I received a frottle of 13 from the Lab, but I have no idea which year it's from. It has a plain dark red/burgundy label with black tattoo-like font on it that says 13. Thanks for any help in advance!

I ordered an Imp of High John and it smells divine! And seems to work as well

However all the oils in the other vials are christal clear while High John is a milky yellow and not transparant.

this is quite the dumb question

but here's a little history for the non-busties (or the not-at-the-time-i-rambled-about-this-busties):

snake oil loves me

i love snake oil

BUT

a very little snake oil goes a loooooooong way on me

and i'm talking literally one drop is on the borderline between enough/too much

i thought about using a carrier oil to dilute it, but decided that's more effort than it's worth

so anyways, i have a 10 ml bottle of it, coz i do love it. but, since i have to be careful to get not alot on me, i haven't figured out how to apply it. for awhile, i was taking the wand from my sample, but my sister has my sample these days so that's not even an option...

ive been thinking about getting one of those bottles with droppers, but i'm not sure if i should (i'm moving in 2.5 months, and probably moving 3 months after that - the first out of my apartment here and into my parents' or summer employment, the second from my parents/summer employment to my new school, where i'll happily live for the next 2-6 years) - if they can't keep the top on that well, that'd majorly suck.

Not only with these oils but also any perfume in general - I get terrible awful migraines - not usually triggered by scents (though sometimes). But once it is triggered, scent kills me (even something innocuous like bread will make me nauseous). What's a good way to get smell from myself - just plain water? Soap and water (usually, soap won't bother me, just overly floral, spicy, or foody scents)? Alcohol wipes? I dunno.

Oh... and by the way - peppermint oil is my GODSEND when I've got a headache. It helps while the meds kick in. *mwa* *mwa*

Hello everyone, this is my first post on the site and I wasn't sure which section to post this in so I apologize if it's in the wrong place!

I recently made my third BPAL order (which, I must say, was gargantuan) and as well as a mass of imps decided to purchase full bottles of three of my favourite samples (Cleric, Dance of Death and The Caterpillar) from a previous order. Upon opening the bottles I was immediately struck by the fact that they smelt quite different to the imps I had received previously. They all smelt pleasant and 2 of the 3 were vaguely reminiscent of what I had loved before but still remarkably different. Dance of Death was the most like what I remembered, just much fresher, brighter and less dry than the imp. I assume that after sitting to rest for a while it will smell more like it did before. Cleric is still lovely but does not have the strong rose incense-y warmth that I fell in love with last time, and The Caterpillar smells like a pretty floral but completely different to the somewhat heavy, incense-laden scent of the imp. Some of the new imps I have tried also lack the smoky incense scent that I expected and others described (I am definitely an incense lover if that wasn't obvious!). I considered it could be a matter of skin chemistry not amplifying certain notes but I have not had that problem with incense before. Is this something anyone else has experienced or am I just losing it? Could it perhaps be that they need to age for a while, since I assume the imps I had last year could have maybe rested for a few weeks before I got them?

Also, take a shot every time I say incense..

	Hi all!

Hope this isn't a sacrilegious question to ask!

I've accumulated quite a few BPAL scents over the years. I love most of them, but others I have hardly used - some are great in the bottle but not on my skin, others I got because I was curious about a scent only to find I don't like wearing a particular note that I otherwise enjoy (myrrh is the biggest culprit, sadly). I'm very tempted by a few of the Yule 2023 scents but I feel bad ordering more when I've already got a good bunch, so I want to use up some of the ones I have.

Can someone suggest ways to use the oils other than as perfume?

	Thanks in advance!

Edit: Thought I'd add this here instead of making a new thread but... a couple of things I was thinking was anointing candles and using in an oil diffuser, but I know with some scents and brands the heat could potentially break down the oils into stuff that I shouldn't be inhaling... any advice there regarding BPAL specifically?

This may be an idiot question, but there's really no way to ask something so basic without sounding like a moron, so here it goes: "What are the hair glosses for?"

	There I said it.

Now clearly the obvious answer is a deadpan "Your hair." but more specifically are they just for scent purposes, are they a leave-in conditioner, should they go on clean/dirty/wet hair..? I'd been ignoring them since I didn't "Get it" but I got one as a freebie from paperflower's winter decant circle and it really does smell great. So to avoid it sitting around gathering dust in my bathroom for the next few years I decided to reach out for help. How do you use your hair gloss?

I'm sorting my imps and i've noticed that some of them have a more blue tint to the labels! The black is a blue-tinged black, and the shading around the names is more purple than red.

I've also noticed that the fonts sometimes have the faintest difference. Some are a little clearer and bolder, maybe a fraction of a point bigger. (between multiple copies of the same scent)

Is this a known way of dating your imps? Is it merely that they were running low on toner when printing those labels?

Once you place your order with us -- through the web site, by mail or through CcNow -- it is final. No swap outs, no substitutions, no add-on's, no combining orders. I hate to do this, but it has caused far too many problems and is slowing up the packing and shipping process terribly. We do not have the manpower to cross-reference everything, and since every third order required some sort of post-order alteration... we were running into too many problems.
