    Hemlock

It smells like Vick's VapoRub on me. I don't really like it but the good news is that it did clear my sinuses after only about a half an hour. What a shame.

    The Perilous Parlor

Bottle: Pear and dust. Warm, incredibly foody and just.. yummy. Wet: There's a dusty, fruity sweetness with just a pinch of vanilla ontop of it all. Dry: The vanilla comes out a little more as it dries, but it isn't overwhelming. The pear is still very present, ripe and juicy and there's something new to the mix, something tangy, hidden beneath it all. Wine? Over all, I love it. It's the perfect comforting, nostalgic scent. Normally vanilla and I don't get along well but this vanilla is very tame and it blends with the pear well.

    The Forbidding Foyer

Reading back on older reviews, I don't think mine has changed much from age? Maybe I'm lucky, I've had these scents for a while now and am just getting around to reviewing them. Bottle: Oh! Is my first reaction, straight out of the bottle there's a strong, dark scent, bitter and yet strangely inviting. It smells a bit like chocolate? Wet: It's still strong and bitter, and I'm starting to smell the mahogany, which takes the mind blowing scent from before and makes it a little more rustic. I'm definately smelling the cognac and it seems there's a lone floral in there, or is my nose just sweetening up the rot? Dry: It's a warm, dark scent that can devoure me whole. Very masculine with sweeter notes mixed in. I love it. When I put my hand down to type the cognac from before becomes ghostly, hanging in the air for just a moment longer before fading.

    The Chilling Cellar

Bottle: There's something strong, it immediately jumps out, tangy and bittersweet, like turned fruit. Wet: The tang is more metallic now and the rest of the scent has subdued, strong but slightly muted. I think that's the red clay. Dry: The same as wet. Overall, I really like this scent. It is dusty but there's a kick just beyond that dust, which brightens it up completely, like light managing to get into an old cellar after years of battle. It smells.. renewed, if that makes sense?

    The Atrocious Attic

Bottle: a comforting mixture of florals with a stronger scent hidden underneath, perhaps the sandalwood? It has a bit of a bite to it.. Wet: The Calla lily is the strongest, dominating all the other scents and putting that biting sandalwood back into it's place. The other florals come out from under the lily after a few moments, turning it into a dusted bridal bouquet. Dry: The biting sandalwood has indeed been put back in it's place, it's not detectable at all now, and the lily is softening up a bit, letting the other florals come out to play. It's turning a little powdery too, unfortunately, but it isn't overwhelming. It's a pretty scent, very floral-y which overtakes the sandalwood. I can still smell a little of it in there if I press my nose to my wrist but it's very, very light. The lily comes up in wafts, the strongest scent while the other florals mesh together. I wish it kept up it's bite from the beginning, and that it didn't go powdery on my skin. It isn't baby powder but maybe talcum powder? *sighs* Oh well.
