    something herme's 24 faubourg'ish

I know that this is a bit late, but have just seen you post... On me 'The Caterpillar' smell exactly like 24 faubourg by Hermes... Not a shock when you look at the notes The Caterpillar Heavy incense notes waft lazily through a mix of carnation, jasmine, bergamot, and neroli over a lush bed of dark mosses, iris blossom, deep patchouli and indolent vetiver. 24 faubourg by Hermes Faubourg is a reflection of luxury and femininity, with a composition that is based on rich flowers contrasting the dryness of patchouli. Beautiful melody of orange blossom, ylang-ylang, and jasmine, wrapped into winy amber, hovering over a subtly orchestrated chypre accord. Earthy nuance of vetiver and woody-floral iris note are in contrast with the abundance of white flowers in the heart. 24 Faubourg includes notes of orange blossom, jasmine Sambac, ylang-ylang, iris, ambergris and vanilla.

Gourmand - Foody Scents - General Recommendations

Not sure if this should be here, or in the 'similar to perfume' section... I had a room spray by Crabtree & Evelyn called Patisserie, but they seem to have discontinued it in the UK, where I do most of my shopping. It was wonderful warm buttery pastry set off with the slight sharpness of burnt sugar - perfect. Do you know of anything I could try to replicate this? Thnaks

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

New to this forum and trying to decide on my first 12 imps... I wear Flower by Kenzo, but the last lot I bought was EDP and it goes really powdery on me. The EDT was clean and fresh. The blurb says: Flower is a contemporary modern fragrance. A soft blend of wild hawthorn, bulgarian rose, parma violet, cassia, hedione, white musk and vanilla I also love Bvlgari Pour Femme EDP Blurb: Bvlgari Pour Femme is a refined, flowery fragrance possessing a blend of violet, jasmine and orange blossom. Most perfumes turn to "Granny Talk" on me, but the flower EDT and Bvlgari don't. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
