BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Unreleased prototype, no scent description given.

Apples or a sweet fruit, spices, cidery, amber?.

This reminds me a lot of Ho Ho Ho but darker and richer.

Inside the bottle, apple spice.

Wet on the skin, still spice and apples but I am also getting a mild wood note that keeps this from going foodie on my skin.

As it dries, becomes muskier with underlying apple and spice notes.

Wow, this is a very fruity floral with a touch of spice. It's sweet and while it makes me think of apples, it also brings pineapples to my mind. Perhaps its the fact that I can smell almonds. It has a very strong almond component, and a VERY creamy drydown. Perhaps also a touch of wood.

PPG28 - When it's wet on my skin, it's a woody scent with heavy, green leaves. It smells like pineapple leaf and wood. As it dries down, the heavy, green leafy scent disappears, and what's left is wood and creamy pineapple -- sweet, tangy pineapple. It's the perfect pineapple scent. It smells like *real* pineapple as opposed to an artificially produced pineapple scent. I love it. I really love it!

Sniffed: Extremely pale yellow oil. Clean, fresh, slightly floral cologne. Maybe a little aquatic? Very light and a little brisk, possibly citrusy.

Wet: Sweeter, heavier, but still quite fresh. I get some sort of greenery, some type of herb - maybe basil or tomato leaf? A little spicy and masculine but garden-y and almost culinary. I also think there's a bit of bergamot in here. Less floral - it's more a general cologne feel now.

Dry: This sort of reminds me of Planting Moon minus the soil notes - similar green freshness with soft wildflowers. There's an almost powdery sweetness though, actually not unlike powdered sugar, which makes this less masculine of a scent.

Later: Reminds me of some of the Dorian CTs I tried - sugary tea/musk drydown green-herbal, slightly floral cologne. Quite nice, if a little sweet and a little herbal for my personal tastes.

This reminds me a TON of Samhain - the appley fall notes, the faintly smoky, leaves-and-resin background, sweet and spicy and overcast at once. It seems a little cologney-er, though...

PPG28 is kind of like Samhain Lite. If I had to name notes, I'd say apple cider and sandalwood. Like Samhain, it makes me feel sneezy.
