    Boo

in the bottle: Sweet cotton candy goodness! wet: Sugary. Almost vanilla-y. dry: Just when you think it may be too sweet or candy-like the "clean" note comes in and tames it. Lovely scent. I can't stop sniffing my wrists. I love this one. Definitely getting a bottle.

    Crypt Queen

In the Bottle: Sweet juicy fruits. Berries. Wet: Still sweet, but the scent gets darker and edgier. The florals come out to play. Dry: The rose (I think it's the rose) starts to go sharp and soapy on me. Damn. I think that is the one note I need to avoid above all others. A few hours later: The soapy rose fades and now I'm getting whiffs of spicy fruit. I'm so glad the rose faded for me. A kind soul answered my ISO post and sold me the set. I'm so glad she did! Once this calms down it is a lovely scent on me that is sweet and spicey. Very nice.

    Eve

In the bottle: It reminds me of pear. Very juicy. Wet: Tangy apples. It reminds me of SGA. Dry: Ugh. Sadly it becomes very sharp, almost soapy on me. Some hours later: Finally the scent has calmed down to almost a pleasant honey. But this isn't one I'll hold on to.

    Strawberry Moon 2009

My first ever review. Yikes. *scared* I have no idea what I'm doing, but here goes nothing. In the bottle: Sweet, sweet red strawberries. Almost syrupy and candy-like. Wet: This reminds me of cutting strawberries with my grandma in her kitchen, the way the juice smells after it stains your fingers. Still sweet and sugary, though. I like it. Dry: I can now smell the green of the vine underneath. And the sweetness is tamed. Definitely a keeper. I kind of want to gnaw on my wrist now...

Your Best-Bet "Must Try" Enabling Scents

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I haven't seen a thread specifically like this and I think it would be useful for those of us overwhelmed by all the info on this site. I know my first BPAL order was all over the place and I wish there had been a thread like this for me to look over before I'd ordered.

Your Best-Bet "Must Try" Enabling Scents

Hi, I'm kind of newbie. I mostly lurk and read through threads. I'm only now really discovering the kind of scents that I like. (Foodytype scents mostly.) But LE's tempt me so much. So a question for those that are in the know. What are the MUST HAVE GC scents that you suggest every newbie try an imp of? Like a newbie primer of scents? Please only list things that are available now. I know I'm already tempted to chase down scents I'll probably never have a chance of getting. Thanks! ~~~~~~~~~ Here's the list: Morocco Snake Oil Perversion Bordello Antique Lace Tombstone Dorian Alice O The Lion Shub-Niggurath Phantom Queen I Died for Beauty Bengal

    Email order acknowledgement

ITA. And I've ordered 4 or 5 times now. I get antsy waiting for the UPS e-mail. And I do end up e-mailing the lab just to make sure my order is there/is on its way/forgive my newbishness. They are always quick to answer and very nice, but the waiting is difficult.
