BPAL Madness!

Silvered honey zapped with fizzy champagne grape.

It says it has fizzy champagne grape. That does not even begin to describe the effervescence. This is more shaken up cola spewing out of the bottle than champagne on me. And it has staying power for hours and hours. It is cheery and fun. I rather like it.

That champagne fools with my nose a bit. It almost reminds me of more a fizzy pink grapefruit (see what I mean by nose foolery). It does have a brightness to it, but it's hard to say if it's for me. I get elements of champagne, pink grapefruit, fizzy cola, and oddly Sierra Mist soda in it (despite not having some of those mentioned notes). It does elevate my energy with the scent, but somehow feels very foreign wafting continuously around my olfactories. Definitely a good mood elevator, but somehow uncertain if it suits my scent personality preferences with its combo airiness and bubbliness.

This is so fizzy in the bottle! It's like baking soda in Sprite soda pop. As I sniffed the bottle I felt like I was waiting for the bubbles to go up my nose.

On my skin, I got a bright fizzy and sweet blend. It's somewhere between champagne and mead for me. I don't normally like the bright and cheerful scents, they're usually too feminine or too happy for me. I might have to get a full bottle of this one!

This will be my first "odd bird" blend in my collection. It is the first one that doesn't seem like anything I would like. It's completely different from the type of scents I normally go for. I can't help it, I just love this one!

Joy Buzzer is very balanced as the lab's Champagne note is behaving itself. Champagne bubbles sharing the limelight with subdued Honey makes it one of my favorite "fizzy" scents. I'm hoping this partnership will last as the bottle ages.

Wow, yep, Joy Buzzer is straight-up-the-nose champagne bubbles. (How does Beth do that?!?) This type of note fades rather fast on me, sadly (and I don't get any honey here) but I'm happy to slather on the contents of my imp while it lasts. It definitely makes me smile.

FizzzzzzZZZzzzzZZZZZzzzzzzzzZZZZ!!! All the bubbly fizz of 21 minus the juniper notes. A faint honey sweetness develops on the drydown, but it's mostly FIZZ!

I will never understand how this goddess of scent makes something smell bubbly. What a gift she has.

FIZZ! The champagne note in this gives this metal buzzer its joy! It smells like a joy buzzer in my mind! :P

Geek.goth, is that you? On wet, I get an almost lime fizz ticking my nose. It dries down to a more vanilla creme soda sort of smell. In fact, that's exactly what it smells like to me. Vanilla creme soda. Good throw, good wear length.

I love Joy Buzzer! Champagne is one of my favorite BPAL notes and this is just about straight champagne, but with an underlying layer of honey that deepens and sweetens it. The fizziness settles down after a few minutes and it becomes soft and sweet and smells so good!

In bottle: All of the Prank LE collection looked great to me. I'm kicking myself for not getting Whoopie Cushion. Smells like 7 Up!

Wet: tickles my nose if I get too close! And it still buzzes after I've taken my nose away. Wet smells like I just spilled 7 Up on myself. Bitches Love Unicorns is sprite Remix... this is 7 Up. Lemon lime soda. No grape or honey. I think the silvered honey might be giving it a light floral nectar sweetness?

Dry: These types of scents never last long. It just fades but keeps the same notes as the beginning. Wishing I would of got Whoppy Cushion! I already have a lemon lime scent I love and Bitches Love Unicorns beats this for me. Overall really pleasant scent, but I don't get grape or honey?

3/5 Nice scent, nothing great. Short lasting. Destash.

Wet: Champagne, and something a touch buttery. I amp the Lab's champagne note like no other, so I was expecting this to be champagne single note. But I'm actually getting the floral honey now! My nose thought it was buttery, but my nose was wrong, it's a beautiful floral honey note, kind of like the one in Door, if I remember right. Wow, I like this even more than I thought, champagne and honey is lovely. It has a clean edge that I find champagne notes often do on me, and I like that.

Dry: The champagne and honey are now equal. It's so pretty! The honey note has taken on a musky undertone that I am enjoying. Low throw, for a honey note, it doesn't sock you in the face like it sometimes does. I love this.

The lab's champagne notes are always too sweet and a little sickly (pukey) smelling on my skin, and that's what I get from this blend as well. I can't really pick out the honey, but the champagne itself is like a fizzy, sugar saturated booze.

Fizzy motor oil?

When wet, I get a blast of fizziness, like the Lab's champagne note but without the usual sweetness. After a bit, an almost buttery notes comes out that I can't place for a while.

Drydown, fizzy beeswax and something mildly chemical. The throw makes me think 'fizzy motor oil' and I can't get it out of my head.

Decent throw and great longevity.
