  1. Pain is making me vulgar, and when my boss asked me why I'm going so slowly today and seem distracted, I said, "Because my vagina is dialating."

*snort* Well, that is quite humorous to me.

I wish you could have stayed home. Sorry you have to go through this. Hope its not too bad...

  2. PHANTASM From Bewitching Brews:

    Initial:

What is that? Lemon? Something smells sour to me. Its okay but I don’t care for that sour bite. It smells like cleaner of some sort. There MAY be floral underneath it all. I’m gonna have to look at the description, my curiosity is killing me.

    During:

The sour bite has softened. But there is something underneath that smells like my Great-Grandma’s house used to smell. And that’s not a good thing for me. Maybe its my body chemistry. I can smell the freshness over this funny staleness though.

    Final:

I apply at 8:00AM. It was gone by 10:30. The last moments of its life were soft and gentle, but for the most part I couldn’t get past that funny thick stale scent. Mothballs? Maybe I don’t like jasmine?? It may have been my body chemistry. It wasn’t horrible. And I can see that others may like this soft scent, but it's not for me.

  3. initial:

oh this is way too sweet. my teeth hurt.

    during:

I cant smell carnation. (I bought everything with carnation in hopes of finding a suitable Potion replacement). I think I smell milk and sugar. Definitely makes me think of a little girl playing with her tea set and serving little cakes.

    final:

I had to wash it off. It actually made me naseus. I felt like I had eaten a whole box of candy or a whole cake and made myself sick.

Much too sickly, sugary, sweet for me. This will be swapped.

  4. Lemon was all I could smell at first. And I don't care for that. But it mellowed out and became quite pleasant. I think crisp and I see/feel green. I immediately thought of this body spray I bought a while back called Green Tea. Its refreshing and I thought it would be great for a summer day.

I will definitely use up my Imp's Ear.

  5. Desdemona

    Initial:

Gorgeous wet. Carnation and floral. Feminine. It reminds me of my childhood, I’m not sure why. There’s something intriguing underneath this floral though, like a slinky pink slip underneath the utterly feminine and innocent cotton white sundress.

    During:

I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. It is still making me think of when I was young. In my bedroom and the window is open and it’s a sunny spring day outside and my pink and lavender curtains are fluttering in the breeze. It’s quiet, and I am looking forward to the simple lunch my mum will have for my soon. Potion lovers should like this. I can’t believe how wonderfully this will boost my Potion. I am not usually into pure florals, but this is simply beautiful.

    Final:

lovely, soft, and feminine. I smell carnation, but it’s not totally predominant. It’s balanced with other things. Very feminine, young, spring like. I want to be in a garden holding a basket of flowers on a beautiful spring day. The scent was quite lasting which is surprising for me. Nothing lasts on me. I applied it this morning at 8:00, and its already 2:00 and the scent has finally diminished. It goes great with Potion lotion. I will buy a regular sized bottle of this.

    Added:

I don't sense the watery smell that others have, but maybe I don't know what a watery smell smells like.

  6. This smells just like the typical men's cologne you get at the dept. store counter. Thats not a bad thing, it's quite nice. Lime? But not strong lime, its definitely balanced with everything else. My dad and mum even liked it, and it was nice on The Man. I can see wearing this to go out with the In Laws or a job interview, etc.

EDIT: I merged this post into the existing Villain review thread. --Shollin

  7. I didn't care for this one when I sniffed it in the bottle and ignored it this morning. But I brought my oils to my parents tonight and when I opened it for mum to smell I imediately thought of opium and she loved it. We both put it on and I didn't care for the patchouli smell. My mum was unsure and said she smelled dirt or a tree. It burned my skin and turned utterly lovely on her.

She took the vial, and I no longer own Masquerade.

  8. Maiden. Okay, I'm trying to be a little organized in "scent tasting."

Initial: Spicy floral. Cant pick out carnation but it must be there since I do smell a spiciness. Like a grown up frilly floral. Not a wimpy frilly. Something is kind of smelling stale or maybe that's powdery.

During: Floral and powdery. I smell carnation but it's muted with the powder I seem to smell. Its disturbing that one of my wrists smells different than the other.

Final: Powdery. It catches in my throat and its a little too sweet for me. I have looked at the description now and I noticed that I never detected the tea, which is disappointing. The scent also faded quite quickly on me. This will be a swap away.

  9. Its soft and sweet to me. Im not sure I can pick out any carnation, it must be mixed with musk and spices. Its not a sickly food type sweet. It's a dusty sweet. It made me think of being in a dim cool room with the heat of the desert and bustle of people outside. Its a room with red and gold rugs and dusty books and brass incense burners.

*shrug* Im terrible with scents and I'm not sure why that image came to mind when I wore this one. But I thought I'd post it before I forgot or lost the image and mood.

It may be a little to sweet for me. The Man thought it was nice on me. I will have to try it again.

  10. Oh, I just got an email saying that my order has shipped. I am thrilled! My first instinct was to respond with a thank you, but I realized the last thing she needs is frivalous email... So I will just say thank you right here! (i swear I almost started dancing around my office...silly me..)

  11. it also helps trying to match a name with his personality. Like my guy, he is obsessed with Wolverine from X-Men, acts like it too sometimes :D  :P .... anyway, thinking of that, I got him Loup Garou and Fenris Wolf. They worked really well on him.

that did help. Jolly Roger sounded good to him as he was a sailor. I hope that one works for him. It sounds good.
