Maybe the pics I took on my road trip adventures this summer. I hit the road on my own and saw eleven Tori concerts in June and July, and tried to take in some of the sights and experiences along the way while masking and testing to avoid getting/spreading COVID.

- I don't think I have any holiday specific favorites. I miss caramels and milk chocolates in general because I can't have dairy, so if you find dairy free versions that would be a treat, but luckily I love dark chocolate too. If you are up to making anything dairy free from scratch it would be very much appreciated. I enjoy cookies and bars and krispie treats.

I make lightweight hairfalls, the kind that can be attached to a pony  tail or to pig tails. They are good for those of us that are more tender-headed. I use a variety of materials like shibori ribbon, and puffy yarns and pieces of lace and silk. You can use them for every day or as part of your Weenie costume. Is this of interest to you? If so tell me what length, what color(s) and if you want one for a pony tail or two for pig tails.

During my recent travels I got to experience the incredible delight of Serge Luten perfumers here in Paris (imagine if the Lab and Anna Sui made babies inside a Cadbury Cream Egg decorated with stained glass windows and...you've come close to the experience of being in that shop). Anyway, after spending gobs of monies, they loaded me up with delectable samples of their insanely expensive wares- do you want some???

- see normally I am resistant to trying new perfumes but this is on the basis that I become obsessed with something else the way I am obsessed with BPAL and I just don't have the capacity for that. It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). - generally I try to avoid getting new mugs because I have so many, but I got used to a taller/larger capacity mug recently and then I broke it, so it would be cool to get a nice big mug, like 16-20oz maybe? I'm not sure about a seasonal mug tho, I'm not really good at describing the type of thing I like. black cat themed would be cool I suppose? - I do like stickers, but I find little use for the ones with characters/people/faces on them.

- I did not say anything about gemstones on the survey because who is really going to get me a sapphire? but maybe I am misinterpreting the question. if you do want to get me a very fancy rock I would prefer that it be antique or lab created, I don't really want to support gemstone mining. altho I guess other crystals/rocks may also have icky labor practices that I don't know about? so that is an interesting new thought for today. but rocks and crystal type things I appreciate include citrine, all the fun colors of fluorite, moonstone, spiderweb obsidian, septarian, any interesting sort of jasper. So Witchee mine, are you a spellworker? - any interest  in acorns from a tree known as The Mother Oak at my Ren Fest grounds.  It is the biggest tree I've ever seen in MI.  It is cared for by tree scientists  from MSU.  It is the mom to every other oak on the grounds.   Saturday is Mabon & I will go & gather acorns before the park opens to patrons as I do each year.  But this time it's  actual Mabon.  So Witchee dearest, would you like some?

- I do not collect gnomes but they are great! I have the Lawn Gnome scent from BPAL and it is a good one.

- cleaning the ceiling fan blades and air return vents, lol. clearing away garden clutter and waiting for my perennials to pop back up.

 

What sorts of "earth" gifts would most resonate with you? Do you collect rocks? Bugs? Plants and plant accessories?  Please give all the info about your likes/style

- I have attempted over the last five years to turn my front and back yard into native plant zones, and it's a bit messy/very haphazard but I love it. I do also enjoy rocks and crystals, Missouri has lots of naturally occurring quartz. I try to keep some houseplants but I am terrible at it. I would definitely appreciate a small lawn gnome, or window clings/suncatchers that are plant themed. if you want to send a small plant, I'd advise against anything more needy than succulents or snake plants, unless it can thrive outside in missouri. also don't want any houseplants that are not pet friendly because my cats will chew on fallen (and sometimes still attached) leaves, bless them.

 

What are some of your favorite "precious treasures"?

- my BPAL stash is my precious for sure. I have a plain wooden storage box from ikea that would be fun to paint/decorate but I haven't gotten around to that. 

- I like eclectic wall art, will gladly take more of that, but would also appreciate picture frames of various sizes or gift cards for same. 

- my cats and my plants make me happy :')

- yes. I will get some good examples on my etsy wishlist by end of january. 

what types do you wear?

- mostly I wear earrings, but I also like rings and necklaces for dressing up, on rare occasions.

- cocktail rings can be 6.25 thru 9. 

- for necklaces, I like a large pendant on a longer length chain, or a bigger statement-type necklace on a shorter chain. 

- I can do post earrings, front/back earrings, and dangly or hoop earrings.

- slight preference to gold/copper tone but will wear silver as well. I love all the gem tones, but certainly don't expect precious gems. I don't wear much turquoise tho.

 

LITERATURE

- I love to get physical books but for some reason I can only read fiction that way, and not consistently, so my main thing is audiobooks. I'm mainly on libro.fm right now having cancelled all things amazon, including my audible subscription, but I can still get audible books via my email address. 

