    Crown of Success

I treasure my decant and will replace it with a bottle asap. I wore it when I had my qualifying exam to become a Ph.D. candidate and although I was stuttering from fear earlier that day and thought for sure I was going to cry at the exam, I remained calm and confident throughout. I have been applying for jobs and fellowships and using it on candles. I have high hopes!

    Lady Lilith

She's my Lady L - This is my favorite, I love the bright orange and tea, it softens when it dries into musky rose and tea. It's super lovely and I'm glad I've been able to pick up a few bottles.

    Love's Philosophy

Super sweet and creamy soft, it reminded me immediately of my sister who wore Love's Baby Soft for years when we were kids in the 70's. I liked it but I thought she would love it so I gave it to her. She loves it!

    The Unheavenly City

It's good. It sweetens up on my skin but it is tangy in the vial. Spicy sweet flowers, it's really pretty. Hmm, it dries down to a scent very similar to Haunted Palace, and I had an affair with Haunted Palace but when we were done we were done. I'd like to smell them side by side, I think they are a lot alike.

    Shanghai Tunnel

I was born in Portland, dang, nearly 42 years ago and lived there, all over, for most of my life. How does she do it? And why oh why didn't I call in some favors and get myself some bottles of this? Oh boy. This reminds me of Waterfront Park and wandering around Old Town in 1982 with my high school boyfriend after an all ages show and missing the bus. The smell of the city and the water and concrete. And time passed. I love it.

    Quietude (fizzyBOOM)

I've had a sick child at home for four days and after $1000 in car repairs last week, my car wouldn't start. Probably any bath would have been enjoyable but I wanted peace and tranquility, at least for the space of a bath. Ohmygod. Lovely scent, fizzy and light but as the tub filled I went from evaluating and thinking about the bath to nearly asleep. And then I was, I woke myself up snoring. It was early afternoon and I wasn't aware I was tired. I had no choice but to completely relax. I want more.

    Detox (fizzyBOOM)

I never used this panacea so I didn't know what to expect. I thought it might be overwhelming and in that detoxing state I was feeling delicate - this was perfect. It buoyed and comforted me, the scent, the softness of the water, it was perfect. The bomb was super fizzy, it smelled great but not too intense, my skin feels soft. And a bottle of Detox is on my to-buy list.

    Zazzle (fizzyBOOM)

This was a cocoa powdery lotiony bath, super creamy. It wasn't like being dipped in chocolate, it wasn't super strong smelling to me, which I liked but it was noticable and the bomb fizzed up a storm. I'll slather Bliss, but I really enjoyed the softness of the Zazzle smell. My skin felt great and for hours after I smelled, gently, of cocoa. It was awesome.

    TKO (fizzyBOOM)

I didn't know it until I took a fizzyBOOM TKO bath but it is one of the best smelling smells in the world. The bomb fizzed its heart out, the water was creamy and soft and after a long day of covering everything I needed to do I felt like I could let down my guard and let go. I agree with ivyandpeony - I just went through a Christmas-time stash of lush bubbles and bombs and these BPTP are a lot more grown up, a lot more me.

    Servare

I am wearing this today and anointed a candle with it last night. I love the scent, it is pretty, I don't know what is in it, the others are much better at picking out the notes, plus I am wearing it for a purpose, I needed to talk to financial aid and school begins today, last year I felt a decided lack of compassion from professors in my program, this year I need to put together a commitee and tomorrow I am presenting my thesis idea to my advisor so I am wanting to soften the ground. I feel good wearing the oil, so that is a great beginning!

    Determination

I read a review of this TAL on lj and bought the imp from the reviewer. I am so glad I did. Summer is ending and I have been uninspired to do important but mundane tasks. Last night I used a bit with the intention of cleaning out my filing cabinet and organizing my papers. They were a mess of articles and receipts, papers on top and around. I thought about what I needed to do, inhaled the oil and immediately felt focused toward the task. I put some on each wrist and over my palms, rubbed them together and spent the next few hours on task. Friends are coming back to school and I will have some guests, I have been intending to clean out the pantry, mop the floor, get the kitchen really cleaned up and so that is what I did this morning. I could have done it without the oil, but not for as long and I didn't resent doing the work. It felt good to do it. The smell is dark and smoky and not at all unpleasant to me. I dig it.

    Spirits of the Dead

this is one of the first scents i tried, a frimp from a friend. when i wear it i feel like i am inviting the presence of those spirits who are already helping me, but anyone interested might drop by. i also wear the scent when i want to honor those that have passed, so much of my academic work and that of my dept (ethnic studies) is about ancestors, hauntings, ghosts, this scent immediately grabbed me, that tea note sang out to me and does not let me forget that i am never alone.
