Apart from BPAL, I am writing a series of novels called "An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom" in which scent frequently appears. The first two books n the series are out now.

I read voraciously. Favorites include Gaiman, Pullman, Austen, Dickens, Trollope, Heyer, the Brontes, and I'm currently plowing my way through the Harvard Classics. My favorite books of all time, though, are Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey/Maturin series.

I am a Pagan with special relationships with Mary, Erzulie Freda, Frigga, Odin and Mercury.

I also spin and knit, and homeschool two little girls.
