Pickle Hair Gloss

Recommended Posts

Liliths bright, bouncy, goofy Leo! A gleaming vanilla cream poof of coconut with a hint of tiare.

This is pretty much exactly what it says - a creamy coconutty vanilla. The tiare really is just a hint, it is like a light floral whisper in the background. The coconut isn't an overly sugary or baked goods type coconut, nor is the vanilla cream particularly sweet. It smells lush, velvety and faintly tropical somehow.

When I sprayed this on my daughter, I swear it smelled just like toasted coconut candy. But the next morning when I used it on myself, I got more of the vanilla and a hint of the tiare. Sweet, soft, vanilla coconut with a dab of tropical tiare.

It's beautiful and lovely and I'm so glad I have a bottle of Pickle! <3

Pickle is sooooo nice, and I find it VERY different than Coconut, Vanilla Bean and Tiare HG. In fact, this is the blend I wanted CVBT to be! Okay, yeah, there’s a suntan lotion-like smell for a very brief moment initially, but that is gone quickly. The scent left behind is definitely more of a “poof” scent. Yup, if you were wondering about that part of the description, that is where it fits in. If you could find a coconut-flavored marshmallow and pump it full of air, then add a burst of that glorious tropical monoi, you’d get Pickle. GET SOME.

Origin: Straight from the Post

Initial Thoughts: I like CVBT very much and was curious how this might be different even though they're the same notes.

In the Bottle: CVBT is very vanilla and very tiare and very suntan-lotion tropical. Pickle is very coconut and very vanilla, but somehow not all that foody to me.

Wet Hair: A little tiare comes out, but again the balance between the three notes is significantly different. This is gentler overall.

After Blowdrying: Very vanilla, lightly coconut. Gentle enough to wear to work, in my opinion.

Verdict: I'm very glad I got two bottles and may get another in my next order. If you wanted to love CVBT but found it too strong, give this a try.

I have been desperate for a coconut HG. I find Coconut Vanilla Tiare HG to be allll about the Tiare.

This is lighter, creamier. The coconut is more dominant in this, which is what I was hoping for. The Tiare just adds to the tropical vibe, instead of being overpowering. This smells like summer in a bottle! It's not too sweet. It's a warm, summery scent, and I will get a ton of wear out of it I am sure!

I've tried Coconut Vanilla Tiare, and that one was fairly strong on me and heavy on the tiare. This one is much, much lighter. Unfortunately, so much lighter that I put it on and minutes later it disappears :( It's more coconutty, which I love, but not strong enough for me.

Very fluffy vanilla and coconut cream, with just a hint of tiare flower. Very different than CVBT on me, which was tropical and more coconut heavy.

Hmm.. I'm not sold. Something in this HG smells fake/plasticy/off. There is surely coconut there, but it's not the sweet and earthy kind I'm obsessed with. It's sharp and bright white. Maybe that's the tiare? Either way, it's not great on me and I'm going to have to ship Pickle off to swaps. It's a shame, the label and everything is seriously adorable.

I love Pickle hair gloss. This is such a yummy combination of vanilla, coconut, and tiare. It smells very summery to me between the tiare and the coconut (which I'm really digging at this time of year when even spring seems so far away). I tried this a couple of times and liked it. But today, after it's now good and rested, I tried it again and adored it. It's part tropical, part foody, and part comforting. My go-to tropical hair gloss has been Pearl, but the tiare in Pickle is making me think this could be a good substitute for when my bottle of Pearl finally runs dry.

It doesn't hurt that the cutest puppy is on the label, that's for sure. :)

Admittedly, I went a little crazy for the puppers. I'm okay with that-- more so each time the wind blows my hair across my face,

or I'm sitting still indoors wondering what that delicious smell is and realize that it's wafts from the hair gloss I applied this morning.

Pickle is everything I was hoping for: an airy, creamy vanilla coconut with only the tiniest hint of floral. There really is a poofy

quality to it that does resemble the feel of a marshmallow, but could also be a hint of atmospheric- like a gentle touch of ozone.

Either way, my head is in a lovely sweet cloud of weightless macaroony bliss. This one is gentle and will complement many of

my new found favourite scents. Pickle is bound to get a lot of love  both while I'm longing for the warmth to return

and after it arrives.

Pickle is a creamy, coconutty, vanilla memory. I don't remember what memory it is, but, I know the scent reminds me of SOMETHING.

It's a joyful scent. I love it and it's super summery! A little floral, a little vanilla, a bit coconutty. So good!

It reminds me of a day in the wind during the summer. Early summer. Not too hot, breezy, and full of adventure.

I'd say this is a lighter version of the BBW Creamy Coconut. It does feel like the perfect balance of vanilla, coconut, and tiare. And I like how it's not overpowering, but I can still smell it if I move my head fast enough.

Okay, finally got my mitts on a bottle of this, and using it as a HG and body spritz.  I thought it would be much stronger on me as I tend to amp vanilla, but a ton of people said it was like high-end tropical suntan oil which is what I was going for, so I gave it a shot.  SO glad I did!  On me, the "lotion" note dissipates quickly and leaves behind a very soft, faint veil of vanilla and tiare with some coconut notes.  Luckily, it is NOT a gourmand-y blend on me, which is what I was hoping for.  Unlike a lot of my other faves, which tend to run to the very strong (think patchouli/creosote/red musk notes) this one is not only office safe but  job interview safe and NYC Gross Sticky Summertime safe.  So so gentle and pretty.
