White amber, galbanum, frankincense, celery seed, white moss, and immortelle.

Sweet holy celery seed this is awesome!!!

I did not order a decant of this, the note list didn't grab my fancy, but I was lucky enough to sniff it out of a friends' collection and it is darned ridiculously amazing (she was kind enough to allow me to skin test it).

On me this is a strong resiny floral, which is strange because a quick search of the Internet for Imortelle says things like "burnt sugar" and "maple syrup" not "rose-like floral."

As an aside, I can't usually wear rose, it goes sour on my skin, but this scent smells on me like roses smell on the bush: deep, spicy, lush and fresh.

The Galbanum and Amber are the perfect base for the floral notes, and it dries down to a beautiful resiny perfection with a hint of mossiness to freshen up the whole brew. For me this is the Raptures and a Roses of the Miskatonic Philharmonic, if it makes any sense whatsoever to compare perfumes that share zero notes.

Try this if you love floral-resin scents. Seriously.

Instant bottle purchase.

Wet on my skin. I smell like I have been rolling in celery.

This is an unusual interpretation of a resinous blend, usually I associate amber and frankincense with being anchors, but this blend plays out a little differently.

The frankincense is lending a hint of sweetness and holding its own among the higher and airy notes of the galbanum. I have the SN galbanum, and it is definitely a feature here. The other notes play supporting, rounding, softening roles to the galbanums sharp, green somewhat piercing starring role.

White amber, white moss and frankincense. This one is a light, resinous blend with a white vibe. It's mainly an amber blend, but with touches of moss and frankincense.

While being gender neutral, I can see a guy really appreciating this one as a perfume since it smells resinous without being overpowering, and its not a heavy resin or has no sweet elements to it. At least to me.

I'm guessing white amber may not be as warm smelling as regular amber. This definitely smells 'white' and sharp, almost vegetal on me in a noxious weed kind of way. This is not playing well with me, though I really wanted to know what white amber smelled like. Nice to try, but not for me.

Testing this on the inside of my elbow since I tested Ossa Arida on my wrists earlier today.

In the imp: Very sharp. I think I'm smelling the celery seed most of all, which makes me a little nervous. But then, things do sometimes smell different on my skin that they do in the bottle or imp.

Wet on skin: Well, this doesn't. It's still very astringent, with a bitter celery note being all I can really pick out. I can't even smell the frankincense, I think I usually amp that.

Dried down: Still the same. It's not morphing at all, and I wish it would.

Throw: Almost none, which I thik may be a good thing.

Verdict: * 1/* Yeah, this REALLY didn't work for me. I'm giving tit the extra half star mostly because I don't think I would turn my nose away from this scent - I don't hate it that much - but it's a bit too medicinal for me. And this is coming from someone who likes the scents of a lot of medicines.

Actually, oddly, bought two of these from the decant circle.

IN THE IMP: Super fresh green outdoors after the rain. Not really what I experienced with amber and frankincense in description but still nice.

Dabbed on wrist and in crook of arm.

WET: Very fresh and green and meadowsy. The green and leafy components are very predominant and very invigorating. It reminds me of my teens.

DRYDOWN: Oddly I get ZERO frankincense and/or amber for it -- the two notes I bought it for -- and yet I quite like it a lot. It smells like spring when I was a teen.

OVERALL. I could see this being hugely popular with the young teen girls and teengagers. It smells not so much like reomance per se, but like the kind of situation ... a relaxing fun day i the park ... where you could find romance, young love. I am sure there is a nother BPAL scent this reminds me of but I don't know what it is. Something with fields and heather and green ferns and stuff. But as much as I like it, it's really not me and will not be a keeper. I hope some young still impressionable girl who thinks she might find cute boy temp boyfriend soon will get it.

On a scale of 1-5, a 4.3

Hard to describe. Resinous, kind of masculine. But there's also a citrusy fruity-floral...the immortelle perhaps? Not sure where the celery seed comes in, either. No moss that I can tell. Seriously, resin/fruit/floral is best I can do.

The best way I can describe this is as a pale green/white scent -- it's white floral and resinous, but very lightly so, while the celery seed and white moss add a clean, mildly green freshness to the scent. Overall, a light and airy take on a white floral and resin scent. I find myself reaching for this a lot in late winter/early spring, and I'm glad I was able to track down a full bottle after being frimped a decant.
