CBLDF Teams with BPAL for Gaiman Offerings at San Diego Comic Con

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (Booth 1920) is proud to offer a wide array of new, signed, & unique premiums from Newbery Award winning author Neil Gaiman and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.

Sunbird -- Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is thrilled to present a numbered, limited edition chapbook of Neil Gaiman's short story, Sunbird, illustrated by Julie Dillon.

Each package comes with a 5ml bottle of perfume, created by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, that was inspired by Sunbird.

 

This set is a limited run of 1000.

 

250 will be sold by the CBLDF at the San Diego Comic Con 2009, and the remainder will go on sale July 30, 2009, on the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab website.

 

This is a charitable, not-for-profit venture: proceeds from every single set goes to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fun, which works to preserve the First Amendment rights of the comic community.

 

Both signed and unsigned versions of Sunbird will be available from the CBLDF.

 

 

15 Painted Cards From A Vampire Tarot-- Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is proud to present a 15-month scent and art series based on Neil Gaiman's short story, "15 Painted Cards from a Vampire Tarot."

 

Each package comes with a 5ml bottle of perfume inspired by the tale and a corresponding tarot card, created by Madame Talbot.

A t-shirt featuring Madame Talbot's artwork for the series will also be available through Black Phoenix Trading Post.

 

The Fool is premiering at San Diego Comic Con through the CBLDF, along with a Comic Con exclusive variant of The Fool created by Alicia Dabney.

The first card set will be available in August of 2009 on the Black Phoenix sites.

 

A new set will be added to the collection each month, spanning 15 months.

Who Killed Amanda Palmer -- The CBLDF will offer the full line of Who Killed Amanda Palmer fragrances from BPAL, inspired by the photography book featuring stories by Neil Gaiman!

 

There will be 12 scents available both at the CBLDF booth and at Amanda's Friday night concert. Who Killed Amanda Palmer scents will be available after Comic Con from Post War Trade.

 

All proceeds from these items benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund!
