    Marie

Oh hello, Rose. This scent screams and demands attention; the dual notes overwhelm me, I'm afraid. I'm not particularly good with rose scents to begin with, and when this dried on my skin I felt a sickening in my stomach. It's not a BAD scent, but it smells like it would be more appropriate for a formal event, or for someone looking for something ultra traditional. As the scent settles, it's less bold and out comes the violet. It definitely smells like one of those scents that your grandmother might wear, but then again, that could just be the old-fashioned regality. I might wear this on occasion when I'm feeling a bit queenly, but otherwise this will stay in my jewelry box.

    I Died For Beauty

In the imp it smelled like a potent floral blend... upon application I smelled nothing but powder and potpourri. Fifteen minutes later, and yup, still powder.

    Y'ha-nthlei

I couldn't smell the eucalyptus in Y'ha-Nthlei at all, but no matter. Y'ha-Nthlei did not smell very aquatic in the imp, but when I applied it, it smelled like deep, dark sea. It had an earthy quality to it, and is a darker, less floral, Sea of Glass. A bit masculine. Definitely getting a bottle!

    Sea of Glass

I was expecting a more aquatic scent when I sniffed the bottle, but when I applied Sea of Glass... whew! I was overcome with a distinct floral scent that made my throat itchy. I really wanted to love Sea of Glass.

    Pronouncing "BPAL" and scent names!

How would Y'ha-nthlei be pronounced? Thanks in advance!
