping this one!!

    Leaf-Strewn Couch

In the bottle: Pretty accurate to the description and the photograph. Smells old and dusty. Like Velevet, except with dry, decaying leaves and dirt in the background. Wet: Exactly as it smells in the bottle. The leaves and dirt aren't as pronounced as they are in the bottle, but still pretty much the same. Dry: Not a very long lasting scent, strangely. None of the WKAP scents have had a lot of thrown nor have they lasted long on my skin. Overall: Not my favorite Amanda Palmer scent. Not sure if I could wear this in a day to day basis, but it is an interesting concept and fits the description of the photograph perfectly.

    Tweedledee

In the imp: Sweet apricot/tangerine/MANGO candy. Very orange colored. Wet: Same as in imp. Very, sweet, almost too sweet. Dry: Smells cleaner and not as heavily sugared, white colored now, I suppose. Definitely smell the white tea. The white pepper I'm not too sure about. I love White Rabbit, which contains white pepper, but Tweedledee reminds me in no way of White Rabbit. Overall: Starts off a bit too sweet for my taste, but lasts all day long! And it doesn't bother me really, as most too sweet scents do. I'll use my imp.

    Dragon's Milk

In the imp: Exactly as the description state, sweet resin dragon's blood. And there's foody vanilla and yummy honey! It's the vanilla in O, and I love it. Wet: The dragon's blood isn't as overpowering as in some of the other ars draconis scents. The vanilla and honey are more pronounced. I'm glad, because I'm, not really a fan of dragon's blood on my skin, but it's not bothering me in this. Dry: Definitely the vanilla in O! Love it! I didn't think I would, but I adore honey, and it's the vanilla that doesn't turn to plastic or musk on my skin. The dragon's blood is very faint in the background. Overall: Of the dragon's blood scents, this is definitely my favorite. I think it's because it's not a true resin scent, but a more sweet powdery scent. The vanilla isn't plastic, and honey is always yummy. Will definitely use my imp!

    Shadow Witch Orchid

In the imp: Soapy, fruity, floral. I'm not too familiar with orchid, but this smells familiar. A bit of lily, perhaps. Wet: Soapy, like gardenia or lilies. But there's something underneath that I'm enjoying. Won't wash it off just yet. Dry: The soap fades and I faintly smell raspberries and sweet pea? Strange. Smells a bit like lipstick. Overall: Morphs strangely. It's an interesting smell, especially the lipstick. Don't dislike it, don't love it. I'll have to wear it again to fully decide.

    Queen Alice

Here is my review of Alice: This is the review I would give Queen Alice, except being girly perfume, It's girly perfume mixed with old lady perfume. It's alice with a soapiness underneath that just doesn't work with my skin chemistry. I was expecting to like this more than Alice, but it turned out to be the opposite!

    The Jersey Devil

In the imp: Not what I expected at all. Sweeter than expected, smell the dry tomatoe leaf, definitely and the tart cranberry. Wet: Oh, no. Smells like B.O. It has some floral note, or fruit note that does not work well with my skin. It's smells similar to 'Egle'. I might have to wash this off. Dry: Oooh...Unlike 'Egle' the bo scent fades on my skin and it turns very dry and woody. Like a pine cone, or a pine box. There's still something sweet underlying the dry wood, but it's faint. Overall: I don't like it wet, but I could wear this dry. I might even be willing to wait for it to dry just to get to the drydown. I'll wear this in winter. Smells like a forest without snow. Like it.

    The Knave of Hearts

Crushed roses and blackcurrant tarts. In the imp: Vanilla gingerbread cookie candle. With sugar on top. Yummy! Wet: Similar to the bottle. Smells more like a candle now than like an actual cookie, b ut still good. Dry: Smells pretty much as it does in the bottle. No morphing here. Overall: Not what I expected at all! I don't get roses, which is why I wanted this imp in the first place. No powdery floral here. This is all foody. And unlike 'Eat Me,' This scent stays true from bottle to drydown on my skin. No strange vanilla and no burning cinnamon/ginger. And this smells like a vanilla gingerbread cookie. Definitely a foody scent I could wear. And It lasted all day! One of my favorite Alice scents!

    Stinky

Not what I was expecting at all!! In the bottle: This smells exactly like Katrina Van Tassel! I thought this was going to smell light, clean and powdery, or at least a little sour like 'White Rabbit". But this is creamy and feminine. Wet: No more Katrina Van Tassel. This turns a little creamy, a little musky, not really clean and pretty anymore. Something in this is bothering me. Ol dcaramel milk flowers. That's what it smells like. Dry: I had to wash this off. Not what I was expecting at all. Overall: In the bottle it smells lovely. But, on my skin it smelled a bit nasty. As if it went bad. I love milk and honey, and I adore baby powder. But I got none of that, and that's all I wanted. Off to swap.

    Berry Moon 2009

I've had this scent since it came out and I never reviewed it! In the bottle: Pale musk and blue berries and another red berry, but doesn't not smell like raspberry. Very yummy!! Wet: Smells like sweet artificial berries. Like blue raspberry lollipops. I was hoping for more of a natural strawberry moon smell, but I like it anyway. Dry: Some thing creamy and musky comes out. Not really berrylike anymore. Not too sweet, but very heavy and creamy. Overall: Not really what I had hoped, especially when dry. But, it's still pretty. A bit too heavy for hot and humid summer, so I'll wear in in fall or spring.

