    The Last Unicorn

I was concerned when I first applied this, because the white chocolate was doing that funk thing that it sometimes does on my skin. As it dried, the funk disappeared and I was left with something pretty awesome. Sweet and a bit floral but with a hint of something earthy and smooth. I really like this.

    The Lilac Wood

Grassy and lots of lilac, with a hint of soft woods and a light musk. This does go a little soapy on my skin, but it's not screaming at me.

    The Phoenix in Autumn

On me, the patchouli and the teak are definite forerunners. This starts off a little sharp, but quickly rounds out during wear. The dry leaves come out a bit more, as does the ivy, as it dries. The tonka adds a bit of sweetness, but not too much. Normally, I'm not one for coffee in a scent, but there's just a hint of it here that really adds to everything.

    Heroine

Hrmmmm, this is predominantly apple blossom on my skin. Several hours in the patchouli comes out, but it still acts as a supporting player to the apple blossom. The amber and the musks help to ground this a bit. I'm not getting much in the way of leather. Overall, this is lighter than I expected it to be. I'm interested to see how this will age.

    The Russian Dance

On my skin this is slightly sharp, with the tea taking a front seat. The iris is more prevalent in the wet stages as opposed to the drydoen. The patchouli adds an earthy tang, while the champaca adds a sweetness. There's just a hint of vanillin benzoin here. It's smokey and incensey and just plain LOVE!

    The Spanish Dance

This was primarily pomegranate on my skin, with hints of chocolate. You really had to search for the orange blossom. I agree that it is similar to Pom IV from this year. It's sweet, and a little dusty. I quite like it.

    Sugar Plum Fairy

Queen of the Kingdom of Sweets: sugar plums, vanilla-infused sugar, tiare, amber musk, apricot peel, and a light dusting of cacao. Ok, I will admit that in the bottle and when first applied, I do get hints of watermelon jolly ranchers. However, as this dries, the similarity disappears on my skin and I am left with a softly sugared scent with the amber musk providing a depth to it. It does have a creamy sweetness, but the tiare is present enough that it doesn't smell like overwhelmingly sugared fruit. It's quite pretty, but it may be a little "light" for me. I like my scents with a bit of an edge. However, this may be awesome for summer!

    Winter-Time

Sweet, soft snow. Minty and piney, but with a touch of sweetness. I can also detect a hint of smoke once it dries on my skin. This is a really hard scent to describe. I've not smelled a yule scent like it. I actually quite like it, and I am not a fan of ozone, or slushy scents.

The First of the Three Spirits

I get a fruity-floral vibe from this. I agree with the comparisons to The Girl and the like. On my skin the vanilla stays pretty cool. The white musk starts amping a bit on me. It's a little crisp for me.

    Chanukkiyah

This starts incredibly foody on me. As it wears, it loses the foody tinge. There seems to be a pastry overtone in the wet stages that disappears as it dries. The end result on my skin is pomegranate and amber, with a hint of fig and beeswax in the background. It's not overly fruity or foody, and the amber adds a touch of depth.

    Incessant Torture of Remorse

On me, this starts really lavender-heavy. The lavender is a very herbal one, and as it dries, the blackberry comes out a little more. My skin does not like blackberry, so this starts going a little funky on me. The blackberry and lavender contribute to a dark purple kind of vibe here, and the opoponax adds an incensey tinge. I agree that this shares some similarity to Misercordia and On Darkness. Overall though, the blackberry ruins this for me. Damn skin chemistry.

    Changing the Shadows

Orange blossom and tea are the predominant notes on my skin. The vanilla sweetens this up a little bit, but the tea keeps it from getting too sweet. The carnation here is really light on my skin. It's quite beautiful really.

    Noche Buena

Heady floral on me. This is primarily lilies and chrysanthemums on my skin. There's a faint hint of incense underneath, but you've really got to seek it out. It's very pretty, but it's too floral for my tastes. As it wears, it does go a little soapy on my skin.

    Ignorance and Want

This is very medicinal and herb-y on my skin. Wet the wormwood and patchouli are definitely on the forefront. As it dries, the carrot seed and bog myrtle come out. It's dry, and something smells "chemical-y". Clearly this does not work on my skin.

    The Waltz of the Snowflakes

This smells a lot like Snow White on my skin. Snow White, with a hint of evergreen. The evergreen isn't as predominant as I would have hoped. As it dries, the vanilla comes out more and the Snow White vibe disappears. It becomes a little cloying the longer it wears. Not for me.

    Klara

I very much agree with the description that Klara is very much like Alice and Hope combined. There's a soft, sweet, girlyness to this blend. It's a little powdery on my skin. It's pretty, but it's a little too girly for me.

    The Shadowy And The Sublime

And to think I almost completely passed this one by! This is awesome! So much awesome! It's sweet without being vanillic, soft without wearing too close. There a freshness to it, but it's not aquatic or ozoney in the slightest. The amber and myrrh ground this scent, and the rose doesn't amp to all hell on my skin. There's a softness to the florals that makes it wearable, and I find on my skin it's got the same vibe as Joyful Moon. Cozy and mysterious. And a hint of vintage. Love.

    Sibyl

I get vanilla and musk mostly here. There is a hint of cognac and honey underneath. It's sweet and cozily sexy if that makes sense. As it wears, the tea rose comes out a little more, but it doesn't amp like rose has been known to do on my skin. There's a smoky quality to this at a length. But not if I put my nose up to my skin. I do get a similarity to Dorian, but I wouldn't say you'd mistake the two for each other.

    Tuberose

This is very creamy/sweet/floral on my skin. It is instantly recognizable from some of the scents I've tried. It does smell rather "clean" for my liking, but an elegant and sophisticated "clean" nonetheless.

    Mr. Croup

This went surprisingly cologney on my skin. I blame the porcelain. It started out heavy on the tonka and musk. Dark, sweet and slightly vanillic. But as it wore, a sharper edge came out. It wasn't ozone but it had that same cold and bracing feel to it. I liked this but it was too masculine for me.

    Daphne Honey

Florals and greenery and something vaguely fruity mixed with honey. This started off quite sharp on my skin and eventually dried down to something a little smoother. Nice, but a little too perfumey for my tastes.
  22. crebbsgirl

    Black Hellebore Honey

Sweet honey with an herbal mint undertone. This smells like the same honey from O on my skin. The herbs prevent this from going too sweet.
  23. crebbsgirl

    Tobacco Honey

This was crazy sweet! I was expecting something a little darker and smoother, but this was sticky and almost cloying. The tobacco adds a little depth, but this was just too sweet for me.

    The Death-Horse

This is exactly lily-of-the-valley and oppoponax. It's a powdery, sharp floral combined with a sweet dark resin. It's not so nice on my skin because my skin does horrible things to white florals, but I can see how this would be absolutely gorgeous on someone with different skin chemistry.

    The Night-Raven

This. Is. Awesome. The jasmine stays very subtle here. There also doesn't seem to be a very prominent rose note on my skin. There's dark fruit and a vanillic benzoin. Dark, sweet and mysterious, just as z states above.
