Pa-Pow Hair Gloss

Recommended Posts

Pa-Pow the Wonderdog: the great love of Teddys life, his little soulmate. We lost her in 2008, but her spirit will be with Teddy forever.

Three golden ambers with a hint of jellybean.

Good lord.

I can *feel* the love for this dog. This scent is beyond gorgeous and I suspect I will need at least one backup bottle. I can't even describe it. It's deep and warm and light and sweet and it all blends so wondrously that it's just a cloud of remembered puppy kisses in the late afternoon sun. My boyfriend couldn't stop snuggling up to me and sniffing, even saying that I "smell cuddly." Seriously, guys. Holy shit.

If you're hesitating because you think it'll be too resinous or heavy, don't. If you're hesitating because you think it'll be too saccharine or juvenile, don't. It's perfect.

Yuuumm!! The amber is gorgeous and amazing. I was worried about the jellybean, but it smells more like starburst to me. I sprayed this on my sleeve, and have had my nose stuffed in it since. Typing is hard, lol. But I can't stop sniffing it!!! This smells like sheer joy and happiness. I love it so much, and don't know why people aren't talking about it. Go get some!! (seriously, I adore this).

In the decant: Cherry Starburst backed by amber.

In my hair, the Starburst-like jellybean note dominates at first, and then the soft ambers come out more after some wear. That said, the candy note never goes away: I still get lots of it hours later. It's just not as strong as it was when first sprayed.

I've worn this two days in a row. On the first day, it reminded me more of Starburst. On the second, there were moments when it continued to remind me of that, but when I freshly applied it to my hair the second day, it did have a crushed jellybean vibe.

It's a very nostalgic, comforting scent. My boyfriend has told me that I smell really nice and that he really likes it two days in a row.

It looks like there is going to be a bottle of Pa-Pow in my future.

This one took a while to grow on me, but it has turned into a love! It wasn't what I pictured in my head, so it took me a while to get over that and actually smell the gloss for what it was.

Somehow it comes across like red incense, amber and something sweet/sugary. I'm guessing the jellybeans are somehow reading as "red incense and sugar" to me.

Over all I really like it and it lasts forever...when I finally go to wash it out of my hair, the heat from the shower + the gloss makes the whole bathroom smell of it at first!

I have no idea how I haven't reviewed this yet; this was my first hair gloss purchase, EVER.

This is love upon first spray; sweet, fruity candy(I'm not sure if it necessarily smells like "jellybean" to me) mixed with a gorgeous amber. I think the jellybean note may have scared people away, but it mixes with the amber in a freaking glorious way. It lingers in the hair for several hours before fading. (About 5-6 hours, which is pretty normal for my hair at least.)

Bottled happiness. Seriously.

My bottle has just a few sprays left, but I think this is my favorite HG I've ever tried. LOVE.

Pa-Pow HG is lovely.  It actually has more of a warm sexy vibe than the sweet candy starburst vibe I was expecting.  Definitely heavy on the amber, which I love, and very warm and slightly spicy.  I wouldn’t pick out the jellybean as a note, it just adds a tiny bit of fruity sweetness and blends with the amber in a gorgeous way.  This will be great for end of summer/fall.  Also it has such a cute label! 😍
