Torn Candy Bag Bath Oil

Recommended Posts

Sour gummies, lemon drops, jujubes, and lollipops scattered on a broken patch of cement and dandelion-dotted grass.

Well, i'm going to go out on a limb and say the lollipops have to be cherry lollipops because i get a ton of cherry candy here, as well as lemon candy which reminds me of Lemon Sticky Bat oil :) Sad to say i get something a tiny bit plastic too, like instead of a torn candy bag it was one of those pumpkin pails that had the candy in it! The "dandelion" is very well blended and is most like "Roadhouse" only without the booze, the cherry and lemon candy predominates so you almost don't smell it though, it is very much in the background.

I have only sniffed this, so I will be back to say more when it has actually been out of the bottle, but I have to agree about the plastic note. Does bath oil age well? I've been able to age the plastic out of many of my favourite oils, like Lawn Gnome, which started out smelling like someone dipped strawberry shortcake doll in patchouli, but now is wonderful and deep and complex. Lots of lemon sweet and plastic.

On first sniff, I immediately thought Treatsy in Cherry. On wet, it has more of a lemon scent to me. But, that does fade out and then the cherry comes back and more of a candy feel. Occasionally I get a whiff of the plastic already mentioned, but it keeps getting knocked out by the sweetness. I don't get much of the grass or cement. I'm definately glad I got the bottle.

Just opened my bottle of this today and had an absolutely divine bath with it. Also reminds me of Kingdom of Sweets (which I love, thankfully) as it is very fizzy, fruity and sweet. Gorgeous! :wub2:

In the decant: Sweetish, but there's a sharpish note lurking deep in the mix.

Wet: Bitter and sharp? :ack:

The dry-down: This takes a while to be absorbed into the skin. (Note: I only use the bath oils as an after-shower "lotion".) It turns back to that sweetish combination of notes, but the grass, lemon, and cement blending of notes is still rather obvious. Won't need any more of.

I get Sugar Plum Fairy from this...a cherry cousin. Once it's added into the my bath, it gets fairy strong, and then a plastic undertone comes along. I enjoy it, but its not perfect so I'm happy I only got a 1/2 oz.

This is AMAZING at first. Tart gummies (smell's like strawberries) to me, with a slight musky vibe. After a bit, much the same, only there is a unpleasant dusty vibe, with something dark and annoying that doesn't belong. I'm wondering if there is pom here due to the dusty note. Almost herbal, or vetiver-like on me. The beginning stages reminded me of Loli-goth, and though the end result is aaaaalmost the same, there is that annoying sour/off/dusty note in the background. I'll keep my decant, as it's not a total loss, but I'm glad I just got a decant.

Sugar sweet! I get lemon candies, sugary gumdrops and a touch of dandelion. Overall, this is a candy blend, and if you like your candy and like smelling like candy, go bathe in this.

Honestly at this moment, it makes me mildly nostalgic for Halloween.
