    BPAL and pregnancy

I personally think that if Gingerbread Poppet came back, it might actually help me GET pregnant.

    Play-Doh smell -- should I dilute?

How funny--Play Doh! I've heard a couple of others mention this too, and I think this is what Vice smells like on me. In the bottle, lovely and chocolate, but when I wore it a couple of times, I smelled like a doll I used to have--plastic-y and sort of like Play Doh. I'd try another couple of rounds of imps before swearing them off, and then maybe wear the BPAL oils in scent lockets or in your hair?
  3. Lavinia, I don't know the scents well enough to recommend yet, but I wanted to say, I LOVE your avatar!

    EPIC BPAL Spreadsheet Thread

Apparently I need to keep a database, too. I just discovered that I have ANOTHER 5ml of Desire coming to me. Why couldn't I have made this mistake with Snake Oil or something?
  5. Everything points to this likely being my favorite BPAL perfume of all time. And likely Mr. Heidi's as well. Is there anything close to it that I've overlooked? I like Jack, but it's not 'the one' I was looking for. And believe me, I love all things pumpkin and all things Autumn. Now that I'm writing this, I'm wondering if I should have put this under Recommendations. Has BPAL ever resurrected discontinued perfumes? Oooh, maybe I should ask to have this as a custom blend when things settle down at the Lab? Rambling, as usual, Heidi Edit: moving this to recommendations Heidi. -- s.violet Mod note - Poster was referring to Samhain; when title of thread changed we lost that part. ivyandpeony

    London

I love rose--it's my signature scent. I must have ten bottles of rose oil, each of which has its own scent. Old London did not smell remotely like roses to me, either in the bottle or on me. I'm actually wearing it today, but I'm regretting that I didn't bring another imp with me today. I'm sad to say that one of my first trials of BPAL doesn't work for me. As Amberbella and I seem to be the only ones who didn't love this one, and I received mine in a swap from her, maybe it's just this particular sample. I can't pick out any particular single note--it just smells like generic dept. store perfume.