 

What sorts of things do you enjoy/not enjoy reading?

- I don't have a book wishlist but I tend to enjoy historical fiction and witchy/vampiric sorts of stories, especially historical fiction about witches and vampires. (The Witches of New York by Ami McKay and The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson are two witchy examples)

- I like scifi/fantasy and nonfiction as well. no jk rowling. (loved the Broken Earth trilogy by NK Jemisin and High on the Hog by Jessica B. Harris)

- lactose intolerance! it's the worst. nothing from an udder for me: milk/cream/cheese/butter/whey. I'm not vegan but certainly vegan things are safe for me, so that makes it easier than reading all the labels.

- I love licorice allsorts and chocolate and pickles and spicy nonsense and salt/vinegar and marshmallows and chocolate.

- I will eat almost anything. I am certainly forgetting something here but my main restriction is no dairy. unfortunately milk still gets added to dark chocolate sometimes, so keep an eye on that kindly. I also love caramel but that is usually milk as well. boo!

- I like light roast and I have a french press but lately I just drink instant coffee because I am the laziest

- I like tea! preference for herbal, but black tea is fine. I don't drink much green unless it's sencha and I have a bunch of that. loose leaf and bags are both good.

- I don't drink nearly as much as I used to, but I am extremely interested in homemade infusions/liqueurs, if that is a thing you do. my fav spirits are whisky/rye/bourbon/scotch (the brown medicines!) and tequila/mezcal.

- yes yes yes please! as long as it is not a terrible bother to make it dairy free.

- I love all the silly stationery things: fun notepads, cards, pens, stickers, washi tapes. I also fold a lot of origami birds. (I love the 3x3 packs from this shop - but standard 6x6 paper is also great.) I like baking and I like the silicone mats/molds/etc.

 

Do you have any allergies, intolerances or lifestyle restrictions/requirements or just simple dislikes which were not otherwise covered elsewhere?

- I like usable gifts and hangable art, since I'm a terrible clutterbug and can't keep any horizontal surfaces (desk, shelf, dresser, kitchen counter) clear for any length of time (and good god, the drawers!). if there is some sort of art/figure/trinket that would normally sit on a horizontal surface that you think would be excellent, go right ahead, but generally I try to avoid those. 

- also I am a picky nonsense person about scented things. I love getting BPAL and I have also enjoyed stuff from PBSW (queen is dead, not your housekeeper), but I don't prefer to receive scented candles/wax melts/bath products/lotions that I haven't vetted. I do like most incense tho! any kind, sticks/cones/loose (I could use more of the charcoal guys for loose incense).

> I put lights up outside since it's so dark over the Winter, and I put some Ikea seven pointed star lanterns in the front windows a few years ago and never took them down. I always loved the glow of the tree and hanging ornaments when I was a kid. 

 

What is your favorite thing about the holidays?

> I love a good snow, and bundling up nice and warm, having big meals with the fam and bringing leftovers home.

> Trimming the tree, probably. Although I have a wayback memory of my grandpa's basement before he quit smoking his pipe and moved to Florida, so tree trimming and pipe smoke.

> Aspirationally eclectic, but it's probably more confused/cluttered.

> No restrictions. I prefer to be able to hang art/decor on the wall, instead of take up space on a horizontal surface. I'm already terrible at cluttering every available inch of horizontal surface that's available!

> I love Camelia Pham and I don't have any of her work. I also love Feral Femme Art and Pam Wishbow.

> no mugs! I have so many mugs and I always want more but I have no rooooom. Wall art is good. Stickers/pins/bags are ok too.

> mostly the same? although for holidays I love a good pine type of smell. the BPAL Fir Needle and Smoke duet is amazing, although I rarely wear it.

> Licorice allsorts are a new fave. Salt and vinegar flavored snax, nutty/coconutty stuff, dill pickles. My favorite condiments are chimichurri, hot sauce, and pickled onions.

> hot singles? jk. allsorts tho.

* need any kitchen items?

> yesss I love to bake pies/cookies/cakes. fun cookie molds/cutters and sprinkles/sugars are welcome. silicone baking stuff like mats and molds and pans are rad (and lightweight for shipping!)

> I have recently discovered my love of instant coffee, which makes me a laughingstock among coffee purists. If there are any fun flavored instant coffees I would try them. I also do any kind of tea, with a preference towards herbal, but caffeinated (black/green) is good too. I also enjoy getting spices for mulling wine or doing hot toddies. 

 

How do you feel about receiving homemade food items (baked goods, cocoas, jam, dried fruit, liqueur samples, etc.)?

> hell. yes. just yknow. no milk/butter/cream.
