On me this is an uber minty white floral. After a hour or 2 some sweetness resides, and subtle green and woodsy smells emerge. Later it's kind of fruity. I am not sure if I like this or not. I really liked it when it was a green & woodsy minty floral. But that fruitness isn't really me. I have hopes that aging this will kill the fruity flower and deepen the sandalwood.

This was one I so wanted to love with gorgeous notes and a great story. To start with it is beautiful bitter almond and jasmine. During drydown I get a little yummy fig, incense, patchouli, saffron, and cinnamon. But this blend fades to powder quickly, and has a very low throw. Someday I will try to age this to get the incense and patchouli stronger, so there is not such a powder drydown. As it was I saved the bottle of this I had sprung on unsniffed by mixing in a little Anny Bonny. To add insult to injury, on top of the nummy notes not lasting, with the sweet powdery drydown I had a few people ask if I was wearing Chanel.

On me, this was a crisp, clean, soapy rose. Nice enough, but not something I would wear.

    Dove's Heart

This was pretty soft florals, nice but not me.

    Kabuki

On me this was cherry flavored cough syrup.

    The Temptation

This was a beautiful, ultra feminine floral scent that's just not me.

    Jabberwocky

This is a little too strong on the pine for me to really enjoy as a perfume, but it sure does clean the sinuses!

    Tzadikim Nistarim

On me, this was very citrus, fruity. Pretty, but not astounding and not really me.

The scent of sexual obsession, slavery to sensual pleasure, and the undercurrent of innocence defiled utterly. Amber and honey with a touch of vanilla. On me this is sweet and musky, and could be interpreted as certain bodily fluids. After a couple of hours it dries down to a sweet almond.

    The Hanging Gardens

On me, this is a heady floral with the fruits way, way in the background mostly indistinguishable. I thought pretty, but not me. Well I dug it out of a drawer 3 months later, and thought I'd try it again. That time I got juicy pears, and tart pomegranates at the forefront, with some fig and the florals underneath the fruit. Well I thought, that was yummy but still not really me. I hope with some more age, the woods will come out and the fruits will stay strong but not turn sour.

On me, this becomes a lovely spicey amber. But my disapointment that this did not stay ginger snaps, like it was in the bottle and on me for 15 minutes or so, will never go away. Never. Ever. I love Lovecraft but the thought of smelling of "satanic ginger snaps" got me to buy a 5ml of this unsniffed. I kept slathering on more every 30 min.s or so to keep smelling like ginger snaps. After a week and a half or so of being nearly saturated in this stuff, totally fed up I decided to use it as a room scent and I also poured some in the bottom of the garbage cans in my house. And OMG, our garbage cans always smell heavenly when they get emptied. The amber is aging so well, I am kicking myself for not saving that bottle to age it some first before giving up on it. With age, this is a gorgeous rich spiced amber. I will invest on a bottle to age sooner or later.

It seems to be the consensus on the board that treacle can equal burnt plastic, and sadly that's what this did on me. To start with I get sugar and delicous apple, then burnt plastic. It takes a good hour for the plastic smell to die down. Then I get sugary, spicy carnation with enough wafts of burnt plastic here and there to be unpleasant.

On me, "I am super rose. I shall kill all those musks and spices that dare oppose me" or something. This seems to be a single rose accord, that turns a smidge soapy. This one will be saved for layering, if I decide some blend could use some rose.

    Lady Una

On me, this is blackberry/ musk initially, then saccharine/ vanilla honey blackberry with a musk that comes & goes. Summery, young, fun, gourmand, with enough musk here and there to keep it from going little girl. This is juicy ripe blackberries covered in honey with vanilla ice cream, and a touch of your golden musky skin warmed by the sun while you picked those blackberries. Whatever you do don't wear this in the sweltering heat, I did and it about made me sick. Too cloying for really hot days, but lovely for early summer, and autumn. I really like this, but I don’t love it. It could use a little more golden musk. When the musk is equal with the vanilla honey blackberries, it's perfect. But when it decides to go away for a bit this become a little too gourmand for me. This is my first foray into gourmand, well since girlhood when I wore cotton candy and fruity body sprays, and now I'm pretty sure I can pull them off when they are paired with something else. Since I wasn't here when single notes were around, and since they aren't around now I don't feel quite so blasphemous to suggest I might pair Lady Una with a little Egyptian Goddess, instead of lamenting over not having one of Beth's golden musk single notes to layer with.

    Machu Picchu

Sweet tropical fruits burst through deep, wet rainforest boughs, enormous steamy blossoms, over thin mountaintop breezes, mingled with the soft, rich golden scent of Peruvian amber. On me this was a pretty, well blended oil with rainforest greenery, flowers, and that bizarre breeze note, with indistinguishable fruit and amber. But tropical isn't really me. And after several hours of wearing, I get just a hint of bugspray. I'm pretty sure artificial breeze note + tropical greens+ hot house blooms are the culprits.