    Unexpected Golf Hazard

In the bottle: Freshly mowed grass, with the sprinklers on. Wet: Smells liked grass, sprinklers and wet soil. The wet soil part really stands out on my skin, and the grass isn't as strong as it was out of the bottle. Dry: Soap. The grass is gone. The watery smell is gone. The soil smell isn't there. It's just soap. And I don't understand where it's coming from. Usually lilies turn to soap on me, but 'daylilies at the bottom of the stairs' didn't turn soapy on me. Strange. Overall: I was most excited about this Amanda Palmer scent, but alas, it doesn't like me. Lovely green grass smell, but it morphs from wet to dry too much and the end result isn't pleasant. Will swap.

Daylilies at the Bottom of the Stairs

The only disapointment I have with this scent is that it fades very quickly. In the bottle: Very green, slightly sweet floral. I get a bit of a woody smell in the background, but it's very faint. I get more grass than anything else. Wet: Smells pretty much like it does in the bottle. Very pretty. King of reminds me of the scent 'Ralph', except it's not as sweet and heavy. Ooh, I also get Gap's 'Grass' from this. This smells more like a perfume than an oil, I guess, is what I'm trying to say. Dry: Doesn't lase very long. Already fading, smells pretty much the same from bottle to drydown. Not much morphing here. Overall: I prefer the 'Occurance at the Diner' scent more than this because that one lasts longer on my skin. But this is pretty. Daylilies and grass. Crisp, fresh and light.

    Marquise de Merteuil

In the imp: Apple resin. Finally, apples I like!! Wet: Ok, it's peach or nectarine or apricot. i don't know. Sweet fruit. And generic florals. I've learned that any florals are generic, as much as I like them, floers are flowers. So, this, wet, is peachy flowers. Sweet, and yummy. Dry: Reminds me of a candy I had in Poland. Don't remember what it was, but it fruity, light, and sweet. Overall: A very generic fruity floral. Nothing special to me personally. There are only certain forals I really like. I like this, but only to use the imp. I do love peach, nectarine, etc...scents, so I'll use the imp, but won't get a bottle.

    Sacred Whore of Babylon

In the imp: Sweet smokey cinnamon and vanilla. Sweet, more than smokey or spicy. I"m not one for vanilla, and I'm allergic to cinnamon (I think at this point. I'm not sure which spice makes me burn) I like this. Wet: Sweet and spicy floral vanilla. Wow, I can't really pinpoint a specific scent. I smell cinnamon an florals. There are florals, but I can't tell which. Dry: Doesn't really change. More floral than I want it to be. I like florals, but this could b soapy if I wear it longer, but I've been wearing it for a while. It's bordering. It's a cinnamon generic floral Overall: I like this more than I thought I would. The spicy scent isn't really affecting my skin as much as it usually does, so that's good sign. I'll wear the imp, but sparingly. I like florals, I like spice, but it migt turn weird on me depending on the time of the month...you know..I'll see later, when I wear it again.

    Mag Mell

In the imp: Clean lemon, and something faintly sweet, like cake. Like a lemon bar. Very clean and crisp. Wet: Lemon cake. The powdery amber is turning to cake on my skin. I don't really mind, but I don't really want to smell like food either. Dry: Very faint. The ginger and verbena almost faded. I mostly smell something watery, grassy. A very light and clean and pleasant smell. Overall: I really like scents like this. I was expecting more amber, as amber amps on my skin. But this was all ginger and verbena. To bad it fades so quickly.

    The Miller's Daughter

In the imp: Golden hay or straw. Not like Scarecrow (dry and almost burning hay) but bright and fresh hay. Wet: Golden straw, and I'm getting the powdery amber and rose very faintly in the background. This is very golden and bright. Pretty much what I expected. Dry: Rose amber! Sweet, I'm getting a bit of lemon. The hay and gold have faded, and it's pretty, feminine baby powder. I want to bathe in this. Reminds me a bit of Helena, except this fades more quickly. Overall: This is definitely something I would wear. Slightly sweet and feminine and powdery. This is rose amber. If there was just some honey added, this would be my favorite blend! Will get a bottle of this.

    Voodoo Lily

In the imp: Very light purple cinnamon candy. Eh. Wet: Exactly as the description! Spicy gold. Very bright, but sweet and dark at the same time. Very purple. Very, very purple. I dunno..it's exactly like the description. I want to bathe in my wrist. It's gorgeous and regal. A bold scent with much throw. Dry: Smells like new car and plastic suntan lotion. Cars make me sick. I have to wash this off. Overall: If this didn't dry, I'd wear it all the time! I have to accept the fact that lilies just don't work with my skin chemistry.

    Seraglio

In the imp: Mazipan. This is Queen of Sheba. I'm slightly dissapinted. Wet: Rose! Rose and sweet orange. I love it. No almond anymore at all. Dry: Spicy orange rose. I get a bit of cinnamon from this. Sugared orange peel, spiced with clove in a bit of tea water. It's a bit like candy, but it's not horribly sweet. Overall: I really like this. Especially since that initial almond note fades quickly. Lovely rose, the cinnamon/clove scent gives it a kick. Great blend, will definitely finish my imp.

    Niflheim

In the imp: Aquatic cedar with sweet florals. Some lemon or ginger. Much sweeter than I thought it would be. Wet: Mostly cedar. The florals are in the background. Dry: The cedar is fading, but still stays. This isn't as dark as I thought it would be. The florals are bright and sweet. More watery than damp. I like it. Overall: A bit too much wood scent for my taste. If it was just the lemon aquatic florals, I would love this! That one cedar note is throwing me off. I'll wear the imp nonetheless.
